Reunited

Reunited

Lu Han sighed loudly and slid open the door to the empty practice room, ready to get some moves of the most recent dance polished and ready to perform tomorrow. Life was so busy ever since they debuted that each member hardly had enough time to think around all the programmes, interviews, practices, performances and signings squashed into every week. Sometimes they doubted that their manager even believed they were human and he, more than once, had forgotten to let them have time to eat during the day. Most of them would be dragging themselves into the dorm after a long day and basically crawling to the fridge.

Of course all this would be so much more bearable if they could just go back to Korea. It had been three months and sixteen days since EXO-M stepped onto the jet and zoomed to China, and the only way they knew what EXO-K were doing and how they were was through the odd TV interview aired on a Chinese network, news on the internet and the Korean idol magazines sold in the little musty international store down the street. The atmosphere around the dorms and practice rooms were always lively and colourful back in Korea when the members of EXO-K were around...

Well, he thought the practice room was empty.

Music boomed out the room and a heavy bass shook the floor and thundered up through Lu Han’s body, and Lu Han frowned to himself and wondered how the hell he didn’t notice the music before he opened the door. He must have really been zoned out. His eyes wandered to whoever was in the room, and it took his brain a few moments to realise that this person was stood in the middle, staring directly at him, like a deer in headlights. Lu Han mumbled a sorry and went to close the door when suddenly his thoughts began to whurr into action and started to register a few important facts he somehow missed before.

1. All of EXO-M were at the dorm, asleep.

2. This is EXO-M’s practice slot in the day.

3. Someone is in the room.

4. This someone looks very much like a certain someone. A certain someone from EXO-K. A certain someone who sent Lu Han’s heart into a wild frenzy. A certain someone who should be in Korea right now. A certain someone by the name of-

“Se Hun?”

He’s pretty sure he must be insane. That this is some weird mirage because of his exhaustion or something. He’s also pretty sure that whoever it is couldn’t hear him anyway, since this dub step track was loud enough for people in Russia to hear it.

The boy in the room took off his beanie hat and dropped it to the floor, catching Lu Han’s attention and revealing his thick dark brown hair. Lu Han’s eyes caught his as the boy pressed a button on a small remote in his hand and the music’s volume turned down a considerable amount.

“It’s me Lu Han.”

Lu Han stepped into the room slowly and closed the door without taking is eyes off this person claiming to be Se Hun...and by the way his heart was acting right now, it probably was. But this is all crazy because Se Hun is in Korea.

“But you’re in Korea.” Lu Han managed to splurt out, his tiredness speaking instead. He didn’t even notice that what he said made no sense and probably made him sound mentally insane.

“Yes, Lu Han, I’m in Korea.” Se Hun raised his eyebrow but he noticed that Lu Han was tired so he held out his arms, and he smiled. “Come here.”

Lu Han walked forward to him, and he reached his hands until they touched Se Huns lightly. He interlinked their fingers together – their hands slotting together perfectly – and walked closer. Memories began to flood back to him again, how it felt to stand by him, how he smelt, how his sleepy gaze felt, how much he wanted to hold onto him after he confessed. But of course he couldn’t, because Lu Han had yelled his confession across the airport as he was being bustled into the boarding gate by crowds of staff. He’s not even sure if Se Hun heard him.

“I heard you at the airport.” Se Hun said quietly, as if he could read Lu Hans mind. Lu Han looked at him, his expression a mix of embarrassment and panic, searching for any sign of rejection. He suddenly regretted confessing at all. It was probably going to ruin their whole friendship now, Se Hun probably feels really awkward, he’s probably going to say that he resigned from EXO because of Lu Han since a relationship between two male colleagues just felt wrong and would ruin his innocent maknae idol image.

“They had to hold me down into a seat at the airport to stop me from running after you.” Se Hun told him as he inched closer. Se Hun leaned in and pressed his lips to Lu Han’s gently, he increased the pressure slightly as Lu Han got over the shock and closed his eyes as well. They opened their mouths slightly and lost themselves in a loving kiss, but Se Hun pulled away before it could get too intense, but still leaving them almost breathless.

“You-” Lu Han half-gasped before Se Hun interrupted in a rush.

“I’m in love with you, Lu Han. I love you.”
