L is a famous actor. He has it all—money, fashion, fame and all that comes with being at the very top of the tower of popularity. Like any young celebrity, he had taken the popularity to his head and had become the ultimate narcissist with a bad case of the celebrity disease.

Kim Sunggyu is a down-to-earth doctor and also L’s older brother. He tried very hard but couldn’t cure his brother of the celebrity disease.

Jang Dongwoo is L’s childhood best friend and trusted manager. He was the only one among L’s older acquaintances who could stand his arrogant behavior.

Nam Woohyun is a reputed solo singer and also a celebrity friend of L’s. He’s usually a quiet person and so gets along well with L.

Lee Sungyeol is a rising newbie actor. His popularity has risen recently after he announced he was dating L. He’s also on his way to develop the C disease.

Lee Howon is an average college kid; well not so average—he’s a diehard fan of Nam Woohyun and knows everything about him. His only wish is to meet the singer in person.

Lee Sungjong is Howon’s younger brother with a serious temper issue. He has too much pride to treat celebrities as aliens from another planet. He believes he’s better than them because he doesn’t need make-up to look pretty.

If they meet, will Sungjong be able to bring out a Kim Myungsoo from the L?

And will Howon be able to become the one fan Nam Woohyun was waiting to meet.

Is Sungyeol’s affection towards Dongwoo normal or unnecessarily overdone?

Sungyeol and Myungsoo act for the same theater, the rehearsal room of which is said to be haunted. They both work hard but Myungsoo never seems to get any part in the plays they stage. In Sungyeol’s opinion, Myungsoo is a good actor but he keeps his mouth shut lest his part is taken away. Myungsoo doesn’t seem to mind anyway.

When Sungyeol tells Myungsoo that he can see a boy at the theater no one else can see, he believes him. In fact, Myungsoo tells him that he can see him too and he even talked to him. His name is Sungjong. Sungyeol asks if they should tell someone but Myungsoo disapproves.

One day, Myungsoo stops coming to practices and when Sungyeol asks around about him, he finds out a horrible truth—

“Director sir, I was wondering if you knew why Kim Myungsoo stopped coming to practices.”

“What are you talking about? There’s no Kim Myungsoo in our team.”

Sungyeol’s eyes were fixed behind the director. Myungsoo was waving at him from the door, gesturing him to follow him.

Myungsoo is a back-up dancer for Lee Sungjong, the new teen heartthrob. At the age of 16, Sungjong, or LS, his stage name, is the most popular solo singer in the Kpop industry. Myungsoo adores Sungjong and Hoya and Dongwoo, his fellow back-up dancers, encourage him to confess.

When Myungsoo tells Sungjong about his feeling he gets scoffed at. Sungjong tells his manager Sunggyu, who fires Myungsoo. In a year’s difference, with the help of Sungyeol, the CEO of a small entertainment company, Myungsoo’s luck turns and he becomes a forerunner of the Hallyu wave.

What will happen when the table turns?
