In The Locker Room
Baby U“Where’s the rich kid?” Cap asked as he changed into his club uniform, a black vest, black slacks, and a white collared top which he left the first two buttons undone.
“At home.” L.Joe replied as he slammed his locker shut.
“He didn’t want to go clubbing?” Cap joked.
“I think he needs to just rest.” L.Joe replied.
L.Joe was about to head for the door but quickly turned around.
“I can’t keep this in anymore.” L.Joe exclaimed frustrated. “Can you believe it?! Yesterday our teacher tried to him in the classroom afterschool!”
“What?!” Cap gasped. “Are you kidding me?”
“No, our teacher tried to him!” L.Joe replied. “He was giving Chanhee weird looks throughout class and called him out afterschool. It gave me bad vibes, so I stuck around just in case, but it happened. If I didn’t walk in when I did Chanhee wouldn’t have gotten away with just hickies.”
“That’s just nasty.” Cap slammed his locker shut. “Did you tell someone?”
“No.” L.Joe replied. “I’d have to go to court and stuff as a witness if his family decided to have the guy arrested. You know I can’t do that.”
“I see.” Cap scratched his head.
“So what? Chanhee’s just going to go to school as if nothing happened?” He asked L.Joe
“I guess… I don’t know.” L.Joe replied.
“That teacher might take it out on your grades or have you kicked out of school or something.” Cap looked at L.Joe. “Even if the teacher doesn’t do the kid might be uncomfortable or have psychological trauma. I’d watch him and that teacher for a bit. You saved the kid. He’s your responsibility now.” He pointed at L.Joe.
“I know.” L.Joe waved him off. “I hate s, so I’ll watch him. Besides, it might not be bad to have a friend in school.”
“Just don’t ditch us.” Cap warned.
Cap and L.Joe left the locker rooms and headed for their work stations. While everyone switched jobs every night, tonight Cap would be working the bar while L.Joe would be serving as a waiter.
“Heads up,” Cap tossed a rag to L.Joe. “Ricky and Chanjo are coming over tonight after babysitting duties if his come comes home early enough.”
“Niel?” L.Joe asked.
“He’s coming too.” Cap replied. “Something about picking up chicks with his new dance moves. He said save them a table.”
“Hell no!” L.Joe exclaimed. “Not my tables. They don’t tip. They can stand or sit at the bar for all I care. I don’t service rude customers who don’t tip.”
Cap laughed. “I tell him that.”
