Joon slowly pushed the door and he let Hyosung entered the spa first. They smiled at the receptionist in green uniform who

 

warmly greeted them. As expected, the spa was full with women who wanted to get the treatment there.

 

“I give you half an hour. Dont be late..!” Joon whispered to her in warning tone.

 

“I know! I know! I promise!” she said as she handed her discount card to the receptionist. After a couple of minutes, another

staff asked Hyosung to follow her.

 

“See ya!” she waved her hands excitedly while Joon just playfully rolled his eyes at her.  Luckily they were also few guys there

so he didn’t feel that awkward. So he went to wash his hair as suggested by Hyosung before he decided to get out from there

since those women kept on glancing and staring at him.

 

He went to the nearest cafe and ordered iced Americano while waiting for Hyosung. 30 minutes passed and she still didn’t show

up. He took out his phone, looking at his contact list and gently touched the dialling icon.

 

“Hi babe”

 

“Joonie..how you’re doing?” a girl voice can be heard at the of the line.

 

“Great..you?”

 

“I’m doing fine...Joon, Joon..you don’t have to call me everyday ya know..” she laughed.

 

“Why?” he quickly asked her back.

 

“Don’t blame me if you have to spend a lot on phone bill” she giggled.

 

“I don’t care. I’m a doctor, just like you. I can pay the bills. I just miss you” he sincerely said.

 

“Well, we can meet again in a month from now. Don’t forget to mark your calendar and start your countdown”

 

“What?!!” he asked again in disbelief.

 

“I’m coming back next month. I will be on holiday for a week”  she carefully explained.

 

“Can’t wait to see you babe!” he paused. “One week is fine as long as I get to see your face. It has been 6 months I haven’t met

you” he continued.

 

“Me too. I miss you. A lot.” She smiled.

 

“I know. I know” he felt relief to the fact he might be able to meet his girlfriend soon.

 

“Btw, what are you doing right now?”

 

“Waiting for someone t o get her treatment at the spa”

 

“Wow..i didn’t know that Hyosung is someone who will go the feminine place like that” she playfully joked.

 

“Hahha..you’re not alone. I was surprised too!” he laughed. His mind suddenly pictured about how Hyosung persuaded him to

accompany her. He shook his head.

 

“Oh gaw! I feel so great! You should try it too next time! Everything is just so great..the fresh air, calming aromatherapy and the

best part is the massage! I feel like staying in there forever!” Hyosung suddenly showed up from nowhere with a satisfaction

smile plastered on her face.

 

“Opps..you’re on the phone! Sorry!” she politely apologized as she sat on the chair.

 

“Never mind” Joon calmly raised hand.

 

“Who is it? Minah?” she curiously asked. Joon nodded his head.

 

“Say hi to her” Hyosung grinned. Joon nodded his head once again. 5 minutes after that, he hanged up the call and put his phone

on the table.

 

“I feel so relax and calm in there. Seriously, you should try it too!” her excitement has not died yet. Joon pretended not to listen

to her and started to play with his phone again.

 

“Joon..I’m truly sorry” she looked down, too scared to look at him as she knew that Joon was mad at her breaking their

promise.

 

“I told you 30 minutes, right? What time is it now? What takes you so long?” he raised his voice, feeling irritated. Hyosung just

shut , biting her lips. She realized that was totally her fault. She’s been in there for about 2 hours. If she were Joon,

she might be mad too.

 

“I’m sorry, okay?” she broke the silence among them.

 

“You had fun in there and I look like a fool waiting for you here” he lowered his tone this time.

 

“I know its my fault. Just say what you want, i will do it for you..” she begged.

 

“Give back my 2 hours, can you?” Joon stared at her.

 

“Hmmm think again Joon...your 2 hours didn’t get wasted just like that..you talked to Minah, right?” she grinned.

 

“Okay, you win!” he surrendered. Totally forgot what Hyosung did to him as he felt overwhelmed with the fact that Minah is

coming back in a month.

Today was another busy yet exciting day for Hyosung.  Chief Kim has ordered her and few nurses to go to an elementary

school in Jamshil so students there can get the treatments for free. This was one of the Social Corporate Responsibility

programmes held by Seoul Woman University Hospital for every single year.

 

She smiled once she arrived there as it reminded her about her blissful childhood days. She could see happy faces of the 

students even though some of them were clearly quiet anxious seeing her in white uniform as she walked passed them. A female

teacher welcomed her and nurses and leaded the way to the treatment room. And surprisingly, there was also another male

doctor who arrived earlier than them.

 

“Hi..I’m Jonghyun. Lee Jonghyun” he introduced himself to her as he held out his hand.

 

“Oh..Jeon Hyosung..” she smiled pleasantly and shook his hand. ‘Wow..what a good looking face!’ her heart naughtily

whispered. ‘But wait! I think I saw him before’ she wriggled her eyebrows. ‘Nah..maybe it is just me’ she shooed away her

thought as she took several forms handed by a nurse.

 

“Your face seems familiar..I think i’ve met you before this” Jonghyun playfully said as he helped the nurses to prepare treatment

utensils.

 

“Huh?” Hyosung who was filling up the some requisite forms suddenly looked at him, puzzled as she did think about the same

thing.

 

“Yup..that elevator incident..your phone and..haa!! some cursing..” he said boldly.

 

“Oh! Thats right!” she pointed her finger at him. Of course she remembered it. That incident nearly broke her beloved phone.

That night at home she kept gently the back of her phone that that scratches will gone. Yet, she did not take notice of

how was he looked like because she was in hurry.

 

“Doctor Jeon...” he formally called her name since she looked like she was spacing out.

 

“Ahh..sorry..” she felt embarrassed, her cheeks blushed in pink. Jonghyun gave him another pleasant smile to her.

 

“And it is not only that...” he paused while Hyosung was curiously looking at him.

 

“We were in the same class, in our third year. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery class.” he explained.

 

“Haa...I remember that..! Well, ya know I was thinking about the same thing..I got the feeling that I’ve met you

somewhere..haha” she felt amused meeting her ex-classmates from her university. Jonghyun just let a small laugh. ‘Another

unexpected meeting’ she thought.

 

Both of them took their seat respectively after they could see students already queued up, waiting nervously for their turns. Both

Hyosung and Jonghyun shared some stories about themselves throughout the treatment session. According to Jonghyun, he’s

currently working at dentist clinic at Seoul. He volunteered to come to this school today as his friend is one of the teachers here

told him about it.

 

After treatment session, they held a talk at school hall followed by Q and A session. Their programmes ended around 4:30 pm.

Hyosung thanked her nurses for their cooperation and good effort to ensure this programme went smoothly.

 

Hyosung was ready to get into her car when Jonghyun stopped his car and blew his horn. She turned around and she saw he

raised his hands at her. She carefully made her away and stood near his car.

 

“Thank you for today.. I might die handling all those students alone”

 

“My pleasure. Btw, may I have your phone number? Maybe we can have coffee..when you’re free” he handed her his phone.

 

“Yes sure..” Hyosung took it and carefully inserted her number.

 

“I’m glad to see you today...I can’t believe I met you again after years.”

 

“Me too.. .What a coincidence!” she claimed.

 

“Coincidence? Hmm...I hope not” he smiled again, showing his deep visible dimples as he drove his car, leaving Hyosung puzzled.
