"I believe if we meet once, we are fated to meet again."

It is snowing here in Korea. The cold seems tolerable but the way my heart was hurting right now, I don’t think I’ll be able to live with this. Her face was painted pale with a thick scarf covering almost half of it. Her eyes grew deeper, developing dark circles around it. It’s been exactly 3 days since I met this amazing girl. This girl named Yoona— she’s Yoona for all I know. I knew nothing about her; the way she lives, her family and even her house but I don’t think that’s even important now. I tilted up and felt the flakes melting slowly at the tip of my nose. I turned to look at her, she still have that usual smile but I can notice in every hour, every minute and second that passed, she’s getting weaker and weaker. I held her hand and gave her an assuring smile that everything will be alright.

“Luhan, why are you so good to me?” Yoona asked. Her eyes were waiting silently for my answer.

My shoulders went from up to down as I shrug. “I don’t know.”

She broke into a silly grin and paced forward, leaving me a bit behind. Yoona spun around and around with her eyes shut, letting her hands flew freely with the cold wind. “Do you believe that when people meet once, they are fated to meet each other again?”

“You think so?”

“I’m not sure. But that’s what I believe.”

“So what’s next?”

Yes. It was another day with Yoona. I know it’s bad that I’ve been skipping classes but there’s this huge urge in my mind and  in my heart telling me that I should take this short journey with her until the end. She was apologetic and hesitant seeing how a stranger like me whom she just met a few days ago, can be so kind and caring. I don’t kn
