Personality

Athena is surprisingly calm and collected for a maknae, respectful to her elders and those who treat her with respect. She hates quarreling, and most definitly does not condone violence. Most of the time she can turn volatile situations into peaceful ones, so she hardly ever fights with anybody. When she's angry, she just ignores people and doesn't actively pick a fight. 

A little bit of an introvert, she tends to shy away from social situations finding more comfort in curling up in bed with a good book. To new people, she is always polite but shy and takes a while to warm up to them. However, once she has they find her to be wonderfully kind and cheerful. Though she doesn't realise it, she has a lot of aegyo from her avoidance of aegyo, finding her own awkward. 

Background

Athena is the older child in her family, arriving just that bit earlier than her twin brother, Choi Junhong. Her mother was from Jeju-do and moved to Seoul where her father was born and raised. 

Her parents wanted her to become a prosecutor with her straight A grades, and liking law she was initially going to do that. Being twins, Athena and Junhong hold a unique bond with one another. She was influenced by him and thus nurturing her passion for music and dance. She was granted the opportunity from the age of nine to take many lessons such as dancing, singing, and acting.

Her brother and her entered many talent competitions, and was eventually scouted by jtunecamp when she was 13.

• Chaejin (MYNAME) - met him at a national school talent show where she impressed him

Best Friends:

• Namjoo (A-Pink) - met at a talent contest in Seoul and found they had similar tastes. Athena encouraged her to audition, and they've been close since.
