Hello? Hello?

Everland Amusement Park. It has been so long since the last time I have been here! Wow, this park has five theme areas, and it's full of coasters and rides and wow. This is amazing. And tonight, although the day was murky and obscure, the night is crystal clear, and I can see every single speck of glittering stars over the fog of my own breath.

This was amazing, amazingly nostalgic. It was so beautifully antique that I just wanted to touch everything and feel the metal rods turn into dust and flow around me with its grainy fingertips reminding me of a even earlier youth. But tonight was not so, it was bustling with people, but not children. I did not remember a late night Everland like what I was witnessing.

"Is tonight some special event?" I turned to ask Luhan.

He was gazing around, squinting, tip-toing. His glasses were already off.

"Yes! Yes it is. Lets go register. Oh and take off those sunglasses, no one's gonna pay attention to us tonight, it’s just us!"

Luhan placed an arm behind my back and pushed me towards a registration booth, there were about six people in front of us. He took out two large tickets from his equally large coat pockets and waved them in front of me. "Admission tickets! But we need to sign up for the event." He sounded like a child. How could one be so hyped on a cold winter night?

He signed both our names onto the sheet, his own under the alias of Meng Lu, but mine under another alias of Xiumin.

"Xiumin? What's that?"

"秀敏, Xiumin. It means beautiful and keen. You'll go under that alias now."

"Will I be needing an alias?" I cocked a brow.

He nodded matter-of-fact-ly and pulled me through the crowd.

"Wait, Lu-, wait!"

We swished past pretty ladies and their well dressed counterparts. It was a massive blur of pink chiffon and grey matter; above was the splashing sound of leaves dancing in the navy wind, and then the screams of passengers on the roller coaster.

Luhan turned to look at me with his dilated brown eyes, and then the smile on his face. "Let's go."

"No... No, no, no I can't." Roller coasters? That's a little bit too much for me.

To our left was a worker with a megaphone calling for the next batch.

"Too late!" Luhan cackled and pulled on my arm. I refused to nudge; no way was I getting on that thing.

He looked back at me with a slightly confused face, but then smiled again. Mischevious kid! He scooped me up, one arm under my shoulders and the other under my knees, and sprinted towards the line.

"Luha-! Lu-! Lulu stop! Lulu!"

We reached the line; he put me down and smiled, his eyes a downwards crescent. I couldn't help but, but slap his stupid face! And ruffle his hair, and pinch his cheeks, and say "okay. You win, I'll go."

He smiled that cresent moon smile, the one like two waning moons, when we got off the roller coaster, when we went and got hot chocolate, when we went into the winter fields and looked beneath our feet which seemed to be blooming, full of poinsettias.

"It's time for the event, come on, we can't miss it!"

I didn't even know what the event was. He refused to tell me; I wonder what could have been so special for him to keep it secret.

"Welcome, ladies and gentleman, to the annual Winter Brace Event. We hope you have all enjoyed your evening, because this is the last event. We will announce the winning couple of the winter of 2012!"

The crowd encored. I turned to Luhan, speaking into his ear, "this is a couple event?"

He looked into my eyes with his lips mended together and nodded softly.

"We will draw from this box," a large clear box was brought upon the stage, "a card, which will have two names on it, they will be the winner. There will be three pairs of winners, however, first, second, and third. And we will go in a backwards order. So third place is..." The sound effects played a drumroll, the lady stuck her hand into the opening of the box and pulled out a card.

"Kang Dongho and Choi Minki!"

Boy names? A blond girl..? She, or if I was mistaken, he, walked up with an equally blond boyfriend embarrassingly trailing behind him or her. They had red poinsettia wreaths placed on top of each of their heads and then received a cute basket full of gifts.

"Second place winner is Choi Minho and Meng Jia!"

A lovely girl walked up the stage hand in hand with her boyfriend. They looked so pure, so genuine, especially with the white poinsettia wreaths placed on their heads. Like angels.

"And the first place winner is..." I looked up at the speaker, "Nichkhun Hor... Horvejkul! And Song Qian! Congratulations!"

Pink confetti exploded from all sides and started falling down like cherry blossom petals during the winter. I clapped myself into the encore, and people looking up onto the stage with admiration. I was so happy for them, they looked like they belonged together, like one soul split into two halves, that finally found each other.

People began to slowly disperse, so I closed myself off from the announcements. I don't remember what happened to the winners after that. Too much was going on; I can't multitask. I turned to Luhan.

"That was amazing! Even though we didn't win," I giggled, but he was still looking at the stage, "I kind of want that wreath though. It's beautiful."

I did, the color of the poinsettia flowers were so opaque, that it looked like the red was going to overflow and bleed. It was... That one word... Pulchritudinous.

Luhan looked at me and then turned to run off into the poinsettia field. The place was dimly lit.

"Luhan! You can't just take those, what if they see? Luhan, it's okay."

"Poinsettias are common flowers and I'm sure they'd gladly die for you." He didn't look up and continued to pick off the flowers from their beds.

"Luhan..."

He walked to a corner and started weaving together the stems and leaves. I watched.

"Luhan...?"

He continued to weave it together, making sure it won't fall apart.

"Luhan."

He looked up at me and smiled his crescent moon smile. "Here!" He placed the wreath on top of my head. I stared at him , wide eyed. "What do I look like?" I asked. I fumbled out of the darkness and walked under the streetlights.

"Look here!" He took out his phone.

"Look!"

I smiled towards the camera, one hand holding the wreath.

"Wah! Let me see!" I continued grinning as I skipped towards Luhan, but he held his phone high up into the air.

"You can't see, I won't let you!"

"What, why?"

"Because I want this picture all for myself."

I frowned and pouted. It was alright, but what if I looked really stupid in that picture? I was never photogenic.

"Because you looked amazing."

I dropped my head, allowing my hair to sway in front of my face, enveloping my features, just in case.

"You are a really precious person, you know?"

I looked up and tweaked my head towards him. "Precious?"

"Yes, you are a... Perfect being. I am jealous."

I smiled softly, pulling my features back. I've smiled so much tonight that my face was sore from the laughter. "Thank you."

I gazed downwards, grazing my foot against the red brick road. "Thank you, for coming to my cafe, for drinking my coffee, for chatting with me, and of course for taking me here tonight. I haven't been to an amusement park in ages, and today I was so happy. So thank you." I told him, looking up occasionally, but it was difficult. "I think that if you would do such things to help and comfort a person, there would be no reason for you to be jealous of me! I should be jealous of you." I grinned, eyes closed. It's late, and once I closed my eyes, it felt like it was all a dream that I was returning to.

Luhan embraced me with his arms and squeezed me awkwardly tight. I popped open my eyes, and stared at the gleaming and sparkling streetlight in front of me.

"Are you? Do you want what I have?" He asked me.

"Ah..."

I continued to stare at the streetlight. Luhan’s head began to rest heavily on my left shoulder.

"Xiumin, Minseok, you can have what I have if you want it." He rocked slightly, forward and backward.

"Well... I don't really-"

"You can have me too."

He continued to rock, back and forth, back and forth, very, very slightly. Perhaps I was just a little light headed as well. A bit dizzy and out of it.

"Minseok, will you go out with me?"

I was a bit too dreamy, that I began to see speckles of the light emanating from the streetlight, and more and more of it. Until my vision blurred and I realized my eyes were wet and my cheek was stained by just one drop of a tear that rolled down to my chin, which was resting on Luhan’s shoulder.

I mistakenly took a shaky breath and Luhan pulled back immediately. His brows were up and furrowed, his lips were opened, about to talk, and his eyes looked like round, glass marbles.

"Please, forgive me!" He shuddered.

"No, no it's not that," I mumbled, "just a bit, overwhelmed."

Luhan was a considerate person, he knew what was right, and what was wrong. He could see in the eyes of others, even if it doesn't seem like that’s the case. But he is, and he is smart, and he has manners. He knows how things go. He does the right things. It's just that sometimes, social standards do not apply to personal situations.

"Let's go home." He smiled. But it wasn't an eye smile. It looked real, he looked sincere, but I knew it was not a true smile, because there was not even one glimmer in the corner of his eye. But I let it go, it was okay. Tonight has been long enough, and good enough. Though the least I could do was give him an answer.

We continued to walk out from the original entrance. It was silent, dull, and scary most of all. Looking forward, I stretched out my fingers and sought out with the eyes of my hands, his hand, and held on the the tips of his fingers, from the nails up and upwards, but never too far.

Yes, hate me. It's okay. I haven't updated ANYTHING in WEEKS but I was SO BUSY and SO TIRED I DON'T EVEN AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH.

Okay. I'm okay.

Well good news is that I won the first place prize at the New York City Science and Engineering Fair and this was only my partner and I's first year! So woohoo!

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! Did it end a bit sad? Tell me your opinions~ ; u ; This story is, afterall, fluff and angst.

I'm on my spring break now so I'll try my best to update, but I don't write my stories with a super defined plot so I'm not really sure what to put next.

Also I want to apologize for my crazy tense changes, but please, just bear with me. I love y'all.

Aaaaannnnd also are you guys like up to date with the whole Taohun craze? This is my reaction to them:
