Chapter Seven

                The next morning, “Good Morning Ms. Hyunjae” the students greeted Hyunjae as usual and she greeted them back. When she arrived at their classroom, she saw Minhyun looking outside the window, she smiled then went near him

“Good Morning” she greeted “M-hm, morning” he responded while he was still looking outside “What are you looking at?” she asked as she placed her bag on her chair and sat down then faced Minhyun “Nothing” he said then “Good Morning Hyunjae!” Ren beamed as he hugged her from behind “Uh? Morning ^^” she responded then “What do you think you’re doing? (-_-)” Eunmi said as she grabbed Ren and pulled her away from Hyunjae “Don’t hug her as you please!” she added then she turned to Hyunjae “Good Morning Hyunjae” she greeted with a sweet smile on her face “Good Morning (^^)” Hyunjae responded then “Ah, Hyunjae-ssi, did you hear? We’re going to have another new student in our class” one of their classmates said “Uh, yeah, I heard from my brother last night” Hyunjae responded “I wonder what kind of person is he?” “I heard that he’s a model!” “REALLY? SO COOL!”

Model huh? I wonder what their reaction would be when they find out that Oh Se Hun’s not actually a model and that he wears glasses?

Then “Guys! The teacher’s here and the new student is behind him!” one of their classmates proclaimed as he entered the room; the students went back to their proper seats and waited for the teacher to arrive. Moments later, the teacher entered the room

“Good Morning students, as of today, we will have another transfer student and this time, he came from the States, please enter” the teacher said and the new student entered the room. when he came in, the girls were squealing to themselves “Please introduce yourself” the teacher said

“Nice to meet you everyone, my name is Oh Se Hun, I hope we’ll all get along” he said then he gave them a handsome smile that melted the girls’ hearts. Hyunjae’s jaw dropped due to shock, Ren noticed it and asked “Hyunjae, do you know him?” “K-Kind of” she responded “Uh?” Minhyun wondered then he noticed that Se Hun was looking at Hyunjae and he smirked.

During lunch time, as expected, Se Hun was surrounded by a lot of girls

“Woah, so this time the new student’s surrounded by a group of girls, too bad for you two huh” said Eunmi “What are you talking about? I like this better, no one’s annoying me” Minhyun responded “But I have to admit, he really is handsome, plus he’s a model in Five Star Magazine, right?” Ren asked “From what I’ve heard, yep” Eunmi replied then “Uh? Hyunjae, what’s wrong?” Eunmi asked as she noticed that Hyunjae was spacing out while looking at Se Hun’s seat

“Maybe she likes Se Hun too?” Ren whispered, Eunmi smacked him and said “The only person she likes is the student council president (-_-)” then “Eunmi… that guy’s Oh Se Hun” Hyunjae said “Uh? Yeah, he’s Oh Se Hun, the model” said Eunmi “No I mean he’s Oh Se Hun” Hyunjae said “Huh? I don’t get what you’re trying to say” said Eunmi then “I’m hungry, let’s go” Minhyun said as he grabbed Hyunjae’s arm and pulled her out of the room

“H-Hey wait!” Eunmi and Ren followed. Se Hun looked at them while they were leaving and he saw Minhyun holding Hyunjae’s hand “Uh?” he wondered.

                At the cafeteria, “What were you trying to say a while ago?” Eunmi asked “That guy is Oh Se Hun, don’t you remember him? During middle school?” Hyunjae responded “Oh Se Hun from middle school?” Eunmi wondered as she recalled her middle school days then

“Ah! The glasses prince!” she proclaimed “Yes, him!” Hyunjae responded “What? There’s no way the model Se Hun is the glasses prince Oh Se Hun” said Eunmi “But they look alike!” Hyunjae proclaimed “Are you sure? I mean, that glasses prince looks really plain while that model looks… well… handsome” said Eunmi “Se Hun only looked plain because of his glasses but he’s actually hand-” but before Hyunjae could finish what she was saying, Minhyun suddenly stuffed food in “Why don’t you stop talking and start eating?” he said in a pissed tone and he continued to eat “Uh?” they wondered. Ren grinned and said “Someone’s jeal-”but then Minhyun stuffed food in his mouth to shut him up

When they got back to their classroom, Se Hun was still surrounded by a lot of girls, in fact, there were more from the other class “Jeez, this is a classroom not a club or something” Eunmi complained as she had a hard time reaching her desk. Minhyun and Hyunjae were able to reach their desks successfully since it was near the window, Hyunjae sat down and faced Minhyun

“Hey, why did you suddenly stuffed my mouth a while ago with food? That was really rude you know!” she said “You were being annoying” Minhyun responded “EH?” Hyunjae said then Minhyun noticed that Se Hun was looking at them and he seemed irritated and even glared at Minhyun “Uh?” Hyunjae wondered, she turned to look at Se Hun and when their eyes met, he smiled at her and she was surprised. The teacher suddenly entered and told the other students to go back to their own classrooms and after that, classes resumed.

After class, Hyunjae had Student Council meeting so she told Eunmi to go ahead. During the meeting…

“Hey Hyunjae, I heard that you have a model as a classmate this time” said Aya “Uh, yeah” Hyunjae replied “I saw him a while ago when he entered the building, he really is good looking but I bet the pres. Is still the most handsome guy in the world for you” Aya teased, Hyunjae blushed and said “Y-Yeah right” then

“What about me?” Daehyun inserted and the two girls were surprised “We were talking about how smart you are, right Hyunjae?” Aya responded and Hyunjae nervously nodded her head “Really? I don’t think I’m smart” said Daehyun “Tch, pretending to be humble :P” said Aya “But Hyunjae likes the humble me, right Hyunjae?” Daehyun said as he turned to Hyunjae, Hyunjae turned bright red and nodded her head.

Daehyun grinned and said “See?” “Psh, Hyunjae only agreed because she really likes you” Aya muttered and Hyunjae kicked her leg “Ow, I was just kidding” she added “Heh, there’s no way Hyunjae would like me since she’s dating that Hwang Minhyun from her class” said Daehyun “I’m not dating that guy!” Hyunjae proclaimed “Uh?” Daehyun wondered “W-What the heck, why are we even talking about that stuff. Let’s start with the meeting already” she said then she settled down, Daehyun also took his seat and started the meeting.

Meanwhile… Eunmi, Ren and Minhyun decided to go home together

“Hey Eunmi, how come Hyunjae kept on mentioning that Se Hun guy? Does she know him?” Ren asked “Hyunjae thinks that the model Se Hun is our middle school classmate Oh Se Hun a.k.a. glasses prince” Eunmi replied “Glasses prince?” the other two wondered “Yup, during middle school, Hyunjae and I were classmates with the glasses prince named Oh Se Hun, he wasn’t really that good looking, in fact, he was often bullied because of he was the only one in our class who had to wear thick-framed glasses. I didn’t pay much attention to him though… but… come to think of it, Hyunjae was always nice to him. I bet he had a huge crush on her, heh” said Eunmi

“Hmm, then if the glasses prince and the model are the same person, and he still likes Hyunjae then *turns to Minhyun* you have no chance in winning Hyunjae’s heart” Ren said, Minhyun made a (-_-) face then he smacked him on the head “Anyway, you go home ahead Ren, I’m going to stop by somewhere else” he said as he walked ahead “Where to?” Ren asked “Secret” Minhyun replied and he continued his way “Uh?” the other two wondered.       

When the meeting ended, they went on their separate ways. When Hyunjae got out of the building, she suddenly saw someone at the gates and he looks like he was waiting for her

“Uh? Minhyun?” she wondered, when she got a closer look she realized that it was actually someone else, someone she didn’t expect that would wait for her “S-Se Hun?” she said, Se Hun heard her and turned to her then he smiled “Uhh…” she said

                On the way home… “Woah, so it really is you!” Hyunjae beamed “Heh, yeah. I actually thought that you forgot about me since you didn’t even approach me” said Se Hun “How can I approach someone when he’s surrounded by a lot of girls? (-_-)” Hyunjae responded “Uh *chuckles* right” said Se Hun. Hyunjae looked at him from head to toe and looked at him “You really changed. I mean, REALLY!” she beamed, Se Hun smirked and said “I decided to change for a certain someone to notice it” “Oh? You have someone you already like? Who is it?” she asked “Uh, heh, it’s a secret” he answered “EH!? Hmpf, you really did change. You used to share your secrets with me but now you’re keeping something from me” she said “Eh? Then shall I change back to the Se Hun you used to know?” Se Hun asked “Nah, I think it’s better if you remained like this I mean, right now you’re popular and it looks like you’ve gained self-confidence already so you’re alright already and don’t need me to take care of you anymore ^^” Hyunjae responded “Uh?” Se Hun felt a little pain hearing what Hyunjae said then

“Well, this is where I’ll go, see you tomorrow Se Hun” Hyunjae said then she continued her way but then “Hyunjae!” Se Hun called and she turned to him “I-Is it okay if I eat lunch together with you tomorrow?” he asked, Hyunjae smiled and said “SURE!” then she continued her way. Se Hun smiled and he felt his heart beating fast then “Uh, I forgot to tell her something”

                Hyunjae almost reached her house when suddenly, someone grabbed her from behind and covered “MMMMMFMFMFMFM!” she proclaimed, she suddenly gave the person a punch on the chin then she grabbed his arm and flipped him over and when he fell on the ground, she placed her foot on top of his stomach

“Who are you?” she said but then “Ouch, I did not expect that” a familiar voice said, Hyunjae took the guy’s mask off an realized that it was Minhyun

“H-Hwang Minhyun?” she said, Minhyun stood up and said “Surprise Test: PASS!” “Surprise test?” she wondered “Yep, well see ya” Minhyun said as he was about to leave but then “What the heck? That really scared me! I thought I was about to die!” Hyunjae proclaimed “Uh” Minhyun turned to her and when she faced him, she was crying “HWANG MINHYUN YOU IDIOT!” she cried “Uh? Why are you crying?” Minhyun asked as he felt a little bit disturbed “I was really scared! STUPID! OF COURSE I WOULD CRY! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!” she proclaimed, Minhyun sighed then he went near her and suddenly hugged her and patted her

“Alright, I’m sorry okay? I didn’t mean to scare you, it was only a test” he said but Hyunjae continued to cry “Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.” She would continually say that while crying, “Fine, if I said that I’m stupid will you stop crying? Sheesh” he said and Hyunjae kept quiet while she was still crying

They weren’t aware that someone actually saw them…

                When Hyunjae stopped crying, “Sorry again, okay?” he said “Tch, stupid!” she proclaimed then she ran towards her house “Uh? Is that how you thank someone after comforting you? Tch” he mumbled then he turned around and continued his way
“Come to think of it, why did I suddenly hug her?” he asked himself, suddenly

“Hwang Minhyun!” someone called him, he turned around and saw Se Hun “Uh?” he wondered “I challenge you to a duel!” he proclaimed “HA?”

Dear Diary,

                Hello there, it’s me (^o^) today, a precious friend of mine from middle school transferred to our school and guess what? He changed a lot. I mean, A LOT. When we were still in middle school, he used to wear big-framed glasses that made him look plain but there was a time that I saw him without glasses and he looked really handsome. Now, he’s my classmate again and he turns out to be a MODEL! I’m really happy for him, before he used to be shy and didn’t have a lot of self-confidence and he always made me worried but now, he seems to be popular and it really makes me happy ^^

What even made me happier is that even though he physically changed, he still treats me the same way as before ^^ I’m so happy, hanging out with him and with Eunmi, Ren and Hwang Minhyun will be really fun! I’m actually looking forward to it ^^

And oh, speaking of Hwang Minhyun, on my way home he suddenly did a surprised test by ‘attempting to kidnap me’ in the end, he got beaten up by me though *proud of herself* (^o^)v but I was also really mad at him because I actually thought I was going to get kidnapped. I was so scared that I ended up crying but it was a good thing that he was the only one there though, it also shocked me because he suddenly hugged me (O___O) but I guess he does that to every girl who would end up seriously crying right in front of him especially when he’s at fault

Well, this is all for today. I’ll write again tomorrow (^^)

                The next day, “Good Morning Ms. Hyunjae!” the students greeted “Good Morning ^^” Hyunjae responded then she entered the classroom and saw Minhyun sleeping on his desk. She went to her seat, placed her bag on her chair then sat down and turned to Minhyun

“Good morning stupid torture king” she said but he didn’t respond “Uh?” she wondered then “Good Morning Hyunjae~” Ren greeted as he was about to hug her but then Eunmi grabbed his uniform and threw him back to his seat “Good Morning Hyunjae ^^” she greeted “M-hm, Good Morning (^^||)” Hyunjae responded.

When Se Hun entered the classroom, his and Hyunjae’s eyes met “Good Morning ^^” she greeted. Se Hun smiled and greeted “Good Morning” as well then he went to his seat

“Uh? Since when did the two of you become close?” Eunmi asked ‘Eunmi, I told you, he’s the glasses prince in middle school” said Hyunjae “EH? But, he really doesn’t look like it but since the two of you are comfortable with each other then maybe he is?” Eunmi said then “Would you two keep quiet? I’m sleeping over here” Minhyun inserted with his face still facing his desk.

“Oh, so you’re alive. I thought you were dead” said Eunmi and Hyunjae chuckled but Minhyun ignored them. Moments later, the teacher came in and class started.

                During lunch time, “Hyunjae, let’s go” Eunmi said as she, Ren and Minhyun were waiting for her outside the classroom “Ah, coming!” she said as she was about to leave but then she remembered what Se Hun said yesterday about eating lunch together. She turned to him and noticed that he was alone, reading a text book. She went near him and said “You said that we’ll eat lunch together, right?” Se Hun was surprised and he looked up to her “Uh” he said then he smiled.

At the cafeteria, while the five of them were eating…

“Hey look, the five of them are together” “Hwang-Geum Jangmi Academy’s Ice Queen & Chairman’s Princess plus two famous idols from NU’EST and the Model are in one table, eating lunch together!” “It feels as if they are in their own world” “Huwaaaa~ I’m actually envious, the five of them look so cool together” “I know right?”

                Meanwhile… “What the heck? Ice Queen? Do they see me as a cold hearted person? (-’_‘-)” Eunmi complained “I agree. They should’ve called you violent queen” Ren responded “Why you little…” Eunmi said as she was about to smack Ren but then she realized what she was about to do “Oh no, Hyunjae, am I really violent?” she asked “Umm… sort of” Hyunjae replied “NOOOOOO (´Д`)” she cried to herself and Ren rolled his eyes then he noticed that Hyunjae was looking at Minhyun and Se Hun who seemed both quiet and weren’t talking to each other

“What’s wrong?” Ren asked “I feel like there’s something going on between those two” Hyunjae whispered. Ren looked at them as well and he felt a scary competing atmosphere between the two “Woah” he said “Why? What is it?” Hyunjae asked “You don’t want to know, it’s scary” Ren replied “Uh?” Hyunjae wondered

Se Hun, on the other hand, while eating kept on stealing glances from Minhyun

“Tch, I seriously despise this guy” he said to himself as he remembered what happened yesterday after seeing Minhyun hug Hyunjae

Flashback:

“Hwang Minhyun!” someone called him, he turned around and saw Se Hun “Uh?” he wondered “I challenge you to a duel!” he proclaimed “HA?”

“You heard me, I’m challenging you! I don’t know why but I despise you” Se Hun said “Really? I have nothing to say about you though so go have that duel with someone else” Minhyun said in an uninterested tone and he walked ahead but then “YOU! What’s your relationship with Hyunjae?!” Se Hun questioned, Minhyun turned to him and smirked “Why should I tell you? My relationship with her is none of your business” he said. Se Hun felt a bit irritated “Y-You… don’t you know? I’ve known Hyunjae since middle school. I know what she likes and what she doesn’t like so there’s no way you can compete against me!” he proclaimed “So what? Isn’t that up to her to choose? Anyway, I’m not really interested in romance and stuff so stop misunderstanding things. That girl is just my servant, that’s all” Minhyun responded

“S-Servant!? How can that be? Hyunjae won’t give in to someone like you! She’s a person who won’t easily be swayed by someone” said Se Hun, Minhyun smirked again and said “I thought you’ve known her since middle school? Sounds like you don’t know her at all” “W-What?” Se Hun said then “I’m leaving, don’t bother me again” Minhyun said as he left

“Don’t know her at all? What the heck is he talking about?” Se Hun asked himself

“Darn it, after saying those words to me I really feel like he knows a lot more about Hyunjae than I do. Tch” he added, he wasn’t aware that he was killing his food already until

“Se Hun, calm down” Hyunjae said and he snapped out of it “Hyunjae?” he wondered, he looked at his plate and the food was already messed up then “Tch” Minhyun then sneered and Se Hun caught him in the act

“T-That punk, he actually sneered at me!” –Se Hun

                During the afternoon, it was PE time and the girls and boys were separated. In the girl’s side, the center of attention was no other than the ice queen, Eunmi, who is also good in sports and while playing volleyball, her team was winning.

“Go Eunmi!” Hyunjae cheered from the sides “How cute, Ms. Hyunjae is cheering for her best friend ^^” “They’re both so cute (>w<)” the girls whispered

And with one final smash, Eunmi’s team won and Hyunjae went near her and congratulated her “Good job!” she proclaimed then she gave her a bottled water and a towel “Thank you Hyunjae ^^” Eunmi responded

“Kyaaa~ they’re both so cute that I couldn’t help myself but think that they would look good together as a GirlxGirl couple (>w<)” “You got that one right!” the girls squealed suddenly

“WOOOOOAAAAH!” they heard the guys’ loud cheering voices “The guys are having basketball as their PE right?” one girl asked “Yup” Another replied suddeny

“H-Hey girls, you won’t believe what’s going on in the boys’ basketball game!” a girl beamed and after she told them what was happening, the girls immediately rushed to the basketball court “Hyunjae! You’re going too?” Eunmi asked as she saw Hyunjae following the crowd “Why not? Let’s watch it ^^” Hyunjae responded. Eunmi sighed and went as well

                When they got there, they saw the one on one game of Minhyun and Se Hun

“Woah, they’re so cool!” “Minhyun oppa, fighting!” “Se Hun oppa, you can win it!”

The two girls spotted Ren and they went near him “Hey, what’s going on?” Eunmi asked “Oh, Se Hun suddenly challenged Minhyun to a one-on-one basketball game” Ren replied “Eh? Why?” Hyunjae asked “Who knows. Se Hun looked like he really wanted to beat Minhyun but I’m more surprised as to why Minhyun agreed” said Ren “Uh” Hyunjae said then she looked at them.

Se Hun was playing seriously while Minhyun looked like he was just playing to pass time “So who’s in the lead?” Eunmi asked “Who else? Minhyun, of course! That guy Se Hun, even though he looks well build, his stamina isn’t pretty good” Ren replied “For how long have they been playing?” Hyunjae asked “About 45 minutes” Ren answered and Hyunjae snapped “Uh?” Eunmi wondered suddenly

“STOP THE GAME!” Hyunjae proclaimed, everyone was surprised and they all turned to her. The two guys also stopped when they heard Hyunjae’s voice, she went to the court and grabbed the ball from Minhyun

“H-Hey, wait-” but then Hyunjae turned to where Se Hun was, he was having a hard time breathing. “H-Hyunjae” he said as he looked at her and stood up straight but then she suddenly smacked him on the head and it shocked the students “H-Hyunjae!” Eunmi proclaimed but then Hyunjae grabbed his hand and dragged him back in the building

“Oi, what was that about? Why did Ms. Hyunjae suddenly smack Se Hun?” “I don’t know, but don’t you think that those two might have something between them?” “You mean a secret relationship?” but then “Shut up!” Minhyun proclaimed and they were silenced

“M-Minhyun?” Ren wondered “Tch” he said then he suddenly left, Eunmi then noticed something “Hmm…” she said

                Meanwhile, at the infirmary, “Idiot! Don’t get up!” Hyunjae proclaimed as she pushed Se Hun down on the bed again “But Hyunjae, really, I’m fine” he said but then Hyunjae glared at him and said “Do you want me to tie you up?” with a threatening look “*gulp* never mind, I’ll obey” he said as he obediently lied down while Hyunjae decided to prepare a glass of water for him

“You really are an idiot, you know that you have poor stamina ever since middle school plus, you’re asthmatic and now you’re challenging Hwang Minhyun? Do you realize how good he is?” she said “But Hyunjae, I’ve been trying to tell you! I’ve really changed, I mean, it’s pretty obvious that I’m not that glasses prince anymore. I’m a model and my stamina is-” “Have you forgotten about that asthma attack you had!?” Hyunjae proclaimed and Se Hun was silenced

When Hyunjae turned to him, he was shocked to see a sad face. she went near him and placed the glass of water on the table beside the bed then she sat down

“Did you seriously think that I wasn’t worried about what happened to you before? I was so scared, you were even absent for a few days and oppa wouldn’t let me see you but after finding out that you were okay and when I saw you entering the school gates that day…”
“You ran out of the classroom and went near me and hugged me really tightly.” Se Hun continued “Uh?” Hyunjae wondered, he smiled and said “I know, I remember that day. That’s why I decided to become like this because I didn’t want to worry anymore. This time, I want to be the one to protect you since it’s different now but when I came and found out how close you’ve been to that Hwang Minhyun, I actually felt mad and jealous that’s why I decided to challenge him but in the end, I still lost. That was so pathetic of me” Se Hun said as he forced a laugh but then Hyunjae patted him on the head and he turned to her

“To tell you the truth, seeing you so serious like that a while ago really moved me, so I don’t think it was pathetic at all ^^” she said as then she smiled at him and he suddenly blushed, he felt his heart beating fast again

“Ah, I should go ahead first, I still have classes” Hyunjae said as she stood up but then Se Hun suddenly hugged her from behind “Uh?” she wondered “Se Hun?”

“Don’t go” he said, still hugging her.
“W-What are you talking about? I still have classes and-”
“Hyunjae, I like you!” he proclaimed and Hyunjae was stunned “W-What?”

Suddenly, the door opened and Minhyun was there which surprised the two even more “U-Uh?” he said as he saw them “E-EEEEEH!? (O///O)”

Author's Note: Okay, umm, so first of all I've decided to add Se Hun to this story as a permanent character as well. I'll just edit out the foreword later, kekekeke~ (^o^)
The glasses prince who turned into a model suddenly came back and is jealous of Minhyun. Not only that, he suddenly confessed to the person he really likes but what will happen if he finds out that the person Hyunjae likes isn't Minhyun but is actually the Student Council President? Tune in to the next chapter~ Ohohohoho XD
