“I-I p-promise,” Sungjong said meekly.

“Ok then, here it goes.” Myungsoo took a deep breath.

“Sungjong I love you. Completely and unconditionally. Forever and in my next lives as well. Without rhyme or reason, I love you. Even if you don’t understand the importance of what I’m saying right now, I love you. I’m committed to you and only you. Because you live, my world has twice as many stars in the sky. ”

Sungjong was staring into Myungsoo’s eyes. He had stopped breathing when Myungsoo had started talking.

It seemed like hours had passed before a gasp of breath escaped his lips.

“Will you try that one more time?” he said in a whisper.

Somehow Myungsoo knew.

He leaned towards Sungjong again and ignoring the blush spreading across his cheeks, he let his lips touch Sungjong’s before taking him in his embrace. It was no more than a peck but it meant the world to Myungsoo.

And to Sungjong, it meant something out of the world. It was a luxurious feeling and the only name he could think for it was—love.
