SunMi has a very big mix of personality traits that don't really make sense together. She is really shy and awkward when she meets new people, but when you get close to her, she is loyal, trustworthy, and SUPER protective. She isn't afraid to stick up for herself or others, even if she is uncomfortable by talking to people she doesn't know well. If you mess with SunMi or her friends, trust me, you will definitely regret it.

Normally though, SunMi is a gigantic fluffball of sunshine and happiness. She is always laughing or smiling, and finds every cloud's silver lining. SunMi is also very dorky and nerdy. She finds it hilarious when she confuses, so she might start talking about Einstein's Theory of Relativity (which she actually understands) or something just to see the confused look on peoples' faces. SunMi is very funny, random and weird. There is no predicting what SunMi will do next. She just does what she wants, when she wants. This usually leads to adventures that no normal person whould get to exerience. It can either be negative of positive. SunMi is also very excitable and childish. When she gets really excited, she goes into crazy-super-hyper mode where she talks really really face and cannot sit still no matter how hard she tries.

SunMi also has a different part of her personality. When it is quiet, SunMi can sit and read book after book without moving an inch. This is rare though. When there is nobody around and nothing to distract her, SunMi becomes very insecure. She thinks about her faults and mistakes. She just completely tears herself down. She has never told anyone about this, and doesn't plan to. She hides it pretty well, so mobody suspects a thing, When this happens, SunMi feels completely horrible about herself. This is why she hates to be alone

SunMi was just a normal girl, living on the outskirts of New York City with her parents. When they moved to Korea right before she started middle school is when things began to go wrong. SunMi's relationship with her parents deteriorated. They wanted her to be that model daughter that they could brag to their friends about. SunMi couldn't stan even the thought of that. She has always wanted to be an idol. There was never another option in her mind. Her parents were completely against it though. When SunMi passed an audition, she packed up and left in the middle of the night, leaving just a note to her parents explaining that she felt like she needed to pursue her passion and dreams. She hasn't heard from her parents since.
