Little Talk
The Retreat
Youngjae’s pulse skyrocketed when he ran into JiYong on the way to the kitchen. The entire trip the man had been locked in his area of the building, not interacting with them at all. What was he doing out now?
“Youngjae.” The way the man’s eyes watched him made the blonde want to twitch.
“Yes, sir?” He was proud that his voice didn’t waiver.
“You realize if after this retreat plan of yours they still cannot pull it together and work together you will be in need of a new job.” Youngjae opened his mouth but no sound emerged. Unable to force any words he only nodded at the man. “Good then. It was nice having this little talk.”
Youngjae bit his lip in an effort to keep the tears at bay as the man walked away. No matter how much he ed about his job and the things he had to endure he was thankful he had a job. Now that might be going out the window as well. What would he do if he lost this job? Would he be able to find another one in time to avoid getting kicked out of his apartment?
*~*~*~*~*
I know, it's a teaser. BUT I'm kind of stuck on this one. I wrote out the entire final chapter and then hated everything after this point so I trashed it. So if you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I may or may not use them but maybe they'll spark something that will lead me to an end I'm satisfied with.
