I'm Living A Lie

Sungyeol smiled and broke Woohyun’s heart again. “I love you too Myunggie!”

Woohyun looked at him and faked a smile.

Sungyeol looked at him innocently and suddenly leaned in towards Woohyun for a kiss. He closed his eyes and waited for the other to lean in as well.

Woohyun felt his heart stop. What was he supposed to do? This was what he’s been wanting since he first saw Sungyeol. He couldn’t believe he was about to do this. He knew this was wrong, but he couldn’t stop himself. Woohyun leaned over to Sungyeol and put his lips on his.

They were as sweet as Woohyun had always dreamed they were. He felt himself move closer to Sungyeol on the hospital bed. He felt himself run his fingers through Sungyeol’s hair. He was addicted; he couldn’t get enough.

He felt Sungyeol’s hands in his own hair and felt him push up against Woohyun. Woohyun thought that he couldn’t control himself any longer. He gasped as he felt Sungyeol’s cold hand reach under his shirt. Sungyeol’s tongue was soon in his mouth, exploring the hot cavern. When Woohyun heard Sungyeol give out a soft moan, Woohyun pushed himself away. He couldn’t continue anymore.

This was wrong. He wasn’t Myungsoo. Sungyeol just got out of a coma too. But when he looked at the pouty Sungyeol that was practically underneath him, he didn’t know what to do.

“Myunggie? Is something wrong? It’s because I just woke up right? I’m sorry I was so reckless. You’re driving from now on alright? I promise to be safe from now on!”

Woohyun couldn’t bring himself to tell Sungyeol the truth; he just couldn’t. He loved Sungyeol too much to give this up.

Woohyun smiled at Sungyeol and caressed his hair. “Sungyeol… I love you.”

“Oh, I love you too Myungsoo!”

Woohyun turned away from Sungyeol to wipe away a tear. I’ll pretend to be Myungsoo…if that’s what it takes for you to love me.

The next day, Woohyun woke up laying next to Sungyeol’s hand. He smiled when he watched Sungyeol stir in his sleep. He loved waking up and seeing Sungyeol next to him. Myungsoo was the luckiest man ever. He sat up and tried to fix his hair. He got up and left to go to the bathroom and freshen up. He wanted to look perfect in front of Sungyeol.

After he finished cleaning up, he walked to the cafeteria to get Sungyeol a coffee. He was happy to know that he would be able to take Sungyeol home today. He didn’t know where to take him though. Should he take him to Sungyeol and Myungsoo’s house? Or should he take him to his house? He didn’t know what to do. He was starting to think he should just tell Sungyeol the truth, but after seeing Sungyeol’s eyes light up every time he saw him, he just couldn’t. The day before, he forgot a lot of times that Sungyeol was talking to him when he said “Myunggie” or “Myungsoo”. It seemed like “Woohyun” was erased from Sungyeol’s mind completely. This saddened Woohyun. He was Sungyeol’s best friend since they were children and he didn’t even remember how he looked. All he thought about was Myungsoo.

He opened Sungyeol’s door and smiled when he saw that the younger was still asleep. He put the coffee on the table next to Sungyeol, hoping it stayed hot until he woke up. He was extremely grateful to the nurse that allowed him to stay overnight. He was happy to listen to Sungyeol talk and giggle all night, and he was relaxed hearing Sungyeol’s light breathing next to him while he slept.

A few minutes after watching Sungyeol sleep, his eyes finally started to flutter open. When his eyes landed on Woohyun, he smiled.

“Myunggie… You’re still here.”

Woohyun felt a pressure behind his eyes. He clenched his fists, trying to not tear up again. He knew this was wrong. He should just tell Sungyeol the truth already. But he just couldn’t. Woohyun smiled and scooted closer to his love.

“Of course… I’d never leave you.”

Sungyeol giggled and sat up in the hospital bed. He reached over and took Woohyun’s hand in his. Woohyun felt his heart beat faster and his face flush up. Sungyeol noticed this and blushed as well. He looked down at their intertwined fingers.

“Myunggie, since when were you so greasy?”

Woohyun felt his heart suddenly stop. This was the problem. Although Woohyun loved Sungyeol as much as Myungsoo did, if not even more, he didn’t know what Myungsoo was like with Sungyeol when they were alone. He was worried that Sungyeol would see through his pathetic ruse.

He heard Sungyeol laugh softly and looked up away from their hands.

“I like it.”

Woohyun sighed in relief. He moved closer to the table and handed Sungyeol his coffee. He beamed as Sungyeol’s eyes lit up. He’s so beautiful, he thought. Woohyun wanted to hug Sungyeol again. He wanted to kiss him and never let him go. He wondered about how long he would be pretending. Could he seriously keep pretending to be Myungsoo for the rest of his life? How many times was he going to lie to Sungyeol, just to feel the love he had been craving from him? How much was he going to hide from Sungyeol? Sungyeol wasn’t stupid. He’d find out eventually…wouldn’t he?

Woohyun saw Sungyeol stare at him while drinking his coffee and smiled.

I love you, he mouthed out to him.

Anyways! next chapter is going to be a LITTLE rated >< just the beginning and b/c of the poll, not too many details. it's like three sentences OTL
