Author’s POV

Finally, Princess Sulli has arrived  Shiny Kingdom. Like its name, it’s so shiny everywhere, unlike her country. The sky is clear and blue, there are a lot of flower growing on both sides of the street. She is amazed by the scenery. Everything goes green. She was afraid that she couldn’t adapt the weather in Shiny Kingdom, but now she thinks she can. Shiny Kingdom is a big dynamic country. She sees everyone selling many different kinds of goods at the markets where her entourage has passed out. It helps her reduce some parts of her nervous.

Her entourage slowly approaches the main castle of Shiny Kingdom. It’s much bigger than the castle where she used to live. The representative offers his hands to help her get out of the palanquin. He leads her towards the main hall while both sides of soldiers saluting her. Her heart is beating fast because she’s going to meet her so-called husband soon. The mainhall is decorated with a magnificent architecture. The floorispolished byblackgranitetiles, and many glow white marble columns standing. Through the thin veil, Sulli still can see everything clearly. She sees many people gathering here. And a man sitting at a gold chair above everyone, Sulli knows it’s the King. She greets everyone by kneeing down on one leg.  

-          Your majestic – Sulli said nervously

-          Are you Snowy Kingdom’s Princess? – the king asked

-          Yes, your majestic – Sulli replied

-          Because you’re wearing the veil, so I don’t know your face. Can you put it down? – the King offered

She nervously pushes it backwards behind her head, makes it loss with her curly hair. Sulli slowly raises her head up with heart beating fast. As seeing her face, everyone is speechless including the king. Her skin is as pale as the snow, her lips color reddish orange. Her beautiful and shinny eyes could look through everyone’s heart. What an unforgettable beauty. She looks around and sees everyone talking about her beauty. Men could go crazy for that beauty, otherwise women could get jealous of that beauty. She soon becomes the topic in the castle.

-          You’re truly a diamond of Snowy Kingdom, Princess …? – the king said in the middle

-          Sulli, please call me Sulli – she said

-          I think you get tired after a long trip. Princess Victoria will show you your castle where you starts living here – the King said

-          Thank you, your majestic. – Sulli bowed him

-          Hi, Sulli. I’m Victoria, please follow me – a beautiful lady smiled to her

Sulli follows Princess Victoria to her new castle. She is so curious about her husband, but she doesn’t dare to ask why she didn’t see him just now. She keeps silently while walking around the castle. She walks past a beautiful garden with a thousand of flowers, it’s nearby a pool. The water is so clean, she can see the fish swimming around. She stops her track and admires the scenery.

-          It’s beautiful, right? – Princess Victoria said

-          Sorry – Sulli apologized immediately

-          Don’t be worried too much. I know the feeling of being new here. I used to be like you now – Victoria smiled to her

-          Yes? – Sulli didn’t get what Victoria said

-          I come from a different country. I got married with Prince Onew. I used to be nervous when the first time I came here – Victoria said

-          So, you’re from another country like me? – Sulli asked

-          Yes. I know the royal marriage is not real, just one of the conditions in the treaty. And I was sent here to be prisoner. – Victoria said
