For the last two years I've been writing for HD_smoochfest on livejournal. Basically, it's a way to get people to write Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy stories, but it's a lot of fun. Anyway, I was thinking "Wouldn't it be cool if there was a fest for GD and TOP?" And the answer is yes. That would be very cool. Now there might be something like this somewhere else, but I want to try it here (mostly, because I at using livejournal... completely fail even).

So. Here's the gist of it:

People send me prompt ideas in a private message on here or at my email. On October 12, I will post all the prompt ideas anonymously as a chapter of this. Then people that are interested in writing can claim whichever prompt they want to write out of the ones that will be listed by leaving a comment or a message to me. Everyone's stories will need to be sent to me somehow by Halloween. Then I will post them all on November 4 (because it's Tabi's birthday, and what better way to celebrate than with gtop fics?) When they are posted they will say who the original prompt belonged to and the author that wrote the story, and hopefully, we will have lots of gtop :D

In the other fest, they have rules like stories must have happy endings and stuff, but I think this GTOP Writing Fest should be open to all ideas. They can have any rating, and must include some sort of relationship between Jiyong and Seunghyun. Friends, lovers, family, enemies with suppressed feelings? Anything is acceptable. After November 4, the authors of the stories can post it to their own accounts or whatever they want. I just want to make it clear that the authors will be given credit for their stories. I would never try to claim anyone else's story as my own. Other than that the only rule is that stories must be at least 500 words long.

Example of a prompt:

Object/Word Prompts: Hyung, "But Noona said...", sunglasses

Place: Hair Salon

Action: Seunghyun is a hairstylist in a salon. No matter how hard he tries, Jiyong can't seem to get an appointment with him. Even after he dyes his hair pink.

Dislikes: Non-con, character death

Other Notes: It'd be cool is some of the other guys from Big Bang worked at the salon too. Maybe Daesung? I'd prefer for it to be as humorous as possible, not necessaryily ty, but it's entirely up to the author :)

So is anyone interested? I hope so. You can submit as many prompts as you want, and just because you submit one doesn't mean you have to write a story. Likewise, you can write a story without submitting a prompt. Does that make sense? If anyone has any questions, just ask! I'll try to help as much as I can. And I'm willing to beta stories. Let me know what you guys think!
