It was winter. Jongin was in the 9th Grade. As usual, he was just arrived at home from his daily activity smoking with his ‘dudes’. He hang his jacket on the hanger and plopped himself onto the comfortable sofa, next to his baby-faced brother,

“Welcome home, Jonginnie…” his brother greeted warmly

“Thanks, Luhannie… I’m home,” he replied then leaned his head on Luhan’s shoulder, “Who’s dropping you home this afternoon?”

Luhan blinked, “Who else?”

“Oh… Sehun, huh?” Jongin poked Luhan’s fluffy cheek, receiving a nod from the older, “And who’s in the kitchen?”

He could hear the sound of someone’s cooking in the kitchen clearly. Their mom hasn’t arrived yet and they don’t have any maid to help them cook. Luhan can’t cook, neither he is. They usually buy something from some restaurants then eat them at home or wait for their mom to arrive and cook them something. But now? Is it impossible if a ghost does some cookings?

“Guess who is it?” Luhan smirked. Jongin blinked confusedly

“Luhan! Dinner is ready!” and Jongin could know who that cooking person from his voice is

“Kyungsoo?” Jongin blinked. Being called by someone, Kyungsoo rolled his head to the caller’s direction and blushed when he realized it was Jongin

“Hey! Sorry for coming here without your permission,” Kyungsoo mumbled, holding Luhan’s hand in a shy manner

Luhan giggled softly, “I gave you permission!”

“And I won’t say no…” Jongin blurted. He was sure he saw Kyungsoo’s cheek turned into the color pink

With that, the three of them started to eat their dinner in a complete silence. Clanging sound of spoons and forks can be heard, along with the sound of TV program. Luhan was seating in the opposite direction of Jongin, while Jongin was seating besides of Kyungsoo. There are finally a time when Luhan finished his dinner first and Jongin, being a good boy he is, wanted to help Luhan washed the dishes. But then, they must be forgotten about how neat and motherly Kyungsoo is. Being a good guest he was, he started collecting all the dishes and wanted to bring them to ke sink when his hands touched with Jongin’s hands accidentally. The atmosphere turned to be an awkward one. Luhan itself wan’t helping at all, saying he has something to do in his room and went to his room instantly, leaving Jongin and Kyungsoo in a really awkward condition.

After debating for a few minutes, Jongin finally won. He washed the dishes while Kyungsoo sat on the dining table, watching him washing the dishes quietly. He never thought Kim Jongin is a good-mannered boy. Aside of his bad images, he really have a good attitude. He knows that Jongin is a smoker and a fighter too. Well everybody knows that. But then, he just realized,

He was sure of it

Feeling a little bit awkward watching the taller one like that, he pardoned himself to go home. Jongin dried his hands first before leading Kyungsoo to the front door. At first, he asked if the older one wanted a ride to his home. But as he said it was alright because his house is was near their house, Jongin can’t help but put a relieved smile. He said good night to him before closing the door and went to his and Luhan’s shared room.

“You like him,” Luhan suddenly blurted

“What?”

“You like him,”

Jongin blinked a few times before chuckled. He ruffled Luhan’s honey-colored hair before plopping himself onto his bed and setting his alarm on. Luhan tilted his head before continuing playing with his phone. Well let’s say he’s telling a ‘certain someone’ about Jongin and Kyungsoo. Asking if he could help him with the love-hanging problems of his brother. He looked at his brother’s direction, smiling as he was smiling too,

“Sehun’s saying the same as me,”

Jongin chuckled, “I know,”

Luhan smiled in amusement before turning off the lamp-table and saying a soft ‘good night’ to Jongin. Jongin replied the good night before staring at the ceiling,

“Luhan, I love him. I love Do Kyungsoo,”
