It’s Been A Week And The Rumors Of Tiffany And Nickhun Were Still Swirling Around The Public.  

But It’s Also Been A Whole Week Since I Slept Peacefully.  

I’ve Been Have Too Many Nightmares Because I Was Worried For Tiffany’s Sake.

Nothing Worse Than The Same Rumor Has Happened Yet, But I Knew Fans Could Get Riled Up Some Day.

One Wrong Post And Nickhun’s Fans Might Target Her, Just Like Before

I Decided To Go Outside And Get Some Fresh Air And While I Was Outside,

I Saw Tiffany On The Front Porch Staring Out Into The Open Sky.  

Still A Bright Blue From The Afternoon Sun. So I Went Over To Talk To Her.

“Are You Okay?” I Asked As I Sat Next To Tiffany

 

“No,” She Glanced At Me, “They're Just Getting More And More Worse.”

 

“I Know, I Heard About The Rumors Of You And Nickhun” I Said, “What's Going To Happen Now?”

 

“They All Want Me And Him To Say That We ARE Dating Tomorrow!” Tiffany Said As She Put Her Hands On Her Face.

 

“What?! Lie?!” I Said, “They Can’t Do That! It’s Just Not Fair!”

 

“Yeah, I Don’t Want To Say I Love Nickhun, Because I’m In Love With Someone Else” Tiffany Said

 

“You Are?” I Asked “Who Is It?”

 

Tiffany Looked Straight At Me In The Eyes.  

 

“The Person I’m In Love With Is… ” Tiffany Paused And Looked At Me, “It’s You, Jada”

 

“Oh… Wait A Minute, What?!” I Said In Shock, “Me?”

 

“Yes, I Fell In Love With You Since You First Moved In” Tiffany Said, “I Wanted To Tell You My Feelings Since Then”

 

I Turned Away And Wrenched My Eyes Away From Her.  

A Bitter Taste Filled My Mouth As I Stared Down At The Ground

 

“I’ve Never Heard A Girl Say She’s In Love With Me Before, I Don't Know If I Am The Perfect Girlfriend For Her.” I Said

 

Then Tiffany Grabbed My Shoulders, She Forced Me To Look At Her,

“You Don't Have To Be Jada, You’re Already The Perfect Girl For Me.” Tiffany Said

 

“I-I-I… I Don’t Know What To Say” I Said

 

“I Was Hoping You'd Say Something Cute,” She Flashed Me A Watery Smile. “We Can’t Be Together, Right?”

 

“Yeah” I Said

 

“So Just For Tonight...Let’s Pretend Nothing Else Is Going On And Respond To Me.” Tiffany Said As She Held My Hands.

 

“I-I… I Don’t Know…” I Paused With Tears In My Eyes

 

“Please, Jada?” Tiffany Begged, “It Would Be Very Special To Me”

 

“Okay” I Leaned Forward And Held Her Close

 

“Good,” Tiffany Said And Started To Relaxed Into My Arms.

“...Oh, That’s Funny,” I Croaked, “I Feel… More In Love And Heartbroken.”

 

“So Am I, Jada” Tiffany Sniffled, “But At Least I'm Not Stuck With A 'What If',

Or I Wouldn’t Spend The Rest Of My Life Wondering If You Felt The Same Way For Me.”

 

“I Don't Know If These Are Tears Of Joy Or Tears Of Sadness.” I Said

 

Tears Ran Down Our Faces.

Each Rivulet Traced A Path Of Despair On Our Skin.

 

“It Can Be Both,” Tiffany Whispered.

After Minutes Of Cuddles, We Pulled Away From Our Big Hug,

 

“Well, I Should Probably Head Back Home” I Said

 

“I Know” Tiffany Said As She Wipes Her Tears Away, “And Jada…”

 

“Yeah?” I Answered

 

“I Know I Can’t Stop The Rumors About Me And Nickhun Dating, But I…” Tiffany Paused

“I Want You To Know That Nickhun Is NOT My Real True Love… You Are” Tiffany Said

I Sat Up And Started To Walk Back To My House,

When I Got To My Front Door, I Looked At Tiffany One More Time

Tiffany Mirrored My Broken Smile For A Distance.

When I Got Inside, I Broke Down On The Floor And Cried Softly.

I Felt More In Love Because All This Time, Tiffany Was In Love With Me Since I Got Here,

But Mostly I Felt So Heartbroken Because She’s Being Forced To Date A Guy She Didn’t Love.

As Soon As I Calmed Down, I Got Up And Went Upstairs To My Bed, Then The Other Girls Came In To Talk To Me,

“Are You Okay, Baby Girl?” Jessica Asked

“I Can’t Believe They’re Forcing Tiffany To Lie That She Loves Nickhun” Yoona Said, “That’s Not Right”

“I’m Gonna Go Back To Kansas Tomorrow” I Said, “Don’t Worry, I’m Not Moving Back There, I Just Need To Clear My Head”

“I Have To” I Said, “If I Stay Here And Watch The Girl Who Loves Me With Someone She Didn’t Love, I’ll Just Feel More Heartbroken”

I Smiled And Wiped The Tears Away,

The Girls Gathered Around Me And Gave Me A Big Group Hug,

I Couldn’t Asked For A Better Group Of New Friends Than Girls’ Generation.

 

“Girls, When I Leave Tomorrow, Will You Tell Tiffany That I’ve Gone Home For A While?” I Asked
