Chapter 5

“I m sorry but this place have been sold, I’m sorry that I failed to inform  you since you’re always out, everyone already move out and the demolition will start after two days..”

Hana’s landlord tells her, no matter how she complain nothing will happened that’s why she just decided to get her important things and leave.

She knocks on Yubin’s door, her best friend, her place is the only thing that she can think of, but she never expect a guy opening the door for him, he’s just wearing a white towel, she divert his gaze, in a distance she saw Yubin, with just her towel on,,,

He was her boyfriend for 5 months, yet she never expected him in her house, in this late at night with just a towel covering their boy, you can say that she interrupted them from an important matter

“Oh Hana, what are you doing here in the middle of that night?” still speechless, she kicked her bags to the side, so that she will not notice it,

“I just thought of spending that night with you, but I guess I am interrupting something, probably next time,” she said with a force smile

“Oh hana, I am sorry, we decided to live together, sorry I didn’t tell you earlier,” Yubin apologize

“No it’s okay, it’s my fault that I didn’t call you first, I should have called you first before I decided to drop by,”

Yubin gave her an apologetic look,

“Okay, goodbye,”

“Bye, take care, call me when you arrive home okay?”

Hana nod,. Then she locked her door,

“She picked up her travelling bag and lazily walks outside the apartment

“Where will I go?” she asked herself, she just decided to walk, she look at her wristwatch,

“It’s already 2 in the morning,” she didn’t notice that she’s been walking too long; she decided to just sleep on a public bath,

“Can I stay her just for tonight ahjumma?” she plead to the acting, manager,

“Okay, what happened to your house?” she inquire

“The owner sold it,”

“That’s too bad, I know you’re tired  you can rest,,”

“Don’t worry I will be looking for  a place to stay tomorrow, I just want to rest for now,” she explain

“Aigoo, don’t worry about it stay here for the meantime, the wonder was not back yet, she’s still in Japan at the moment,” she assure

“Thank you ahjumma,” she gave her a hug,” thank you for helping me,,,,”

Mrs. Kim found out that Hana’s house was demolished, she asked her to workers on the pharmacy, she learned that she’s staying in a public bath.

She pitied her condition

“You’re staying in a public bath?”

“Ah, yes,,..” embarrassingly she admit

“But it’s uncomfortable for someone like you“

“its okay, those kind of misfortune happens, soon I will find home, after I receive my end of the moth salary…”

Then Mrs. Kim believe that she needs her help as much as she needs her,

“The truth is I need your help and I am more than willing to help you,,,,”

“What do you mean?”

“Pretend to be my daughter,,, I want you to be my daughter…”

“What?” are you serious?”

She explain to her, her plan about going back against her sons,

“Will it worked?” hana asked unsure, after she heard everything

“it will, we will just work out without acting skills, my husband will help as well, I told him about you, and he is also excited to meet you,,”

wide open,” your husband agreed?”

“Yes he did, he will do everything and anything for me, plus he also wants to teach our sons a lesson,”

Hana is still unsure how come her husband agreed on a stupid idea,,

“Stupid idea right?” she shamefully nod

Mrs. Kim smiled,” but if it’s the only way, why not try this stupid idea, I just realize that they grew distance from me,  since it’s always me who made ways to reach them, I didn’t notice, but I grew tired, I want to turn the table around, I want them to court me,,”

“Court you?”

“Yes, they need to court their mother to win my heart again,”

“And you need my help?”

“Surely, you’re the only one that I can trusted, you’re close to my heart, maybe we we’re really related on our past life that’s why I feel so comfortable around you,”

“But, I still,,,,”

“I will provide you everything, home, everything you need, you don’t have to go to work, you just need to study and be my daughter, that will be our deal,,,please Hana,,” Mrs. Kim grab her hand, after a few thinking whether it will really worked or not, she agreed.

She might admit it or not, she really needs her help as well.

Meeting her husband was too easy, he is as nice as his wife, his smile is genuine, despite his age, and hana can tell that he was so handsome when he was young.

“Honey, this is Hana, hana this is my husband Junho,”

“Nice meeting you sir,” she smile and bow at him

“such a lovely lady, I can tell that you’re really resemble of each other, you have to practice calling me Appa from now on okay, after all you will be my daughter,,” he cheered

“Yes,, appa,,” she nervously called

Her way of calling was like music in his ears, he also wishes that they have a daughter, the sweet daughter who will sweetly beg to him whenever she wanted something, unknown to his wife he envies her colleagues who have their female daughter.
