A page in history [HIATUS]
Description
Zitao is a normal boy who loves history, living his own life, in the 21st century. But when he discovers a portrait of himself, dressing in Imperial clothing, his whole world turns upside down as he is thrown into Imperial China, during the Qing Dynasty. There he discovers, that what the history books make out to be aren't always true, and that the mask of perfection that the Forbidden City holds, isn't always as pure and clean as he has always thought it was. But the question remains, does Zitao really belong in the Qing Dynasty? Is he altering the path of history, or did Fate already decide the path that he would take?
Foreword
Stuff forewords, I'm going to post my authors note here. Okay, firstly, no this is not an original plot. I have based it on 'Palace Lockheart', a completely aweome drama (which I still haven't finsihed grrrr) with an awesome plot. I have a writers block for my other Taoris fic, 'Wonderland', but I suddenly had the urge to write a historical Taoris fic. I know, I'm awesome. No I'm kidding, I'm just going to spew whatever my mind feels like here. Do not expect regular updates, I have school and loads of assignments and homework. I'll update when I have time. I'll try to update at least once a week though. Alright, now to the 'classification'
Character name (idol name) = role of character (note: there is some gender bender in this story. If the character is in BLUE, they are a boy, if they are in PINK, they are a girl, also note I do not hate the girl group idols I used. They are simply the only chinese idols there are. Except I ran out so I added the rest of miss A in... but I love them!!!)
(Also note, the First prince is older than the 2nd prince, which is older than the 3rd prince etc. Thus Yixing is older than Kris in this story)
Zitao (Tao) = boy from the future
Yifan (Kris) = 8th prince, the people’s favourite to succeed the throne and one of the strongest candidates to succeed the throne
Yixing (Lay) = 4th prince, the emperor’s favourite son and one of the strongest candidates to succeed the throne
Baixian (Baekhyun) = 9th prince, best friends with the 8th prince
Canlie (Chanyeol) = 10th prince, best friends with the 8th prince
Lady Luhan (Luhan) = a princess from another clan
Junmian (Suho) = palace maid infatuated with the 4th prince, best friend of Zitao
Emperor Hangeng (Hankyung) = the Emperor
Imperial Noble Consort Qian (Victoria) = mother of the 4th prince, held in high regard by the Emperor
Consort Jia (Jia) = mother of the 8th prince
Feifei (Fei) = poor woman who takes Zitao in. Zitao’s ‘mother’ in Imperial China times
Yiyun (Amber) = head palace maid, advisor to Imperial Noble Consort Qian
Minying (Min) = palace maid
Xiuzhi (Suzy) = palace maid
