Chapter 1
Hello Stranger!
"Since then, I can't get her off my mind."
“Do you need some help?” I asked her. She turned to me and smiled. I never thought a girl like her actually exists in this world. She’s pretty. No. She’s a goddess. Her wide smile just made my jaw literally dropped open.
“Uh, excuse me? Hey.” She was talking to me, waving a hand in front of my face. I think I’ve been staring at her for like 10 minutes now. Xi Luhan, get your senses back!
“What is it?” I turned to her.
She pouted and puffed her perfectly round cheeks. Oh god, you don’t know how cute that was! “This.” She pointed at her bicycle.
“The… bike?” My brows raised. What’s wrong with the bike? It looks perfectly fine.
She fiddled her index fingers and shyly answered back. “Promise me you won’t laugh. Ok?” She pouted that pout of hers.
I raised a hand, a sign of promise. “Fine. I won’t laugh. What is it?”
“Well, I don’t know how to ride a bike.” She quickly shut her eyes off after that and covered her ears. Maybe she’s waiting for me to burst in laughing.
“Then do you want me to teach you?” I offered her.
She opened her eyes. “You didn’t laugh.”
“Why would I?” I said coolly. “So, do you want me to teach you?”
She smiled once more. That smile which I’m growing to love. “Won’t it be strange to take biking lessons from a stranger?”
“If that’s the case…” I stretched my hand out. “My name is Luhan.”
She took my hand and shook it.“Nice name you got there. I’m—“
“YAAAAHHH! LUHAN! XI LUHAN! GET YOUR UP DUDE!”
Kim Jong In, of all times, why do you have to barge in everytime I’m in that moment of asking her name!?? That was close!
“YAH! Stop it, Kai! I’m awake, ok?!” I yelled back while shielding from the pillow flying at me.
“Good then. We’re running late for school.” Kai said and went down to get his breakfast.
It’s Monday, the first day of school. The sun was too high. I can feel it on top of my head as the heat radiated in my chestnut brown hair. I’m too lazy to go today. If it’s not because of Kai who was constantly mocking and forcing me to get up, I wouldn’t be here walking in this bricked long road to my precious school. I loosened my tie and put my hands inside my pockets with the earphones plugged in both ears.
“LUHAAAAN!”
I turned around and saw Baekhyun, waving crazily at me while running. “Hey, Bacon!”
