I remember falling in love with you. Everything, down to the last detail. It just hit me and I knew.

It was spring. April 24, 2010. I remember. Do you remember that day? I do. You wanted to go and take a walk to the park. You wanted to escape everything. I laughed, merely agreeing. Because what are friends for, right?

It was warm. It was about 10 in the morning. Your hair was messy, undone. No products in it. Your eyes, they sparkled like gems. Your skin was milky, smooth. You wore your favorite blue and grey striped sweater paired with your black jeans and a nice pair of high tops. 

You looked beautiful. 

The wind blew ruffling your hair.  You laughed, telling me a story about how being the editor for a magazine was stressful. Even then I wasn't in love with you. I was fascinated.

But when the sun hit your face and leaves fell behind you, I swear you looked the most beautiful that time, as cliche as that sounds. Also for some reason you were laughing, must be because of the joke I told you, your eyes turned into crescents and you laughed so beautifully that it tugged at my heart.

My heart ached.

And I knew then I loved you. 

I loved you, I still do. 

Seeing that happiness in your face, in your eyes is what made me fall in love with you and is still the reason for my love for you.

Never have I felt this way about someone.

Never have I.
