Chaerin was roaming in a shop in Japan with her friend Yoon. She picked some clothing from racks and examined them not really paying attention to anything. She was immersed in the fashion of Japan, not realizing that Yoon had wandered off. She then walked to the other side of the store where the jewelry was located. She smiled softly as she picked up a strawberry ring, almost similar to the ring Jiyong gave to her. She twirled it between her fingers, thoughts of Jiyong filling her head. But those thoughts were cut short as someone grabbed Chaerin's wrist causing her to drop the ring back on the counter. She turned around to see Yoon grinning at her, like she won a prize.

"Yoon-neechan!" Chaerin laughed, "What is it?" 

Yoon was often persistent and straight to the point. Not interested in formalities or taking her time. This was just how she was. So grabbing Chaerin like this was normal.

"Chaerin, I want you to meet a good friend of mine!" She said in a giddy voice.

She then turned slightly and her other hand quickly beckoned someone from the back of the store to come forward. Chaerin looked over Yoon's shoulder, lifting her sunglasses slightly so her eyes could search for the person.

Then she saw her. 

"This is Kiko Mizuhara! She is a model and just amazing! And Kiko this is Chaerin Lee otherwise known as CL! She is the b-e-s-t." Yoon gushed. 

Chaerin blinked and her lips formed a tight smile. She didn't want to be mean or anything to this woman. She didn't. But the other part of her resented her slightly. Because she got Jiyong's attention. Because they might have been something that Chaerin could never be with Jiyong.

"Hello, nice meeting you, Mizuhara-san", Chaerin said in Japanese and bowed.

"Ah it's nice to meet you, Chaerin-san! I am a fan of your music. It's good!" Kiko grinned and nodded slightly at her.

Yoon frowned and tugged Chaerin's wrist, since she was still holding on to it.

"Chaerin don't need to be so formal and she can speak in English so let's just speak in English together." Yoon said. 

"Ah, is that so. Well uhm hello Kiko-neechan?" Chaerin said awkwardly, pulling her arm away from Yoon.

Kiko giggled at Chaerin, "Hello, Chaerin! I hope we can be good friends from now on!"

And she stuck out her hand for Chaerin to shake but she just stood there, looking at it. A frown playing on her lips. She couldn't understand why Kiko was being so friendly. Did she not know who she was? Who she was often associated with.

"Ah, I heard from Yoon that you are a germaphobe right?" Kiko said as she pulled back her hand, blushing furiously as she realized the mistake she made.

Scratching her head, pouting at the fact that maybe Chaerin might not like her as much as she liked her.

Chaerin couldn't help but smile softly at Kiko. Despite wanting to resent her, to hate her, she willingly softened towards her. Something about her made Chaerin want to pat her head and say it was alright. Because in her own way Kiko was trying to make Chaerin feel comfortable.

Chaerin giggled, "You are really kawaii when you pout, Kiko-neechan." 

Yoon snorted, "Yeah she is."

But Kiko smiled so brightly, so happily that it made Chaerin stop giggling. Her beauty it was something to admire. Her smile it was so big and bright that Chaerin couldn't help but let her resentment for her fade away. 

Was this the reason why Jiyong focused on her. Gave her his attention, his affection. Because she was a natural beauty. Or was it because of her personality. So kind and friendly.

And Chaerin smiled sadly. She was everything that she herself couldn't be.

BTW I AM NOT SAYING THAT CL IS ANY LESS BEAUTIFUL THAN KIKO OKAY. it just seemed like it would fit my story that CL idolized Kiko in a such a way and this was her reason for GD for paying attention to Kiko.

Okay they are going to be speaking in English (and I am going to assume that YOON speaks English and that she is the oldest of the three). I tried to look up YOON but I couldn't pull up much information on her like age wise I know about her fashion / Verbal wise lol. I know that Kiko is a year older than CL and who Kiko is. And that all that good stuff. And yes I decided that YOON introduced them instead of Yulia. :b I don't know what time or date to place this in but i guess probably when they went to Japan for new evolution okay idk XD
