“Hyung,” Kai said, poking Taemin’s arm as they sat together during lunch.

“Hm?” Taemin responded as he picked at the nasty cafeteria food.

“I really love Hello Kitty.”

“I know.”

“Kitty-chan is so kawaii,” Kai said, leaning his head on Taemin’s shoulder. “Don’t you think so?”

“Are you really in love with a Japanese character?” Taemin asked, half bored and half unbelievable.

Kai vigorously nodded his head insistently, “Yes! So much!”

Taemin sighed, bemused. “You’re saying this because you want Hello Kitty things for your birthday right?” Taemin guessed, rolling his eyes.

“Is it obvious?”

“Very.”

“Good. I’m expecting Hello Kitty things from you, hyung.”

“Alright, alright. We’ll see.”

“Hello Kitty~ Hello Kitty~,” Kai sang happily, swaying side to side in his seat.

Taemin rolled his eyes and made sure to set money aside for something Hello Kitty for his friend.
