Chapter Two

                The next morning, when Hyunjae arrived at the academy…

“Good Morning Hyunjae-ssi ^^” the students whom she passed by would greet her and she would smile back. “Aha~ so pretty” “As expected of the princess”

Hyunjae arrived at her classroom and Eunmi was already there “Morning ^^” she greeted “Hey~ how did you sleep last night?” Eunmi asked “Okay, why did you ask?” said Hyunjae “Oh nothing, I was afraid that the demon king took a visit to your dream and gave you nightmares” said Eunmi then

“Who is the demon king again?” a guy asked

“HWANG MINHYUN!” Eunmi proclaimed “Uh?” the two girls wondered. They turned around and saw Minhyun and Ren and behind them were their fans. Hyunjae suddenly felt nervous that she looked away

“Oh, it’s the demon king (-_-)” said Eunmi “Tch” Minhyun said then “Hey don’t call Minhyun a demon king you… you girl who acts like a guy!” Ren proclaimed “Heh, I knew it. No wonder I get pissed when I look at you, you are the complete opposite of me” said Eunmi

“Uh?” Ren wondered. Eunmi went near him and grabbed his collar “You want to fight?” she said “E-Eh?” Ren said. While the two were busy quarreling, Hyunjae wasn’t aware that Minhyun was already behind her until

“Hey” he said as he touched her on the shoulder and she suddenly yelped “GAH!” and the students turned to them “Oi what’s with you?” Minhyun said as he felt a bit irritated “S-Sorry, I was just-” but before Hyunjae could continue what she was saying

“Hyunjae-sunbae!” a first year student called as he entered their classroom and they turned to him “What is it?” Hyunjae said as she went near him “I-It’s bad, one of the girls… she’s being harassed by the seniors!” the freshman proclaimed “What?” Hyunjae said then she immediately left the room

“Uh, wait Hyunjae!” Eunmi proclaimed as she was about to go after her but then Minhyun stopped her “I’ll go after her” he said then he left as well “Uh?” both Ren and Eunmi wondered.

                In Hyunjae’s case, when she and the freshman arrived at the back part of the school “Huh? Where’s the girl being harassed?” Hyunjae asked as she turned to the freshman but then he suddenly ran off “What the?” she wondered then

“Stupid girl, we bribed that guy to lure you in” a guy said. Hyunjae looked back and saw five huge guys “D-Delinquents? Oh shoot. Don’t cry Hyunjae, don’t cry” she said in her thoughts

“So the princess actually came” the leader of the delinquents said but Hyunjae didn’t respond. She was forcing herself to not talk because if she does, she might cry

“Don’t worry Hyunjae, you can do this. Be tough, be tough!”

“Hey, you’re not talking? What? Are we not worthy to talk with the princess? Tch, you seriously piss me off!” the guy said as he raised his hand and was about to hit Hyunjae but then PACK!

Hyunjae opened her eyes and was wondering why she didn’t feel any pain, in fact, she felt nothing at all but then she was surprised to see Minhyun right in front of her and looks like he got punched near the eye and it was slightly bleeding

“Y-You” she said “Argh, seriously that hurt” he said then he turned to the delinquents “Hey gorillas, why are you trying to pick on a girl like her? Are you guys gay or something? Men don’t pick fights with girls” he added. The leader suddenly got irritated “You brat! Don’t talk back to us like that!” he said as he was about to punch Minhyun again but then Hyunjae kicked him on the stomach and he fell on the ground

She went near him and grabbed him by the collar and she gave him a death glare “You airheads better get lost if you don’t want me to ship you to Alaska. I can do that you know” she said as she looked threatening “L-Let’s go!” the leader said then he and his companions left. When they were gone, Hyunjae suddenly fell on the ground “H-Hey!” Minhyun said as he went near her

“Are you okay?” he asked but then “WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! (TT ^ TT) that was really scary! I even kicked him in the stomach and told him that I’ll ship him to Alaska, that was wrong! I’m sorry!” she cried

“(=_=) W-Why are you apologizing?” he asked “Because what I did was wrong (T_T)” Hyunjae responded. Minhyun released a sigh then he made her stand up “Thanks” she said then

“GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” she cried “What? What is it?” Minhyun said as he was checking his surroundings but then “Y-You’re bleeding” Hyunjae said as she pointed at the wound near the eye “Oh” he said.

                At the infirmary, “Jeez, there’s no need for you to worry about this” Minhyun said as Hyunjae was treating his wound “You’re a singer and you shouldn’t get injuries like this… it was also my fault that you got punched so I’m sorry” said Hyunjae “Yeah, if you weren’t about to cry at that time I wouldn’t have come and saved you” said Minhyun

“Uh, how did you know that I was about to cry?” Hyunjae asked
“Your legs were shivering though those idiots probably didn’t notice it because they were busy looking at your face” Minhyun replied
“Is that so? (=_=)” said Hyunjae.

After the trip to the infirmary, “Darn it. We’ve skipped first period and we’ll be late for the second one” Hyunjae said as she looked at her watch then

“Hey, thanks” Minhyun said “Uh?” Hyunjae wondered as she turned to him

“A while ago, when that guy was about to punch me… you kicked him and yelled at him… that was pretty tough of you and… *blush* it was kindda cool” he added but when he turned to Hyunjae, she was already crying

“What the heck? Why are you crying?” he said as he was worried

“T-This is nothing, it’s just that… you made me remind of those things and I was really scared (TT.TT)” Hyunjae responded “I-Is that so? (^’_‘^)” Minhyun said then he hit her on the head

“OUCH! (TT_TT)” she cried “Idiot! I told you I get annoyed when I see a girl cry, sheesh!” Minhyun proclaimed then he walked ahead “H-hey wait!” Hyunjae said as she ran after him

                During lunch time, while Hyunjae was fixing her things Eunmi suddenly slammed her palm on her desk which made her jump inside, she looked up and tilted her head

“Where were you during the first period and explain why you and that demon king were late for the second period and why does he have a wound on his forehead?” Eunmi suddenly asked her all these questions. Hyunjae looked back and noticed that Minhyun was busy being surrounded by a crowd of girls (PS: He looked pissed) then she turned to Eunmi

“I’ll tell you everything, but not here” she said as she stood up and went outside, Eunmi followed as well. They arrived at the school garden and stayed in the gazebo, there weren’t any people around because during lunch time, most of the students would prefer to eat at the cafeteria

Hyunjae told Eunmi everything and after that “Eh? So you mean that demon king got hurt because he took the punch for you?” Eunmi asked and Hyunjae nodded her head in reply “I see, so that guy’s not a demon king after all huh, I think I might stop calling him demon king” Eunmi mumbled “P-Please do (^_^||)” said Hyunjae then

RING~RING~RING~RING Hyunjae’s phone rang, she looked at the caller and it was an unknown number, she answered the call and…

-Phone Convo-

Guy: Hey you! How dare you escape from me!?
Hyunjae: Uh? Hwang Minhyun?
Guy: Who else? Hey, I thought it was clear that you’ll have to do anything that I say right? Where the heck are you!? Come back here and bring me something to eat!
Hyunjae: Alright! Sheesh *hangs up*

-End of Phone Convo-

“Uh, are you okay Hyunjae?” Eunmi asked, Hyunjae smiled and said “I’m fine. Eunmi, I’ll go ahead first okay? I forgot that I have some business to finish” “Uh okay?” Eunmi responded then Hyunjae left

“That girl is always weird” Eunmi said to herself and she released a sigh.

                When Hyunjae arrived at the rooftop, she saw Minhyun lying on the ground and looking at the sky. She went near him and blocked his view “Uh?” he wondered then he sat up “You’re here” he added “Tch, here’s your food (=_=)” Hyunjae said as she gave Minhyun some food. “Aha~ good girl, just like a servant” he said as he started eating

“So when he meant by becoming ‘his’ he really meant ‘servant’ argsh, no wonder I suddenly felt like something wasn’t right”Hyunjae said in her thoughts then

PAK! Minhyun hit her on the head “W-What was that for?” she said as she turned to him “You were spacing out you idiot, I feel like you were cursing me in your thoughts” he said “Tch, I don’t know how to curse” said Hyunjae “Oh? Is that so? Then do you want me to teach you?” Minhyun said with a grin on his face “N-No thank you” Hyunjae responded

“Seriously, this guy is scary”she said to herself. While Minhyun was still eating, Hyunjae got bored so she decided to write in her diary but she made sure that Minhyun wouldn’t find out that she was going to write. She looked at him and noticed that he was busy reading something “Hmm” she said then “Hey, I’m going to do some studying over there, okay?” she said but Minhyun didn’t pay attention to her. She released a sigh and went over to the other side

Dear Diary,

                You wouldn’t believe what happened to me today, this morning a freshman went to our classroom and asked for my help because his girl classmate was being ‘harassed’ by a bunch of guys from the senior class. I was really afraid because of the news but I had to put my cowardly side behind because someone needed my help. I followed the freshman but when I arrived there, it turned out to be a trap. It was really scary because I almost got punched by the leader of the delinquents but then this so called ‘prince charming’ came and took the punch for me. I was really scared because he got hurt. He even talked back to those delinquents and he was going to get punched again but I suddenly kicked that delinquent’s stomach.

I really felt scared because I can sense that the delinquent was very mad. I felt like crying that time when I kicked him because I was really scared but he also made me mad. I also told him that I’ll send him off to Alaska if he ever bothers us again and it sort of scared him since he ran away.

Waaaah~ that was really scary but still. I can’t believe I was able to do it. And oh, that Alaska part? Well it was pretty obvious that it was a bluff

“EH? So it wasn’t true?” Hyunjae turned around and was shocked to see Minhyun right behind her and he was reading her diary again. She pushed him away and moved backwards “W-What are you doing!?” she proclaimed “Tch, you don’t have to hide anything from me you idiot, I already know your real side” said Minhyun “B-But reading something private like a diary is… is trespassing!” Hyunjae proclaimed

“Trespassing?” Minhyun wondered then he started to laugh “W-What’s so funny?” Hyunjae asked but Minhyun continued to laugh “YAH!” Hyunjae proclaimed as she was starting to get irritated. Minhyun was trying to stop himself from laughing and turned to her

“You… give me that diary” he said “E-Eh?” Hyunjae wondered “I said give me that diary” Minhyun repeated but Hyunjae made sure that the diary was kept safe “Uh? Oh I see” Minhyun said then he smirked and walked towards her

“Hyunjae, give me the diary” he said “W-Why should I give this to you?” Hyunjae responded “You want to become strong right? How can you become strong if you keep things to yourself and won’t tell me. Give it to me and we’ll share your secret” said Minhyun “S-Share?” Hyunjae wondered

“This is bad, this is really bad. There is now freaking way I’m giving my diary to that guy. I mean, he treats me like his slave. He’ll probably make fun of me if he reads my diary. NO WAYYYY!” –Hyunjae

“Give” Minhyun said but Hyunjae shook her head and continued to move backward until her back hit the ball

“Crap” she murmured then “Look do we have here, cornered like a helpless cat” Minhyun said as he continued to walk towards her then he grabbed the diary from her

“Hey!” she proclaimed as she tried to get it back but he wouldn’t give it to her. Minhyun was having fun teasing her because she looked like a kid while she was trying to retrieve the diary from him, he laughed then

“Okay, I had enough” he said as he gave the diary back to her “Uh?” she wondered “Hey, as your master I order you not to keep any secrets from me but I will let you decided if you want to let me read that diary of yours or if you want me to forcefully take it from you” he added

“Eh? What does he mean by that?”Hyunjae asked herself then she looked at her diary and turned to Minhyun who was waiting for her move

“If I let him read my diary, he’ll laugh. But he said that if I want to become stronger, I should share my secrets with him. Argh, seriously, what should I do?” –Hyunjae

Hyunjae kept thinking and thinking, moments later she released a sigh and gave her diary to Minhyun “D-Don’t laugh, okay?” she said “Uh?” Minhyun wondered, he smiled and received the diary “I won’t” he added and Hyunjae slightly blushed “Okay, I probably will” he said “EH!?” Hyunjae proclaimed

During the next period, Hyunjae felt a disturbing presence behind her, she looked back and saw Minhyun glaring at her (O_O)

Minhyun showed her a part of her diary that had a drawing of him with an ugly face, Hyunjae remembered that she drew that yesterday when she got mad at him for talking back at her and she apologized then looked away.

                After class, “Hey servant!” Minhyun proclaimed and Hyunjae slowly turned to him then he grabbed her head and shook it back and forth “What the heck was with that drawing? (=_=)” he said as he sounded a bit pissed

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to draw that! (T_T)” Hyunjae immediately apologized “Hm?” Minhyun said as he raised his brow then he shook her head back and forth once more “Idiot! You shouldn’t be talking like that, we’re in a public place!” he quietly proclaimed. “Uh?” Hyunjae wondered as she looked around and realized that their classmates were looking at them

“Uh” Hyunjae said then she moved away from him

“Hyunjae-ssi, is Minhyun bothering you?” “Hyunjae-ssi, you look pale. Did he do something to you?” “Hey Hwang Minhyun, even though you are famous you should still show some respect to our class rep and the chairman’s daughter”

“Stop it everyone” Hyunjae said and they all turned to her “Hwang Minhyun didn’t do anything okay? We were just talking about something and that is… he will become my body guard!” Hyunjae proclaimed and all of them went (*o*) while Minhyun, Ren and Eunmi went (=o=)

“Hwang Minhyun as Hyunjae’s body guard?” “Wow, that’s so cool! But instead of a body guard, he should be the prince” “Hmm, I agree. He seems more of a prince than a body guard” “I see, Hyunjae-ssi picked the right guy!” “That’s Hyunjae-ssi for you”

“Seems like they bought it” Hyunjae mumbled to herself and when she turned to Minhyun, his face went (=’_‘=)

“Y-Yikes (>…<)”

“Oi you-” Minhyun said as he was about to grab her head and shake it again but then “Hyunjae!” the secretary from the student council called her “Uh? Aya?” she wondered “Student Council meeting, did you forget?” the secretary, Aya, said. “Ah, of course! I’ll be on my way” Hyunjae responded “Hurry up okay?” Aya said then she went ahead.

Hyunjae packed her things then she turned to Minhyun, Eunmi and Ren

“I’ll go ahead, Eunmi, text me if you’ll wait for me, okay?” Hyunjae said “Okay!” Eunmi responded then Hyunjae quickly left

“Seatmate Hyunjae is part of the student council?” Ren asked “Yup, she’s the Vice Pres.” Eunmi replied “E-EH!? V-VICE PRES!?” Ren exclaimed “Vice pres. huh?”  Minhyun said to himself then “I bet that girl is really excited to go there, she hasn’t seen that guy for almost 2 weeks already” said Eunmi “Uh?” both Ren and Minhyun said as they turned to her “What do you mean?” Ren asked “The President” Eunmi replied “President?” both Minhyun and Ren wondered.

                Hyunjae arrived at the student council room and opened the door, when she entered the room she saw the student council president reading a book and he was all alone. “Uh” she said as she blushed then went near him

“D-Daehyun sunbae” she said. The president heard her, he turned to her and smiled which made her blush even more. He stood up and went near her

“It’s been a long time Hyunjae ^^” he said “T-Two weeks wasn’t that long” Hyunjae replied. She felt her heart beating fast “What do you mean by it wasn’t that long? I haven’t seen you for a while and I really missed you” Daehyun said and he patted her on the head
“Shoot, I think I’m going to have a nosebleed attack (>w<)” Hyunjae thought then “Enough with being lovey dovey you too, the other members are here” Aya said as she and the others entered the room “We weren’t being lovey dovey” said Hyunjae “Aha, yeah right (:P)” Aya responded.

                Moments later, the student council meeting started. Meanwhile, “Minhyun, aren’t we going home yet?” Ren asked as he sat in front of Minhyun “We don’t have any schedules for this month so it’s okay if we go home late, besides, I miss hanging out in school” Minhyun replied “Tch, I bet you just want to wait for seatmate Hyunjae” said Ren “Heh, Ren” Minhyun said and Ren turned to him, suddenly, Minhyun pinched his cheeks really hard and said “Don’t say such things (=_=)”

“Alright, but Minhyun, can I ask you something?” Ren said
“What is it?” Minhyun responded
“Why are you suddenly close with Hyunjae-ssi? I mean, this is the first time I’ve seen you being close with a girl, so why?” Ren asked
Minhyun smirked then he looked outside the window and “That girl… she’s an interesting person that’s why” “Huh?” Ren wondered “Sorry Ren, but I can’t tell you about the details” Minhyun added “Oh, I see *smile* if that’s the case, Ren will try to be friends with that girl-guy Eunmi!” Ren beamed suddenly Ren got hit by a bag

“YAH!” he cried “Who the heck are you calling a girl-guy you idiot!? (=’_‘=)” Eunmi proclaimed “Oh shoot, she heard me” Ren mumbled then he suddenly ran away “YAH! COME BACK HERE!” Eunmi proclaimed as she ran after him.

Minhyun released a sigh and continued to look outside the window. After the student council meeting, Daehyun and Hyunjae decided to go out of the room together

“So you’re going straight home already? How’s the chairman?” Daehyun asked
“Yeah, uh, Daddy’s doing fine as usual, how about uncle?” Hyunjae responded
“Dad’s okay too though he has been attending a lot of business meetings lately” said Daehyun “I see” said Hyunjae then “Uh, Hyunjae…” Daehyun said as he pointed at someone, Hyunjae turned to where he pointed and she went (O_O) when she saw Minhyun at the school gate and he was waiting for someone

“Wait right here” Hyunjae said then she went near Minhyun “Uh, oi servant” Minhyun said as she approached him “(=.=) M-Minhyun, what are you doing here?” she asked “Isn’t it obvious? I was waiting for you” Minhyun responded “E-Eh?” Hyunjae wondered

“Is this it? Could this be… a change of heart? (*o*) Hwang Minhyun waited for a girl, wow” Hyunjae thought to herself while making an (*o*) face then Minhyun hit her on the head
“Hey! (>3<)” she cried
“You were making a stupid face and I didn’t wait for you because of no reason, I’m hungry so you better treat me to something to eat” Minhyun said
“Alright” Hyunjae responded as she rubbed her head “The role of a slave (T_T)” then “Hyunjae?” Daehyun inserted “Shoot, I forgot that Daehyun was with me” the two turned to him and Daehyun looked at Minhyun then he turned to Hyunjae

“Boyfriend?” he asked and Hyunjae went (=[]=) “N-No way! This guy is not my boyfriend, he’s just a classmate!” Hyunjae proclaimed “Oh, I see” Daehyun said then he turned to Minhyun “You’re a new student right? I’ve heard a lot about you from my classmates since they’re your fans” he said “Well you can’t help being famous” said Minhyun. Daehyun chuckled and said “You’re right” then he turned to Hyunjae “I’ll be going ahead, it seems like the two of you still have a lot of things to talk about. I’ll see you this Saturday” he said, Hyunjae blushed and nodded her head “M-hm, see ya” she said. Daehyun smiled and patted her on the head then he left

Hyunjae’s heart was beating fast and she was smiling so happily but then PACK! Minhyun hit her on the head again “What was that for!? (>.<)” she cried “You were making another stupid face, it was annoying” Minhyun responded then he walked ahead “Hey wait up!” Hyunjae followed

                At the ice cream shop, “By the way, why were you waiting for me?” Hyunjae asked “Oh that, Ren suddenly left the classroom after Eunmi chased him and until now, he hasn’t come back” Minhyun replied “I-I see” Hyunjae responded “That Eunmi, she won’t give up until  she makes sure that she’s contented with a person being tormented… scary (=_=)”

Then, “By the way, who was that guy a while ago?” Minhyun asked “Uh, you mean you don’t know who that guy was?” Hyunjae responded “Stupid, how should I know? I just attended the school yesterday and you didn’t even introduce me to him” said Minhyun “A-Ah right, well that was Jung Daehyun. He’s the student council president” Hyunjae responded

“Student council president? So he’s the guy you like?” Minhyun asked with an expressionless face “E-Eh!? (=///=) N-No, I don’t like him” said Hyunjae “Really?” Minhyun said then he turned to her and gave her a threatening look “Are you lying to your master?” he said in a scary voice “I’m sorry, I did not mean to lie. Forgive me master (TT___TT)” Hyunjae cried “Tch” Minhyun said then he turned away.

There was a silence between them, then “Oh by the way… you said that you wanted to talk to me about something. What was that?” Hyunjae asked “Oh, that…” Minhyun said then he gave her a threatening look again “What the heck was that all about with me being your body guard?” he added

“WAAAAH, SO SCARY (>.<)” Hyunjae cried.

                Moments later “I’m really sorry, I did not mean to assign you as my body guard” Hyunjae apologized –she got hit by Minhyun again by the way
“Hmm, I think it’s okay since from now on I’ll be helping you in becoming strong but… if ever there’s the two of us, don’t forget… YOU ARE MY SLAVE AND I AM YOUR MASTER, GOT THAT?” he said with a threatening look and Hyunjae nodded her head while crying.

When Hyunjae arrived at her house, she threw herself on the bed and looked at the ceiling “I got hit a lot by Hwang Minhyun today and on top of that, Daehyun mistook him as my boyfriend (T^T) but… I’m really happy” she said to herself. She sat up and opened her bag to get her diary but…

“OH NO, IT’S NOT HEREEEE! (=[]=)” she cried  then she started to look around in her room but “NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! IT’S GONE! (TT [] TT)” suddenly

BEEP~ her phone beeped, she looked at it and it was a message from Minhyun

(1 Message)
From: Hwang Minhyun
“Hey servant, in case you forget, you’re diary is with me. I’ll return it tomorrow. Good night”

And Hyunjae went (._____.)
