*Yamada Ryosuke’s POV*     I blinked twice trying to process what’s happening before me. The girl in front looks exactly like Rio. The way she move, the way her eyes curved and the way her favourite glasses sits perfectly on her face made her look exactly like my girlfriend – the girl who I fell in love with.   She took a few steps towards my direction until finding my body only a few meters away from her. I just couldn’t move. The sight of Rio just made me frozen from my position. I then diverted my gaze towards the sharp knife she was holding firmly, as if ready to stab me any second now.        “R-Rio… T-Thank God you’re safe…” I managed to say before feeling the urge of hugging her tight. I only took 2 steps forward when I saw her lift her hand and pointed me the sharp knife she was holding. A smirk formed on her face and immediately glared at me.   “Don’t come near me or I’ll KILL you…” she said silently which slowly torn my heart into pieces. . It was as if an evil version of my girlfriend appeared.       “Wh-What?”     -     “This is no longer Yamada Rio…” I heard a familiar voice echoing inside the room. A sudden chilly breeze crept up my neck withholding myself to get some more explanation. I just want to pull Rio close but the knife pointing towards me hindered me from doing so… “This girl is controlled by a powerful drug developed within our organisation. Her mind is controlled, manipulated and is no longer in its usual state. In short, she no longer recognise you…”       The voice continued to linger inside my head as I looked at Rio up and down. She gave off a blank expression while the Game Master spoke, as if being well-ordered by the voice. I tried to move closer once again to assure myself that this girl is still mine… but to my dismay, she tightened the grip on the knife she was holding – determined to stab me in the right moment.       “I’ll do anything you want… JUST BRING RIO BACK TO NORMAL!” I shouted towards the voice, hoping that he will heed my request. I know I just don't have a choice but to plead.       “Unfortunately, this game has only one way out… KILL HER TO SURVIVE. The question is… Can you kill a person who you consider important?” the voice answered my call but soon faded when I saw Rio coming towards my way. She took a step forward which left me no choice but to step backwards every time she steps – the knife still pointed towards my direction.       “RIO! WAKE UP! It’s me Ryosuke!!” I tried my best to wake up her senses.       “I’m here to kill you…” she said silently and ran towards me. I immediately dodged her every action as she tried to slice me using her knife. Rio forcefully stabbed the wooden furniture on my right that gave me the chance to move away from her. I now know she’s determined to kill me.       “I don’t want to hurt you Rio! Just please try to remember me!!!” I desperately called but the girl didn’t answer. Instead, she charged towards me once again before feeling a painful clutch on my chest. Seeing her trying to kill me like this is painful enough… “I’m Ryosuke! Your boyfriend! JUST PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR SENSES!!”       “I don’t know you…”      “Why do you want to kill me?”     “Because I was ordered to do so… I’m here to please my master!” she shifted her position and slowly took steps around me.       “Will you be happy if you kill me?” I took a deep breath before speaking. I’m not trying to become a hero but if giving my life is the only way to save hers, then I’m willing to do it. I looked helplessly into her eyes as if saying ‘I-Love-You’ – hoping that it will reach her. I felt silver liquid coming down my own cheeks before seeing the latter nod from my question.     Rio continued to nod and held up her knife.      By now, I know… I lost this round. I saw Rio charging on my direction before closing my eyes ready to feel a painful sensation on my stomach.       I could see my life flashing before my eyes and expected a knife burying through my skin. But then…   .   .   .   .     I felt a tingling sensation on my lips - I can feel softness pressed against mine, making a hot blush travel my cheeks. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Rio’s face so close… so close in fact, our lips were touching. I could feel her breath moistening my mouth which gave me the urge to pull her closer.       Rio then travelled to my ears and whispered: “Happy Monthsary baby…” she giggled that made my eyes widen. I then felt my knees shaking, making my down the ground in an instant.       She… She planned ALL this??!!         “Y-YOU??!! Y-You’re the Game Master?” I tried my best to speak, fighting take off the large block in my voice box – still shocked about what’s happening… “T-Then who’s the one speaking?"     “Hehe~ maybe? I pre-recorded myself earlier…” she giggled then sat down beside me on the floor… “You angry??”       “WHAT ANGRY?! I’M FURIOUS!!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID?! YOU NEARLY KILLED US ALL! YOU EVEN DARE TO MAKE ME WORRY ABOUT YOU ALL THIS TIME!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW THAT KILLS ME? I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD… I THOUGHT YOU WERE COOKED ALIVE BY THAT FREAK!!” I shouted and lectured her with all my might. All my frustrations came out almost in one breath and saw her biting her lower lip as I speak. She then looked down as if feeling guilty but I just looked at her, waiting for some more explanations…          “B-But… I never intend to kill anyone. Those electric shocks were mild! They're even used in experiments to test negative reinforcement to human beings..." I heard her explain... I know Rio took psychology a few years ago but I never thought she'll use it like this!
