No updates for a while

Guess what?

 

I had the most horrible day.

 

My USB broke down. Corrupted. Files, everything on it... Gone!

 

I HAD EVERYTHING ON IT! Ad the last backup was two months ago.

 

I write my fics on word and save them on my USB. And now they're gone! I had updates, a new story! Gone!

 

I'm going to cry. How could it... Two new fics I had yet to upload... Gone! I can recover most of what I already have uploaded from here. But the new fics...

 

Why is life so cruel to me? I'm so upset right now :(

 

So there will be no updates for a while. Until I can get them back or get the will to write it again (I'm so depressed now, I just can't).

Oh my goodness.
that's terrible.
that's actually happened to me before and it is the worst feeling ever :/
i hope you can somehow retrieve part of it.
or remember most of the fic so you can re-write it :<

Don't worry, I've lost fics before. I know that feeling when you're so happy that you've done this much only to find out sooner or later all your work is gone. Forever. Never to be retrieved. The only way to recover them is to write it all again. I know, this annoys me, too. It's like the universe hates you for some reason. It might sound tiring to type it all up again and squeeze your fried brain for what you put in there and excruciatingly irritating since you were already more than happy with your story but once you get over the first few sentences, everything will flow out of you and you wouldn't even realize that you're already down with a hundred words. Also, you might even be surprised that what you have written is better than the one you lost and maybe universe was just trying to help you by losing it ^^
