“What do you mean I have to work with him?”

“Donghae, just calm down-”

“How can I calm down when a star is going to be in my movie?”

“He is your co-star so-”

“I don’t want that near me!”

Donghae fumed toward his manager as he stomped away to the food table. His eyes were glaring down and angrily picked up a crunchy orange carrot trying to avoid the donuts since it would only make Donghae gain weight. He worked way too hard to keep his chiseled body. He had to keep his bulky figure that made all women of all ages go insane with need. All of his muscles would go to waste if he starts eating fatty food. Those glazed pastries should be illegal on the set. 

The actor chewed down the carrot with a crunch. A frustrated look was upon his handsome face . He was grumbling incoherent curse words. The stage hands just stared at the man eating his carrot with weird looks as Donghae started to tap his feet and bite the vegetable violently. He was pissed no doubt and he was putting all his anger on the orange food.

How could they do this to me? Couldn’t they get someone else? They could have hired someone experienced. They just had to hire him. Donghae was already at his third carrot munching on it quickly. He grabbed an apple and rubbed it on his suit, out of habit, before taking a bite. He glared at a plate of brownies hating the fact it was taunting him with their soft exterior.

Donghae wasn’t even done with his whole apple when he threw it into the trash bin. He left three bite marks into it not caring if he could have eaten some more. He picked up another red apple and was about to bite into it until his damn male co-star interrupted him.

“Whoa, you must be hungry,” Lee Hyukjae smiled wide showing he was just being friendly. He picked up a brownie and chewed on it slowly. Donghae glared at the sweet treat. “Oh sorry, I’m being rude,” Hyukjae finished his brownie quickly and stuck his hand out. “I’m Lee Hyukjae but goes with the stage name Eunhyuk.”

The other male just looked at the blond male’s hand and went back to eating his apple. His brown eyes were looking straight at a blank wall finding it interesting than the man beside him. He tried to ignore the star not wanting to have any contact with someone like him. Hyukjae frowned a little and felt a bit nervous. The blonde’s hand fell to his side. Donghae didn’t care.

“Well, it’s nice to meet you Lee Donghae. I’m a fan of your dramas,” Hyukjae wanted to make a conversation. So far though, he was failing miserably. He started to squirm fixing his leather jacket and looked down at his red converse shoes. He didn’t know what else to do or what to say to make the drama prince talk to him. 

Donghae was carefully looking out at the corner of his eye watching his co-star fidget. He thought it was weird that someone like Lee Hyukjae, a successful star, could be so nervous. Doesn’t a person like him have big egos or something? The actor thought that Hyukjae might of start talking about how many women he banged or something along those lines. Is he even a star?

Did I do something wrong? Hyukjae kept moving about shaking one of his right legs. He bit his bottom lip, one of his habits when he’s nervous but everyone else thought it was because to look ier. In truth, Hyukjae was far from being nervous, he was afraid. It’s hard for him to talk with others always waiting for someone else to start the conversation.

“Um, well it’s nice meeting you,” Hyukjae politely spoke. “I’m just going to go…” The blonde male bowed a little and left to see the set. Donghae grumbled but the other was already too far to hear.

He must be the wrong guy. He can’t be a damn star. Donghae watched at the blonde male was talking to one of the crew members about a chair or something since he was pointing at it. The drama prince couldn’t help but glare. Who does he think he is talking to me like that?

Donghae let out a small snarl as he was furiously trudging off to his dressing room wanting to forget his talk with Hyukjae. Well, they didn’t really talk or anything because Hyukjae did all the talking while Donghae just stood there eating his round fruit. The actor started to chew obnoxiously trying to show off but he didn't know why.

When the drama prince did get in his dressing room, he took off his suit jacket and tossed it into his open closet not really bothering to hang it up properly. He was way too upset at the moment. “He thinks he can be an actor? What does he know? It’s not like he can go far anyways...”

With a sigh escaping his pink lips, Donghae sat on his comfy couch with a slouch. His arms were crossed over his chest with a pout. His eyebrows furrowed as he started to think about his acting career. He needed this movie to be successful or else everything he had worked for will be a waste. Donghae had spent pretty much his whole life for this. Hyukjae should just-

“Donghae, the director needs to talk to you,” his manager’s voice was heard at the other side of the door.  

“I’ll be there in a second.”

“You better not escape Donghae.”

Donghae groaned stomping his foot on the ground like some toddler not getting their way. His fist hit against the back of the sofa as he was reluctant to move from his position. He got up from the couch with a frown and went out the door not wanting to get his suit jacket. He didn’t want to bother looking his best anymore.

He walked through the hallways letting the backstage helpers move out of the way. He was the lead actor anyways so people must make way for the prince, soon going to be the king of dramas. Donghae slightly glared at a woman pushing a cart of stage props since she was so slow in getting out of the way.

He had an arrogant step as the brown haired male stepped aside from the woman not bothering to help at all. Why should he help when he has his own problems? His movie was going to go into flames because some disgusting human being is going to be in it. If only the drama prince could decide who should be hired and who should be hired.

“Oh good you’re here,” the director smiled and motioned for the drama prince to stand beside a grinning blonde male. The blonde waved happy to see Donghae. Donghae grimaced seeing the star's gummy smile finding it unattractive.

Donghae just grunted and decided to sit on one of the set couches instead of standing next to Hyukjae. He wanted to be as far from the blonde as possible seeing him as some horrible disease. He crossed his legs in a neat fashion and put his chin on his hand. Donghae was concentrated on the director trying to block Hyukjae from his sight.

The star noticed this action and looked down to his feet feeling anxious. The blonde gulped lifting his head back up again trying to look confident. He wanted to look professional and respectful trying to act he belonged. He needed to make a good expression but by the way Donghae was acting, it seemed he wasn’t doing so well.

The director started to flip through the scrip. “You guys know what the movie is about, right?”

“No,” Donghae spoke with a monotone voice.

The director smiled wide, “Good because you’re not supposed to.”

“That doesn’t make sense…” Hyukjae chimed in but soon regretted saying it because Donghae started to give a disgusted look toward him. The director rolled his eyes and mumbled something that was probably wasn’t even nice.

“Look,” Donghae gave out a sigh and got up from the couch. “I know you’re new to this whole acting business but-”

“I’ve acted before.”

“os doesn’t count.”

“But sometimes it’s important to be able to act in . You have to have a certain face expression and-”

“That shouldn’t even be called acting!”

“But some of the positions can be difficult to film since you need to have a good angle.”

Donghae covered his hears and started yelling, “La la la la. I can’t here you! I can’t hear you!” The drama prince started to jump around with his eyes closed yelling random nonsense. He even started to spin around while everyone else in the studio was looking at the man with worry. They’ve never seen Donghae acted like this before.

Hyukjae couldn’t help but glare. He was tired of all this treatment while he was being a good guy. Donghae is such a child. Hyukjae started to do the same thing as the brown haired male. “La la la la. I can’t here you! I can’t hear you!” He started jumping around and just copied the movements of Donghae.

The actor saw this and started to stick his tongue out. Hyukjae did the same thing. Donghae stomped his foot. Hyukjae followed. Donghae slapped his . Hyukjae did the same. Whatever the drama prince was doing the star repeated. Pretty much, they were mocking each other.

“…This is going to be a long production,” the director face palmed himself as the coffee boy, which came to deliver coffee, nodded in agreement.
