Hana couldn't help but wonder what had happened to him. It's not everyday you find someone with his wounds lying in the rain in the park. As she finished cleaning his wounds and tending to them, Hana walked into her kitchen to make some food for the mysterious boy and for herself. Hana started to gather the materials that were needed to make rice porridge for the boy and some bulgogi for herself. Hana started to put the vegetables and seasonings to start the base of the porridge when she suddenly realized that she was all out of meat. Damn. What am I supposed to do now? I can't just leave him. She stole a quick glance at him and seeing as how he was sleeping so peacefully, Hana figured that he wouldn't wake up anytime soon. She quickly grabbed her coat, keys and money and headed out the door.

Out of nowhere, the boy shot up from his deep slumber. Where am I? Why does everything hurt so bad? He quickly looked at his surroundings and sniffed the air. He rose up from the couch wincing since he was still sore, wondering where the mouth-watering aroma was coming from. As he reached the kitchen, he heard keys jingling outside the door and it opened revealing a girl with long wavy brown hair and a petite body. Hana looked at the couch and saw that the boy wasn't lying there anymore but was standing in her kitchen. Not knowing what to do, he just stood in his place and waited for the girl to say something.

"Nice to see you're okay to stand. I know you're hungry so you can just go lie back down on the couch or sit in the kitchen with me." Hana didn't seem scared of him and to the boy, she didn't look dangerous so he followed her into the kitchen. In a rush, Hana got back to her cooking and in no time she was finished. Setting the porridge in front of the boy, she sat down across from him. "I'm Hana by the way." The boy looked up and she just smiled at him. "I'm Kim J-j-jongin."

"Well Jongin-shi, you should start eating soon otherwise it's not going to taste good soon." Hana urged him to start eating with a flick of her fork as she started to eat herself. "Aren't you going to ask what happened to me? I could even be dangerous. You never know. I could have started the fight." The boy looked at her, searching for a spark of fear or anything. Hana put her fork down gently. "Nope. You don't have me tell if you don't want to. I just didn't want to leave you there. Plus if you were really 'dangerous' then you'd be gone by now." Hana and the boy continued eating in silence.

When they were done, she cleared away the dishes and took a good look at him. He had plump lips and high cheekbones with deep brown eyes. He was wearing a faded black t-shirt and tattered blue jeans. Hana had put his sweater in the dryer earlier because it was soaking wet from the rain but she hadn't realized that everything else would need drying also. "Wait here." Hana ran to her hallway closet and pulled out her cousin's old clothes. Her cousin, Kyuhyun, was in the States and only stayed with her when he was in town visiting. Knowing he wouldn't be back for a while Hana took her cousin's old sweatshirt and jeans and brought them back to the kitchen where the boy was waiting. She shoved to clothes into the boy's arms and led him to her bathroom. "You should change your clothes because they're all wet and I don't want you to be sick too. I have a dryer in the apartment so you won't have to wait long." Hana couldn't help but blush when she realized that she practically just asked to the boy to strip. JongIn saw this and cracked a small smile. "Okay then."

Hana waited outside the bathroom, wondering if JongIn's parents would be worried. Curious she called out to him. "Yeah?" he answered, sounding muffled from the other side of the door. "Aren't your parents going to be worried?" There was a pause. "No. They're not home much so they don't really care." Hana couldn't help but be surprised. Wow, he's just like me. I wonder if he lives alone too. Hana snapped out of her thoughts when the door opened. JongIn smiled when he saw her reaction. "Thanks for the clothes. They fit me pretty well." Hana looked up at his face. "Y-y-yeah. No problem."

JongIn walked towards her living room and plopped down onto the couch. Hana joined him and asked, "Are you still tired? You can spend the night if you want." JongIn was surprised by her proposition but kept a calm look on his face. "I would really appreciate that. I promise I'll leave tomorrow morning." He flashed her a grateful smile and she smiled back. "No problem. Let's watch some TV then." Hana could feel her heart beat drumming in her chest. What was I thinking? Did I really just invite him to spend the night? Omg. What would my parents do if they found out? OMG. WHAT WOULD KYUHYUN SAY? He would murder me. 

After a while, while watching TV the two youngsters ended up talking about themselves. They talked about everything from their parents to their favorite colors. They shared their hobbies and their likes and dislikes. Next thing JongIn knew, Hana was fast asleep on his shoulder and he was resting on her head. Without realizing, they had been talking until 1 A.M. JongIn glanced at the clock and saw that it was 8A.M. He laughed silently to himself when he saw her face. Sleeping, Hana looked like an angel but under that, JongIn noticed a sadness lurking in her features. Carrying her bridal style to her bedroom, JongIn laid her down onto her bed and slipped the blankets over her. He brushed her hair back behind her ears and softly touched her cheeks. He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, scribbled a quick note and placed it on her desk in her room. JongIn grabbed his backpack and silently slipped out of her apartment and out of her life.
