Oh hai, this is Mind's sister and I just wanted to share a little something with you.   On Why Infinite and Having a Fan Meeting on March 1st is a Mistake.So it’s come to my attention that Infinite is opening a fan meeting on March 1st, and with it came a large fan backlash which has caused a member to cry and foreign fans to claim that people are being too sensitive and they need to stop making their oppas cry. And while I try to understand your love and compassion toward your lovely oppas (I really try, seriously, I really do), I’m going to have to ask foreign infinite fans (I believe their fan name is inspirits?) due to the historical context of March 1st and why Infinite, as a Korean group, is being a group of s by opening their fan meeting on March 1st.  But first we’re going to have to clarify, what day exactly is March 1st in South Korea? While some inspirits are going around and claiming that Korean people are being sensitive that Infinite is opening a fan meeting on “Korean Independence Day”, this is objectively wrong. Korea gained independence from the Japanese occupation on V-J day which ended World War 2 which, for those who don’t know, is August 15th (1945 if we’re going to discuss years). August 15th is called Kwangbokjul, or Kwangbok day in Korea and is the Korean day of independence.So what the happened on March 1st in Korea?
