"Check. Himchan, stop worrying about everything!"

Your boyfriend sighs, rolling his eyes. "It never hurts to be prepared, you know."

"You're kind of being paranoid, I mean we're only going to my cousin's place to babysit her son," you say, raising an eyebrow. "And it's literally on the floor above us. Do you really need all that?"

"Being an idol has taught me to prepare myself for everything," Himchan replies, slipping on his aviators with a satisfied smirk. "Let's go."

You decide to refrain from telling your boyfriend that he looks ridiculous, grabbing your purse and bag of supplies that you might need for handling your friend's kid and put your shoes on.

"Himchan, are you done posing in the mirror yet?"

He scoffs, raising one eyebrow as he makes a duck-lip pout. "How dare you accuse me of such a thing!"

"..."

"...okay fine, I'm done now. Let's go."

The two of you walk up the stairs to your friend's place, and knock on the door. A few moments later, it opens, revealing your cousin and her husband.

"Thanks so much for doing this," she says as she hugs you, "we really wanted to do something special for our anniversary."

"No problem," you reply. "We didn't have anything else to do, anyways."

"Wouldn't you want to go on a date with your boyfriend, though?" she asks, peering to the side, where Himchan stands by the front door, arms crossed in some attempt to look cool.

"...not right now," you say, grimacing at him. "Plus his hand is broken and all that."

"If you say so. Come on, honey, let's go," your cousin says to her husband. "We'll be back at around ten or eleven, I think."

"It's alright, take your time." You wave to them as they leave, then shut the door behind him. "I guess we should go say hello to Hyunsik, shouldn't we?"

"I guess so," Himchan sighs. "What are we supposed to do with a kid for five hours?"

"Well, I guess we're about to find out."

In five hours, you found out that neither you nor Himchan was properly prepared for dealing with a three-year-old child.

First, he'd decided to raid your bag when you weren't looking, and found your emergency chocolate stash.

It had taken most of those five hours to calm him back down again.

"Good lord," Himchan sighs, once Hyunsik finally passes out on the sofa, "is this what's gonna happen to us when we have kids?"

"When we have kids, Himchan?" you asked, swatting him feebly. "What makes you think I want to have kids with you?"

"Who wouldn't want to have kids with me?" He puffs out his cheeks, poking one of them with his index finger. "See? Genes as impeccable as these must be passed on."

"You keep telling yourself that," you joke, scooting closer to the sofa and Hyunsik's hair as he sleeps. "Kids are kinda cute, though."

"Ours would be the cutest," Himchan declares, sticking his tongue out. "Just you wait, Hyunsik-ah, you won't be the only baby for long."

"Don't even go there," you sigh, dropping your head on top of Himchan's shoulder. "This little guy is enough for now."
