The Abandoned weeps, The Messenger explores.

The Keepers shroud the truth as The Bringers maintain death.

The Seeker hunts, The Destroyer to devastate.

The Lost is Awakened and The Outsider burns.

And as The Prophet uncovers that prolonged beginning, The Isolated keeps time from flowing.

Twelve guardians stood above the Earth, but below the Heavens.

They were human, but not.

They were beings untrue; those who lived to serve, yet served to live.

They sacrificed many, and longed for none.

Their reality was a fabrication as freedom came with a price.

They searched for retribution, yet craved an escape.

They were what maintained the Balance;

....where the final bell would ring with truth, to frame the guilty and shield the innocent.

i'm actually REALLY surprised at how many people cared enough to read this small series.

._. i honestly started writing this for fun; EXO and their MAMA concept just sparked that motivation for these drabbles to come to life

even if the quality of each drabble went downhill each and every time otl

the theme/motif/symbolization for this may come across as vague.

and i'll be totally honest that even I will have trouble trying to explain it in detail, so i won't.
