The dark night sky didn’t stop Victoria for searching her beautiful and sparkling friends. She hurriedly opens the balcony window to search for her friends. Nickhun quietly followed her and  slightly chuckled seeing how her faces changes so easily and how those eyebrows frown and almost met when she can’t even find a single star. Watching her like that is enough to cure his boredom. Every night Victoria would always find time to search for a star, at first he thought it was weird habit but seeing how happy she was just by looking at those star makes his heart contented with joy.

            “Have you already seen one?” Nickhun ask her when Victoria doesn’t seem to notice his presence at all. Eye brow frown when Victoria didn’t even dare to look at him. Still busy looking for a star. “Yah! Don’t just focus on looking for a star” he complains trying his best to get her attention. His mouth suddenly opens when Victoria started giggling like seven years old kid. Lips curved a smile thought it was because of him but then those smile quickly vanish.

            “Yah! Chinggu-ah where have you been? I’ve been looking for you for so long” she said while pouting then all of a sudden her lips curved a beautiful smile seeing how all the stars starting to show up one by one in front of her “ wow! So you guys are all been hiding ha? I really missed you guys” stretching her pointing finger like she was touching those stars. Nickhun couldn’t help but to be amuse at what she was doing. It seem like there is a seven year old kid on a body of a sixteen year old girl.

            “Now that you already found your friends, can you give me some of your time?” Nickhun ask when he was sure that Victoria already had enough time with her so called friends.

            She slightly bit her lips. Didn’t mean to ignore him at all but she miss her friends so much, Last night was such a gloomy day that all the stars are hiding and it made her a bit upset. She put a smile on her face before she looks at him “I’m sorry Oppa, I didn’t notice that you are here”

            He playfully glared at her “didn’t notice? Ahhh..

            She knows that there is no use on lying. “Fine! I admit it I really ignore you”

            Her answer causes Nickhun to laugh hard. “I knew it would like this”

Then all of a sudden a silence surrounds the two of them. Both of them are on their own world. Nickhun took a glance at the beauty beside him, how he always wanted to stay like this forever with her. From the very first time he met her, he knew right away that this girl will took a big part of his life but now it’s not only his life that she invade, she already invade his heart.

            “Why do you always like to see a star at night?” he suddenly ask

            Victoria smile liking what he asks. “Hmmm because they always give me light whenever I feel like a place is so dark for me, like how Mom, Dad and Oppa always give me light whenever I feel sad or something bothering me.”

            “Then I should be a star also” he said. Confuse with what he said, Victoria looks at her wanting him to explain what he said a while ago.

            “You said that stars give you light whenever you need one. Then I guess I’m like those stars to cause I’m always there for you whenever you need.” He said looking loving at her. He couldn’t help but smile when he saw those lips of her curved a blissful smile.

            “You didn’t have to tell me that because I already know that you are one of my stars” she said smiling at him.

            Nickhun extended his pinky finger to make a promise with her. “really?”

She gladly intertwined her little pinky finger “yes promise, you’re going to be my brightest star ever”

            Junsu could see the gloomy face of Nickhun since they left his house. He knows that there is no amount of joke that will make him laugh. He could no longer handle see him this way without asking for permission he turn on the car stereo and oozing sound surrounds the car. He was so into the music that he didn’t notice that Nickhun already turn off the car stereo.

            “Ah khun turn it on. I think the silence inside your car would be gone insane” he said but Nickhun didn’t bother to answer his complain.

            “Oh come on Khun, I know that you don’t like to there tonight but please can you smile a bit” Junsu try his best to lifted up Nickhun but there is no use.

            Nickhun just took a deep sighed. He was expecting to see her tonight just a glimpse of her would make him happy.

            “I just don’t get it, why can’t you forget her. Khun can’t you see it? You’re the only one holding on this; she didn’t even bother to show up, it’s been five years Khun and you still let yourself trap in this relationship”

            Nickhun reckless stop the car and focus his attention to Junsu. “Can you please shut up, you’re not helping”

            “How can I help you, when you can’t even help yourself Khun. Face the fact Khun Qian will never come back to you.”

Nickhun quickly grab the collar of his coat. Who the hell is he to tell him what to do? Yes. It’s been five years, who cares? He will never give up and will never lose his hopes. If he needs to go to New York just to see her, he will and no one can’t stop him.

            “Don’t try to say something that you don’t even know, you’re making things worst and please mind your own business.” He said and gently let go of him.

            “One last question, why can you let go of her?”

            “Because I can’t.” a simple answer it a lot of meaning on it. How can someone tell you to let go of something you wanted so much. Yes what Junsu said is true. Maybe he was the only one holding on but what can he do, no matter how much he tried. He always keeps on coming back from the one that got away.  

            “Congratulation Taec” Nickhun greeted him with a force smile. He was trying his best to a cheerful one. Just for tonight he said to himself. “I never thought that you would finally settle things with Yoona” he said and give both of them a warm hug.

            The place where filled with lots of friends and relatives of Yoona and Taecyoon. Not to mention the media who are present for today’s event. It’s the talk of the town the engagement between Korea’s Top Business Man Ok Taecyoon and The ever so Famous Im Yoona. Nickhun couldn’t help but smile after their 7 years relationship us a couple, finally they decided to get married and started a real family. He suddenly think what if Victoria didn’t leave for sure, they are already married and have their own family. He was lost in his thought that he didn’t notice Taecyeon was already beside him.

            “Looking for her?” Taecyeon slightly tap his shoulder. From the very beginning of their relationship Taecyeon has been always there for them. Victoria was his stepsister but the relationship they had is like a real sister – brother relationship. He knew how much Nickhun loves his sister that’s why he never doubted that Nickhun would hurt his precious sister but what happen, Victoria was the one who hurt him and he didn’t expect that it would be too hard for him to move on.

            “Should I expect her to be here?” Nickhun said in a cold tone.

            “Qian called me last night and she inform me that she might not be here due to her schedule---“ he was about to continue saying something when someone cover his eyes and sweetly whisper something on his ears.

            “Who told you I won’t be here?” Surprised with what he heard. It was a familiar voice. He turns around to look at the person. Jaw dropped from shock when she saw a beautiful woman chuckling in front of him. It seems like everyone was surprised with what they saw, Cameraman started to took a picture, and the flash from the camera could be heard. But one person in that crowded place almost forgot to breath, right in front of him was the person he misses so much, the person he wanted to see so much. He blinks his eyes, to make sure that it was not a hallucination.

            The beautiful woman once again speaks “who told I won’t be here?”

            Taecyeon couldn’t utter any words. He just stood right in there, realizing that everything is real. He loving hugs his sister without uttering any words. Victoria smile once she was in his brother’s embrace. “Aigooo. My giant baby brother is acting such a baby” she stated gaining a chuckled from Taecyoon.

            “I just miss my giant baby sister so much” Taecyeon said once he pulled away from her. Couldn’t believe that his sister is finally with him.

            “I miss you too that’s why I’m here”

            “Are you having a vacation, I thought your busy with your schedule” 

            As if on cue Key enter “it seems like you still don’t like looking at the entertainment section of a newspaper”

            Taecyeon didn’t know what’s happening. He looks at Victoria asking for an explanation. “What’s the meaning of this? Why the two of you are here?”

            “I will tell you about that Later, but for now I’m here to celebrate with you” .One by one all of the close friends and relatives greeted her. Her gazes suddenly focus on two familiar figures on that hall. It was her brother’s best friend. “Junsu Oppa?”

            “Hello there Qian” Junsu said. His body almost jerk when a weight suddenly thrown on her body. “I miss you Oppa” Victoria remark and earned a chuckle from Junsu. “I miss you Oppa.” Then all of a sudden Nickhun move closer to them. “Hi Qian”

                Victoria smile. She expects this to happen. To see him so soon. “Hello Nickhun-ssi”.

              Nickhun and the rest were shocked with what they hear. Did he hear it right? She called him in a formal way which was new to him. He felt kind of hurt with that but he decides to ignore it. “It’s nice to see that you are to celebrate with us.”

            Victoria smile “I would love to be here beside it’s my brother’s engagement party after all”

Far away enough from them Nickhun chose to be alone by himself. Tonight should be the best day for him. She was meters away from him but he couldn’t even take a hold of her. Tell her how much he misses her. It was like a different person that stood in front of him. It was the same face but it was not the same person he uses to see. Her eyes were not filled with emotions he uses to see. The way she smiled was totally different. Did she already forget about him? How can she do that? The dance floor started to became empty and the relaxing sound started to play. Letting the couples in love to take their time and dance with each other. Taking another sip from his wine. He made his way to where Victoria was.

            “Can I have this dance with you?” Nickhun suddenly blurted out surprising Victoria. She immediately takes his hand and agrees to dance with him. Refusing him would be a waste of time. Walking hand in hand on the dance floor. Nickhun took the center stage of the dance floor. He slowly pulled her closer to him and loving puts his hand on her waist. Victoria braves herself not to shiver with his touches. She smiled at him and did the same thing. The music started to play. It was a sweet music that could make you fall into your dreamland any minute.

            “I can’t still believe that you already achieve your dreams” Nickhun said while gazing at her face. Their eyes lock.

            “Me either. I couldn’t believe that I actually achieve them.”

            “I’m so happy for you, how are you by the way” Nickhun said wanting to keep her on talking. He misses to hear her voices.

            “I’ve been doing well, how about you?”

            Nickhun looks at her in the eyes, “I’ve never been good since the day you left me”

Victoria didn’t bother to answer him. She just continues dancing with him. She won’t lie that being close to him like this, makes her heart beat fast but she knew it was not because she still loves him. It’s because they haven’t seen each other in a long time. She suddenly panics when Nickhun pulled her closer to him and gently puts his head on her shoulder.

            “Why did you leave me? You have no idea how much I suffer. I miss you so much Qian” he said full of emotions. All the pent up emotions he had could be seen on his face. Victoria pulled away from him.

            “everything is different now Nickhun-ssi, we both have a different life’s now so it’s better if we just put everything on the past.” with that she excuse herself leaving Nickhun alone. What did she said everything is different now? How can it be different? He needs to find all the answer he needs now that Victoria is finally back. He will not let her go again not this time. Five years have been past and he will not let another year to past. If he needs to do a stupid thing just to get her back, he will do it.

            “I know that you still love me Qian” he said confidently

            She laugh “how can you say that Nickhun-ssi?”

            “I can feel you tremble on my embrace, and I can see that you’ve been avoiding me” he said never taking his eyes off her.

            Victoria didn’t answer. She just excuse herself, she needs to get away from that place before she let her guard down again with Nickhun. Lips curved a smiled satisfied with what he got, now that he knew that there is a great possibilities that she is in love with her. He needs to move past before she once again thinks of an idea to escape away from him.
