Sungyeol and Woohyun waited outside of the hospital for a taxi. It was the afternoon now; the hospital let Sungyeol go. Woohyun was happy that he could take Sungyeol out now. He was happy that their social circle wasn’t very large. There was no one that Woohyun could think of that moment that knew about Sungyeol, Myungsoo, and Woohyun. Sungyeol was the only person he’d have to lie to.

            As they waited at the curb, Woohyun stood there next to Sungyeol, staring at his hand in Sungyeol’s. Sungyeol was such a cold person. No wonder he loved the warm comfort of coffee. He held onto Sungyeol’s hand tighter, hoping to transfer his body heat to Sungyeol.

            Woohyun wished to hold Sungyeol in his arms at that moment, but he didn’t know if he should. He didn’t know if he even could. As he waited for the taxi to finally come, he looked up at Sungyeol, who was staring out at the street, looking for the car that would take them home.

            “Sungyeol?”

            Sungyeol look back at Woohyun and smiled. “Yes?”

            “You know where we’re going right?”

            Sungyeol laughed, as if Woohyun’s question was meant to be rhetorical and not be answered.

            “Of course I know! We’re going to our house Myunggie! The doctor said I didn’t wake up with any brain problems. I don’t know why you keep asking me if I remember stuff.”

            Woohyun smiled, but he felt as if his heart was cracking again. Sungyeol truly forgot all about him.

            The couple was relieved when the taxi came by; they didn’t know how much longer it would take before the two of them froze to death. Sungyeol gave the driver their address and sat back in his seat. As he held Woohyun’s hand, he felt the elder shiver. Sungyeol immediately pulled his arm over Woohyun and moved him so Woohyun was snuggled against his chest. He felt funny. Myungsoo usually wouldn’t let me do this. Myungsoo almost never shivered.

            The truth was that Sungyeol forgot what Myungsoo looked like. He remembered exactly what Myungsoo acted like though. He remembered how the two of them met, how they confessed to each other, and almost every single day that they were together. When Sungyeol had woken up, he hadn’t recognized anyone, but the face that he first saw when he woke up was one he knew that he knew. The eyes he looked into when he woke up from his coma were eyes that were filled with pure love. He felt bad for not recognizing Myungsoo, but he knew that Myungsoo loved him. The person in his arms right now, must be Myungsoo right? It explains the love that Sungyeol feels right now, but it doesn’t explain why it doesn’t feel right.

            He heard soft breathing against his body and looked down to see Woohyun sleeping. Sungyeol smiled and changed his mind. He held Woohyun closer to his body and rested his head onto Woohyun’s. This may not feel right…but it feels better than it did before.

            “Hey…wake up, we’re here Myunggie.”

            Woohyun opened his eyes to see Sungyeol’s face extremely close to his. His face starts to flush and as he fully woke up, he realizes that he was in Sungyeol’s arms.

            Sungyeol chuckled at his lover’s reaction. He didn’t remember Myungsoo being this cute and adorable. He didn’t remember a time when his boyfriend blushed this much in one day; nevertheless, he loved it. He felt more loved than he ever did before.

            The two of them got out of the taxi and headed up to the elevator to go inside their apartment.

            Sungyeol and Myungsoo had been living together for a few months. While Sungyeol was in the hospital, however, no one lived in the apartment. Woohyun was worried about how it would seem. Would be too messy? Would it be obvious that no one had lived in it for a while? Will it be too cold?

            As they reached the seventh floor, where Sungyeol and Myungsoo’s apartment was, Woohyun felt himself break into a sweat. He was a complete idiot. There were probably pictures of Myungsoo in the apartment! Though Myungsoo’s family had no idea about his relationship with Sungyeol, what if they suddenly decided to visit their son? What would happen if Sungyeol’s parents visited and he introduced Woohyun as Myungsoo?

            Woohyun was a nervous wreck as Sungyeol led them to their apartment door.

            “It’s like you were the one who was in a coma and forgot everything Myunggie! How could you forget our apartment number?” Sungyeol joked. He laughed as he dragged Woohyun across the hallway.

            Woohyun chuckled wearily and stood in front of the door with Sungyeol. He watched carefully as Sungyeol pushed in the pin number. He laughed in his mind bitterly. Sungyeol could remember a four number pin, but he couldn’t remember who his best friend was.

            The pin to the apartment was 0313. Woohyun felt guilty as he walked behind Sungyeol into the apartment. 03/13 is Myungsoo’s birthday. Woohyun knew then that he would never be able to forget the lie that he was living. He felt guilty towards Myungsoo as Sungyeol pushed him to the bedroom and put his arm around him. Woohyun didn’t deserve Sungyeol. Sungyeol didn’t deserve such a liar.

            But Woohyun knew he couldn’t get out of this lie. He felt Sungyeol’s lips on his and felt himself drown in Sungyeol’s love. He was too addicted.

OTL i don't know whether to rate it or not. i'd be totally fine if my mother read it. she thinks i'm weird enough anyway lol
