"Okay, everyone. We have an announcement," my mom cheers.
My siblings and I just continue what we're doing and kind of ignoring what our parents are saying. My mom and dad were standing in front of us. I read my book carefully.
"You're father and I decided... to adopt Luhan. We just signed the papers. He is officially your brother," my mother exclaims.
"Yay! Is that it?" Sulli fake celebrates.
"Nope. We have also decided to take a vacation at a ski resort in the mountains," my dad says plainly.
"Awesome!" Jaesun yells.
"What about school?" I ask.
"Don't we have spring break?" Sulli blurts.
"Yup. That's why this is a good time," my mom says.
I sigh.  My parents, Sulli, and Jaesun were partying while Luhan and I were quiet and continue what we're doing.
"You guys aren't excited? This trip was a celebration for Luhan," my mom says.
I look at Luhan's stiff face and rolled my eyes.
"I am. Thank you auntie," Luhan says.
"Nope. You have to call me "Umma" now," my mom emphasized.
Luhan nods. I giggle. Then Luhan gives me a face. I hit his arm lightly. He hits me back, and we start another fight.
