Kim woke up late this morning because their family is still in bonding mode. She and her ate anne stay up late chatting with each other. Lahat na yata ng topic napagusapan na nila, pero its ok with kim cause it makes her forget her heartache. Actually kim noticed how she managed her heartache this time. She’s in pain but she’s not that upset para mag kulong lang sa room nya. Anne’s word of wisdom kept playing on her mind. Isn’t it true that breaking up leads me to the right one?
Mel: Its okay actually cancelled lahat ng class for the whole day eh, may meeting kasi lahat ng faculty members. Kung kakaalis mo lang ng bahay eh you should go back home na lang..
Kim: Malapit na ko, tsaka anong go back home eh sa condo ako uuwi?
Mel: I thought complete family pa kayo?
Kim: Papa needs to go back to Cebu, then sina kuya umuwi ng Tarlac sa hacienda nila ate KC, ayaw nyo na ko pauwiin ha porket may kinakabaliwan kayong cuties jan
Mel: haha sira! Of course not! Sige uwi ka na para Masaya, asan ka na ba?
Kim: two blocks away na lang
Mel: sige sa star bucks ka na bumaba..
Kim: sige! See yah!
After a few minutes Kim reached Starbucks, she look around to find her friends until she saw them on the corner laughing. She hesitate first whether to join them or not because she saw some unfamiliar faces. She was about to go when Maja called her.
Maja: Kimmy! Come over here!
Kim smiled and went over them and joined them in the table
Mel: Sit here, inorder ka na ni maj ng peppermint tea mo.
Erich: Kimmy! I miss you! I won’t ask you if your ok you look happy naman eh.,
Kim: I miss you too! Yah I’m perfectly fine life goes on kaya happy happy na lang.. ang ingay nyo ah malayo pa ko I can hear your laughters already
Maja: si mel kasi pakipot pa..hehe anyways Di ba mel already told you about our new neighbor? Well Meet Jake, Mel’s new lover
Jake extends her hand to kim and smile
Jake: So your Kim, nice to meet you! Im jake, and yes I’ m Mel’s new lover (gave mel a mischievous smile)
Kim: mel ha! Ilang araw lang ako nawala ang dami ko nag di alam ha?
Mel: Hoy jake! Suitor pa lang kita ha!
Jake: dun din yun pupunta..
Mel: you bet!
Maja: susss… I know you sis.. Your eyes don’t lie!
Erich and Kim: UYYYYYYY!HAHAHa
Then where all laughing as both jake and melissa blushed.
Gerald: ehemmm
Kim looked at Gerald, she was surprised at him and didn’t noticed him earlier. She thought he was not part of their group and was alone.
Erich: Ay, oo nga pala, this is..
Gerald: I’m Gerald! Hello kim! nice to meet you! (offer his hand and when kim extend her hand Gerald immediately grabbed it and kiss it) it’s a pleasure meeting you!
Kim: errr ahmmm Gerald, Gerald right?
Gerald: yes?
Kim:looking at her hand that Gerald is still holding.. Its okay now.. You can let go of my hand..
Gerald: oh yes Sorry..
Kim just smile and then turn to her friends giving them a who is thus guy look.
Maja; Ah sis, brother yan ni Jake.
Erich: nakita ka kasi nyan nung lumipat sila eh.. whisper to kim crush ka daw nyan, natuwa nga nung nalaman na kasama ka naming sa bahay, excited kaya yan Makita ka.
Kim: whispering also.. Para kasing may pagka psycho to.. Hindi ba
Erich laugh which makes other noticed their whisperings
Mel: hoy kayo jan.. mind if I ask you to share to us yang bulungan nyo?
Kim: wala yun ano ka ba.. Giving her friend just shut up look
Maja: tsaka pala friend alam mo ba na super excited yang si Gerald na makilala ka.. Kasi..
Maja was interrupted by a kick from Gerald
Maja: aray ano ba yun?
Gerald looked at her giving her a wag mo ko ibuko look
Kim: okay ka lang sis?
Maja: oo sis.. Wala yun! Oo nga pala sis I heard you were in Tagaytay this weekend, how was your family bonding?
Kim: okay naman, happy! Nga pala I bought something for you, wait, ayan.. Bagong friendship chain..
Mel: wow.. Ang ganda naman.. Ayan maj you belong to the group na,hehe may chain ka na kasi eh
Maja: thanks ha wala kasi ako Makita na katulad nung ke erich eh buti na lang may bago na ulit!
Erich: Naku maja,pag nawala mo ulit kicked out ka na talaga!
They all laughed at maja..
Kim: ay oo nga pala.. Meron din ako for jake and Gerald.. Sabi kasi nila may gift din daw ako from the new neighbors kaya eto.. Binilan ko kayo ng something from agate. Ang hirap mag isip ng para sa guys kaya eto nalang..
Kim handed the shirt to Jake first and then last to Gerald. Gerald caught her hand and smiled at her.
Jake: o bro.. masyado ka mabilis tinatakot mo na si Kim nyan eh..
Gerald: (let go of kim hands) naku sorry.. Anyways thanks for the shirt, Nagabala ka pa..
Kim: Your welcome, its nothing.. Gave Gerald a half smile then whisper to erich
Nakakatakot naman to friend..
All through that time whenever Kim looked at Gerald he is grinning ear to ear. Kim also noticed that he is just staring at her. She felt conscious so she excused herself to go the powder room.
Erich, knowing what kim is feeling followed her.
Erich: kimmy! Na love at first sight yata sayo!haha
Kim: tumigil ka nga jan!
Erich: bilib ako sayo girl! Di ka nababakante! Kumbaga lagi kang network busy! Blockbuster ka sis!
Kim: nakakatakot nga yun eh, feeling ko hinuhubaran na ko sa tingin!
Erich: grabe ka girl! Pero in fairness nakakatunaw nga ang kanyang mga tingin!
Kim: hay naku.. Lord ilayo mo po ako sa psychotic! Sana naman hindi sya maging next in line
Erich: anung next in line sinasabi mo jan? tara na nga baka hinahanap ka na ng lover boy mo.. Wala na makitang nice view yun!
Kim: Erika! Stop it please!
As they went back to table Gerald gave her a smile, but Kim just stare at her. Lunch time came and so they all decide to eat at the mall and catch a movie afterwards. Actually it was Gerald’s idea, he really want to spend some time with kim and get to know her, eventually the rest of them agreed.
