Did you ever wonder what happened to Yonghwa and Seohyun's little house after WGM ended?
Well...
It's Sunday night and Seohyun walked into the her small but cozy apartment.
She slipped in through the door and the light to be greeted by her yellow couch, and her small kitchen.
Seohyun padded towards the kitchen counter to get a drink of water when she saw that there was a bowl and a spoon already in the sink.
The corners of her lips curled upwards. Someone was here.
As she walked towards the bedroom door, Seohyun's heart pounded in her ears as it always did when she thought of him.
She hesistated to opened the door and took a deep breath to calm herself. She didn't want to be disappointed if he wasn't there.
But the thought of seeing him overjoyed her and she mustered up the courage and turned the doorknob slowly.
She let the door open no more than a few inches and peeked in.
She couldn't help but sigh. Seohyun stepped in and let the door click shut behind her.
"I was scared you weren't going to be in here." Seohyun took a breath of relief.
A figure sat up from a lying position on the bed in the dark. "Of course I would be here. I told you I would."
"I know." Seohyun said and tucked her loose hair behind her right ear.
"Now, are you just going to stand there and keep me waiting?" The figure asked with his arms open wide.
Seohyun cocked her head to the side and replied, "Well, you can come over here if you'd like. Or better, you can come outside so I can cook us something to eat."
With that, she opened the door and strided to the fridge and poked her head inside the fridge door.
The figure in the dark chuckled softly. "Bold, as usual."
The figure got up and slowly shuffled towards where Seohyun was. He leaned against he counter as she started to chop some tofu and potatoes.
Seohyun could feel his gaze fixed on her face as she chopped away.
"Will you stop looking at me like that? I feel embarrassed." She slightly turned her face away from him, flushed red.
But the figure only leaned in closer towards her. "But I like looking at you."
"Mmm. Cheesy, as usual." She pointed out, making him smile.
"Fine, I'll wait for you on the couch." He sauntered towards the yellow couch a few feet away from the kitchen and got comfortable.
He stared at her back profile as he watched her cook.
He always thought that Seohyun looked the prettiest in their apartment.
However, he wished that Seohyun would permit a little more than hand holding.
Now, he wasn't asking for too much. But they've been together for almost three years now, and they've only held hands and hugged a few times.
He knew he was her first and in so many ways, she was his first.
He only wanted things to go a little faster.
By the time he was done thinking about the status of his relationship with Seohyun, she was done chopping and all the ingredients were in the water being cooked.
She strolled to the couch where he seemed to be sleeping and sat next to him but there was always that little space between them. A very small space, but enough to drive him crazy.
A few seconds after she sat down, Seohyun gasped, as if she forgot something and stood up.
Well, at least she thought she was standing up.
At first, seohyun didn't know what happened.
She got up because she forgot to add the potatoes in the soup and the next thing she knew, she was back on the couch.
Back on the couch... well, not exactly...
What had happened was, as she was getting up, the man she thought was sleeping grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him.
She ended up on his lap, facing him.
He then encircled her waist with his arms.
"Oppa... What-"
She was cut off.
"Hyun..." His eyes met her eyes and saw into her soul.
She was too baffled to say anything. She had trouble looking at his face so close, probably because her face was on fire.
"Hyun... You know, I'm a man, too." He slowly spoke.
She felt mesmerized by his voice. "O-of course.. That's an obvious fact.."
"And so.. like many other men out there, I like skinship, too." He pulled her a little closer to him.
Seohyun felt her mind go blank like a white sheet of paper. "Yonghwa oppa, I... I.."
"I'm not asking for anything extreme, Hyun," Yonghwa explained, "but it's been almost three years since we've been together and all we've done is some hand holding and hugging. I'm asking you for permission for us to go a little more further than that."
Seohyun cleared and tried to stabilize her voice. "Well, isn't this considered a little.. extreme?" She was referring to their current position on the couch.
Yonghwa couldn't help but chuckle at her innocence.
He leaned in closer and whispered, "Is it?"
The corners of Seohyun's lips curled down into a frown. "Don't tease me."
"Mmm.. not until you promise me to take the next step in our relationship." He smiled, almost in a smirk.
Seohyun's eyes slightly got bigger as he said those words and she tried to free herself from his grasp.
But ever since Yonghwa started working out, he became a lot more stronger. More buff, too.
He held on to his grasp on her and she only ended up closer to him than she was before. Now, they were only centimeters apart from each other and she literally went dizzy from the close proximity.
She had to give in or she would probably faint. "Okay, okay. I promise."
Yonghwa smiled his victory smile as she frowned a little.
"Now let me go before the soup burns?" She asked him.
He lifted her waist with his arms and put her down next to him in one swift motion.
She was still amazed at his strength and pouted.
He watched as her lips inched out into a pout and grinned at her cuteness.
"Why are you pouting?" He questioned as she padded back to the kitchen.
"Because you can lift me up and put me down like I'm a doll. I feel helpless." She muttered under her breath but it was loud enough for Yonghwa to hear.
Then he couldn't help it anymore. He bursted in to laughter as Seohyun became even more confused.
He stood up from the couch and walked towards her, still laughing.
Then he encircled her waist in his arms once again, but this time from the back.
Seohyun let out a surprised gasp.
"You're so cute, Hyun. You are like a doll to me. A doll customized only for me. You're mine." He whispered in her ear, sending little chills down her spine.
She wiggled a little in his arms trying to loosen the grip a little bit.
"Don't." Yonghwa tightened his grip on her. "Don't act like you don't like it, Hyun." He buried his face in her shoulder.
And it was true. Seohyun did like the feeling of him hugging her from the back. It made the butterflies in her stomach soar higher and higher each second.
But Seohyun didn't know how to express that.
"Shhh." She tried to silence him.
"Why 'shh' ?" He became confused.
"I... I can't hear the.. soup. So shhh." She realized that she didn't make any sense but she was trying so hard to stop him from making her even more embarrassed than she already was.
At first, she didn't hear anything from him so she assumed that he actually became quiet. But she felt his shoulders moving from behind her and then came the muffled laughter. It seemed like minutes til the laughter died down.
Yonghwa turned Seohyun around to face him and looked into her eyes once again. "Seo Joo Hyun, you never fail to make me smile and laugh... I love you."
At this, Seohyun couldn't help but smile, too. "And you never fail to make me embarrassed and shy. But... I love you, too."
