It was the middle of August and this day was the hottest day of the year. Proving the meteorologists correct, Taemin and Kai were dying from the heat. They didn’t dare go outside and took refuge in the kitchen, lying sprawled out on the tile floor underneath the table.

The each had a cup of ice cubes, on them. They also had paper fans to cool themselves with, though they didn’t really work extraordinarily well.

“It’s so hot!” Kai complained loudly. He could practically feel his skin melting off him and he was nearly drenched with sweat.

Taemin, also in this state, whined along with his friend, “I just want to die! I can’t deal with this…”

They were such tough, little troopers.

“Do you think we’d fit in the fridge?” Kai wondered aloud, casting tempted glanced at the large piece of metal.

“No, there’s too much crap in there,” Taemin reasoned.

“I’m going to die.”

“Me too.”

It was official, they both hated summer heat. Well, at least just this day.
