It had already been a month since you had been away and Donghae was just starting to accept your absence. It didn’t really bother him because he was just counting down the days till you came back. He looked forward to your morning texts because even those little messages made his long days seem worth it. Every time you would send a smiley face he could picture you smiling at him, he could hear your voice with every “I love you”, and every little heart made him eager to kiss you. He finally understood why people say that long distant relationships have the deepest bonds. Every time he thought of you made him realize that he loved you more than before.

This morning Donghae woke up to check his phone and was a little disappointed when saw that there was no text from you. Getting worried, he checked his e-mail and saw that you had sent him a video. He opened the video and pressed play.

“Hey babe! Listen, I miss you so much! I can’t even believe that I’ve gone an entire month without seeing you…do you think I could last another? Haha…Just kidding...kind of… Anyway, I…I’m just gonna say it. My grandmother had to get surgery a few days ago and they said that she was fine, but they’re still a little scared to release her from the hospital until her breathing gets back to normal. I’m really worried for her and I can’t leave without knowing she’s okay…I’m gonna stay here for another month. I’m really sorry. I’ll try to come back to you as soon as possible. I promise…Love you….bye.”

 Donghae’s face dropped as he shut the screen. He felt like someone had punched him in the chest. He knew it was only another month but he was so looking forward to seeing you in a couple of days and he couldn’t help but feel extremely lonely. He dragged himself to the bathroom to get ready for work as he knew it would be a long day. And that it was. The director would not give him a break because he showed no emotions when he was shooting scenes but Donghae just ignored his comments till it was time for his break. His heart was just not there and there was nothing anybody could do to raise his spirits. But nonetheless, Seung Ah still tried her best.

The two had gotten extremely close over the past month and it had gotten to the point where they would often text each other and where skinship was not very uncommon. They had to get extremely close and become used to skin contact since they played love interests but behind the scene, Donghae and Seung Ah were becoming very good friends. He felt as though he could talk to her as if she were one of s. They knew each other by now and Seung Ah knew something was really bothering Donghae. She came up behind the depressed man and wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder.

“What’s wrong fishie?”

“Nothing. Just out of it.”

“Why? What happened?” She then sat next to him and wrapped both of her arms around his well toned one.

He ignored her closeness and just sighed. “Not a good morning.”

“You shouldn’t let that get in the way of work though.”

This made him a little angry. “You wouldn’t even understand.”

“Wanna try me? I bet my morning was way worse than yours.”

“How?”

“My boyfriend just broke up with me after a 2 year relationship.”

Donghae’s mood suddenly changed as he started to feel sorry for Seung Ah. “What? But why?”

“He left me for another girl. Some chick he met at the bar.”

“But you’re so beautiful and you’re such a great person. You’re everything. Why would he even end it?...Oh my god…Are you okay?”

She smiled as he complimented her. “I’m fine I guess. I can’t say that I’m not hurt but I’m not gonna let this ruin my life…I know I have to move on and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t already have someone in mind.”

“You’re stronger than you look. I don’t know what I’d do if my girl ever left me.”

“You both are still together? I assumed you two were taking a break from each other.”

“No. We’re still going strong. But it is getting harder since we’re not physically together at the moment.”

Seung Ah’s mood suddenly changed and she was forcing a smile as Donghae started to talk about you. She couldn’t help but get a little mad whenever he talked so highly about you. The way his face lit up and they way he smiled…she wanted to be the reason for all of that. She soon snapped out of it when they both heard their names being called.

It was one of the final romance scenes between their two characters and it was their final kiss scene. As usual, the scene had its flaws and they had to go over it multiple times till the director was pleased. And as usual, Donghae was scolded for every little thing. He sighed and ignored him and continued the scene. It came to the last few seconds and their characters were supposed to engage in a steamy kiss before the scene would black out. Donghae slowly hovered his lips over Seung Ah’s but before he could place his lips on hers, she had already taken the initiative and gave him a full on kiss. He was shocked but kissed her back quickly to make it look like it was a part of the script. The kiss lasted longer than any of their other ones and by the time the director yelled cut, Donghae was panting for air. He gave her a weird look but she just giggled. He decided to wait till they were clear before asking her what that was all about. And he got his chance while he was walking her to her car.

“Seung Ah…what was with that kiss? I was supposed to kiss you; you weren’t supposed to pounce on me.”

She tried to act innocent as she bat her long eyelashes. “Mianhae. It’s just that you were just taking too long and with me kissing you like that it made the entire scene more steamy and believable. Isn’t that what the director is always asking for?”

“But…”

“Donghae…It was just a kiss. Relax.” She laughed at him in a flirting manner and got in her car and drove off.

Donghae didn’t want things to get complicated between the two and for the rest of the week he kept his distance from her.

During the weekend, Donghae was feeling extremely down due to the fact that it was the day where you were supposed to come home. He planned to spend the entire day lazing around in his misery but Eunhyuk couldn’t let his best friend be like that. So Eunhyuk dragged him out of the apartment around 8 and they both went to a nearby club. At first Donghae wasn’t in the mood for all of the music but after a two shots he started to ease up. Eunhyuk had left Donghae to go and dance and so Donghae just sat in his seat. He was watching the people on the dance floor with his drink in hand until he spotted someone who took his breath away. It was a girl dancing all by herself in an extremely y manner. She was wearing a little black dress and 5 inch stilettos with her hair in a messy bun. It was simple yet incredible y on her, especially with her well developed curves. He watched her hips sway with every beat and looked up to finally get a glimpse of her face. It was Seung Ah.

He froze as he watched his friend. Seung Ah soon noticed the man staring at her and smirked to herself. She casually made her way to sit next to Donghae and she greeted him by stealing his drink from his hand and drinking it herself.

“Hey there handsome.”

Donghae was still like a statue, which made her smirk grow even bigger. She took this as her opportunity to get even closer with the singer.

“Don’t think I haven’t noticed you ignoring me all week. You hurt my feelings Donghae.”

“Mi…mianhae. I didn’t mean to…it’s just….ummm….how can I make it up to you?”

She let out a small giggle as she ran her hand over his. “Dance with me.”

He hesitantly nodded. He knew he would never say yes because he was constantly thinking about you but somewhere in the back of his mind, someone was pushing him to go. And he did. The 2 made their way to the middle of the dance floor and they started to move their bodies in sync. And with that, one thing led to another. From y dancing to all the way to the drink bar where she had convinced Donghae to let her buy him a few drinks. Suddenly, all of the alcohol was getting to him and he was getting drunk. The room was spinning and all he could hear was Seung Ah’s voice. And out of nowhere he found himself kissing her. It started out slow but it soon heated up and they were both panting as they moved to his car. Not thinking straight, he drove them both to the apartment where they continued their heavy make out session. It soon escalated to hands roaming all over, stumbling bodies up the stairs and pretty soon clothes being discarded. It was all happening too fast and Donghae couldn’t think straight. The last thing he remembered was laying Seung Ah on his bed before everything went completely blank.
