Author’s POV

The young beautiful girl with goddess beauty is sitting silently in front of the mirror, letting her maids help her doing some makeup. Her skin is pale and flawless, and her cheek colors pinky because the cold wind is crashing against her skin. Her eyes are amazing with a mix of sadness. Her reddish orange lip stick makes her lips plump. Her curly hair is loosen around her small waist. The girl is wearing a long white dress with a veil that covering her face. She owns a beauty that no words could express, a beauty could make Venus goddess envy her.  

Her room door opens suddenly. A young charismatic man in the royal clothes is walking towards her. She turns her face to him, and forces a smile. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders, and squeezes it tightly, while his face is pressing upon her shoulder. The girl could see the pain appearing on his face. She holds his hands back, and closes her eyes tightly to try to hold her tears back.

-          Sorry, it’s all my fault. If I got … stronger, you wouldn’t be like this – he mumbled with his deep voice

-          No, it’s not your fault. Please, don’t blame it on yourself – she squeezed his fingers as their fingers was intertwined

-          Sulli, … please forgive me for unable to protect you from this marriage – he said with his sincere

The girl doesn’t reply,  just closes her eyes more tightly to prevent her tears, but it fails. Her tears are rolling down along her cheek, then her chin, and finally falling down on his hand. It’s warm yet cold. He knows she’s crying. He turns her facing to him, takes a look at his beloved sister. She’s closing her tears hard, biting her lips hard as well to not let out any noise. Seeing her crying makes him feel guilty. There’s only desire inside his heart. He desires that he had much more strength to protect his poor sister. She’s going to be sent to a different country, and has to stay there as a prisoner. Maybe it’s the last time he could see her beautiful face.

-          I’m not worthy to be your brother, since I let you suffer this pain alone – he grinded his teeth

-          No, I know you’ve tried your best. And it’s my honor to protect our country. I never blamed it on everyone, because I know my decision could save our country. – she forced a smile to him

Though she knows from now on, her life turned into a new way because of this decision, she still doesn’t feel regret. The girl rather suffering this painful life alone than seeing her peoples dying for the war.

-          Thanks for your decision. And never forgive me, cause I’m a coward – her brother said while using his thumps wiping her tears

-          You’re always my only beloved brother, I know you could do anything to protect our country like I do now. And thanks for letting me contributing for your kingdom – she completed her words and hugged me tightly

A solider comes into her room, and interrupts their conversations. They break the hug and turn towards him, who salutes them as royal greeting.

-          Prince Minho, Shiny Kingdom’s representative had come. He’s waiting for Princess Sulli – that solider said

-          I know. Back out – the prince said coldly

Minho turns to his princess sister, and holds her hands tightly. They  say nothing, just staring at each other. He eyes his sister from top to toe. Today she looks extremely beautiful. He always wishes he could see his sister in this beautiful wedding dress. He always wishes she could get married with the one who truly loves her. He wishes the best for her. However, today, he must let her go for this stupid marriage. It’s not a real marriage, just a detention for her. He’s never been helpless like this time. She’s his , his parents’ treasure. To everyone, she’s  a pure diamond of Snowy Kingdom.

-          We better hurry up. It’s not good to let the representative waiting for. – she smiled weakly
