Chapter 11- Falling Sick.

"AHHH CHOOO!" I sneezed, my nose twitching.

I don't get it, how can it be that I got sick, but not the poodle?!

Well, they're currently at their photoshoot, and I'm all alone in the dorm, lonely, shaking, and cold.

I wrapped the layers of blankets around me tighter, not wanting any air from the surroundings to haunt my already freezing body. 

Suddenly, yesterday's scene popped into my mind.

I lied on his shoulders, and we stayed like that for awhile.

"Why are you doing this?" I whispered.

"I don't know, I don't like to see girls cry." He shifted a little, sitting closer to me.

I chuckled, "Hey you're not that bad." 

"I could say the same for you," He smiled. 

I looked at him looking at the rainy skies and sighed.

I know I may not have experienced this before, but I'm pretty sure I know why I'm feeling this way.

The door unlocked, sending me into a state of alarm.

The boys are at the photoshoot, and so are their manager. So who the HELL is-

"Hey," 

I looked up and saw the guy I was just thinking of.

"Why are you here? You have a photoshoot! What the h-" I got harshly interrupted.

"I came back here to take care of you," the back of his hand pushed against my forehead.

"You're still having a fever, are you feeling better?" L.Joe bent down to reach my eye-level. 

Thump. Thump.

There goes my heart again.

"I-I'm fine." I looked away, sniffing.

"No you're not," he stood up straight, "I'll go cook something for you to eat." 

I kept quiet and looked at his back profile in the kitchen.

"You shouldn't be feeling this way," I whispered to myself, clutching my heart.

L.Joe's POV.

Why don't you remember me yet?

Why did you lose your memory?

I knew it was you the moment you looked at me that way when I was rapping.

I've been searching for you, Hyemi.

For months, for years, for centuries.

12 years, we've been separated.

I stirred the burning porridge, spacing out.

It was 7 years ago.

I just moved into my new home, which happened to be beside Hyemi's.

We became the best of friends, and we did everything together.

Our parents were just as good friends as we were.

But then it happened.

A burglar broke into Hyemi's home, and set their house on fire after stealing their stuff.

My parents went to save her parents.

And me?

I dashed into the burning fire,

And held her hand.

Assuring her that everything would be alright.

We made it.

But our parents didn't.

Hyemi fainted, and I carried her to the hospital, only to have the doctor tell me that she lost her memory.

My heart broke.

What happened to the memories we made?

What happened to the promises we had?

You forgot me.

You forgot us.

I tried to remind you of the past, by rapping to you.

But it didn't work.

I miss you, Hyemi, even though you're right here.

"L.Joe?" A soft voice invaded my thoughts. 

Without my knowledge, a tear had slipped down my cheek.

I quickly wiped it off with the back of my hand, "Yeah?" 

"The porridge is burning," She pouted.

I quickly offed the fire and turned back to her.

"Sorry, I'll make something else." 

I reached for the pan beside the sink.

To my heart's surprise, she grabbed my hand.

"Are.. You okay?" There was visible worry in her eyes.

No.

I'll never be okay if you don't know how much you mean to me.

"Yeah."
