Sunflower
Description
They parted ways five years ago. What was once a perfect relationship ended in something less than perfect.
Five years on, they meet again. They’re the same yet completely different.
Whether it’s fate or coincidence, only God knows. But that’s just the way life works.
Foreword
Of all places, I see him here. Out of all the possible places to see him in Seoul, he’s here. He looks the same, but yet the air around him is different. He looks familiar but the feel is not.
It has been five years, he’s not mine anymore.
“It’s been a long time Joohyun,” he says with that same voice from years ago. And I can’t help the memories from years past from bubbling forward.
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.
