One day someone told her, "Yang Hye-Min, you are a bit perfect." And not many people can deny that. 

Chanel is what one would call an all rounder. With her hard working attitude and determined mindset, she just seems to be able to do just about anything. Being so stubborn no changing her mind, and she'll get where she wants to be with or without your help. An over achiever, she puts many to shame. Doing very well at school, her creative side was accessed and blossomed along with her talents. 

On stage, she always looks put together, calm and in control of everything. Don't let her perfectionist self fool you though! She can be a little naive, and catches on to things too late sometimes.

Background

Chanel was born in New York City. Her parents are workaholics, and she grew up used to not seeing them very often. However, her brothers, Seungho and Seunghoon were always there for her. As a result they became very protective of her.

She didn't feel a pressure to be perfect, but she exceed the high academic goals her parents had for her. She and her older brothers attended The Yung Wing School while in New York. She found the move to Korea enjoyable, first attending Sung Mi San School then eventually following her brother's footsteps and attending Anyang High School. By that time, her parents had come to terms with the idea of having artistic children. 

Traineeship: 4 years Jtunecamp

She rejected joining a prestige university for this opportunity. Joined around the same time as H.I, and they've known from the start that they'd be in the same group.

Initially, Seungho protested but soon became her number one fan, impressed with her talent.

• G.O + Mir (MBLAQ) - met them at the surprise birthday party Seungho threw for her when she was 19
• GD + T.O.P (Big Bang) - met through 2NE1 girls
• Jay Park - went to one of G.O's immortal song 2 recordings and was introduced by G.O

Best Friends:

• Joon (MBLAQ) - met at the surprise party
• Bom + CL (2NE1) - met them at the launch of Jeremy Scott's new line which she endorsed

Past Relationships:

Lee Gikwang - their relationship made it awkward between Gikwang and Seungho at one point. Now they're all on relatively good terms. Sometimes when she's lonely she still thinks back on the dates they had together.
