Chapter 4
Hello Stranger!
“Love always has two different faces of sadness and happiness.”
I’m holding her soft, warm hands thinking about us. How long will this last? How long could I feel her warmth? How long will she live? How long? I felt her eyes staring at me and as awkward as I am, I looked back at her then gave her a sweet smile. Yoona smiled back before looking down on her feet, stumbling upon the white snow that freezes her toes. “Luhan…”
“Yes?”
“Isn’t it weird falling in love with a stranger?” She asked and felt myself being stunned by her words. It’s actually weird. Is it? I chuckled but didn’t utter another response. Yoona grinned before pulling me into a hug. “Luhan, I love you.”
My eyes went wide. This is the first time someone told me those three words. My heart was beating fast. I wonder if Yoona could feel it since she was leaning on my chest. She pulled back and looked at me in a quizzical expression with a pout on her face. “It’s weird, isn’t it?”
I choked and my eyes wandered around, feeling the bright tinge of red on my pale-colored face. “Y-yeah, kinda.”
Yoona laughed. Her angelic face resonating with the bright rays of the morning sun. “Can you say it to me?”
“Say what?”
“That you love me.”
That left my mouth gaped open. I watched as she waited patiently for those words to come out. I stepped an inch closer to her before cluthing her shoulders. I leaned closer and covered my lips into hers. Her perfectly pink and plump lips resting on mine. We parted when we felt out of breath. “That’s enough, right?”
She nodded and her face was like cherries. She bit her lower lip before clinging into my arms once more.
“Yoona…”
“Hmm?” She had her eyes shut while resting her head on my shoulders.
