Wheein’s day has been great so far. But she should’ve expected that the worst was yet to come…because when did she ever have a good day?

Wheein didn’t know what she was thinking; she didn’t know why she ever thought that Kim Yongsun would give her the opportunity to become a Vixen.

Because right now, as Yongsun stared down at her, she didn’t feel like she was trying out for a spot on the cheerleading team; she felt like she was at a judicial court waiting for her life sentence.

It had to be a unanimous vote between the duo, but of course, Yongsun didn’t like her. The queen bee never liked her. So despite her best efforts, Yongsun declined her a spot on the team. Apparently, her routine was good but Yongsun didn’t see any fire in her. She was simply too dull, as the Fire Queen likes to put it.

"Jung Wheein." Yongsun states her name. "You did fine." Yongsun said as she crossed her arms sitting straight up from her chair, as if she's ready to crush the spirit of the girl standing in front of her. "You didn't completely embarrass yourself, so congratulations." It was the most backhanded compliment if Wheein's ever heard one.

"It's a shame. I would really love to have you on the team." Yongsun continues; she didn't even bother to sound convincing. "But you don't have what it takes to be a Vixen. You're...hmmm...how do I put it nicely?" Yongsun asked but everyone in the gymnasium knew that she had the intention of being anything but nice, much less being gentle to Wheein's feelings. "You're simply too dull."

But nothing about Wheein's performance was dull. In fact, she was brilliant. She seemed like a very well-rounded dancer. You can see in the way she moves that she can excel in all types of choreography, she has the best technique and a lot of flavor. If Moonbyul didn't know any better, she might think that Wheein is a professional. It's either she's a natural genius or she's been lying about not having any background in dancing and has been dancing all her life. Nothing about her performance is dull.

"Now, if that's all you could do then you might want to try some other time." Yongsun says seemingly bored at Wheein's performance. But her eyes say otherwise. Her eyes have that certain fire in them as if she just saw an incredible talent and she's torn whether to let her pride and spite win or let this girl in her team so as to not waste such potential. 

And Byul knows this. She knows this is Yongsun showing who's boss. She was power-tripping Wheein. But she also knows that she can't just disagree with Yongsun, because she'd be more pissed not at Byul, but at Wheein. And Byul's avoiding to put Wheein in such a position. She knows better than anyone to not get on Yongsun's bad side.

Wheein tried her hardest to look at it in a positive light. Sure she was rejected on the spot and was embarrassed in front of the whole gymnasium, but at least she wouldn't have to experience the anticipation of hoping that her name would be on a piece of paper along with the other chosen vixens, right? She sighs, failing miserable at her attempt to be positive. Of course, being rejected by KimYongsun is disheartening, to say the least.

“But you haven’t seen her big finish yet.” Moonbyul suddenly stood up from her seat and towards Wheein. 

Wheein was beyond confused since she was sure Moonbyul didn’t teach her anything else.

Suddenly she was facing Moonbyul and the girl's hand was on the back of her neck pulling her in for a kiss after saying, “It’s okay, just trust me.”

Moonbyul pulled her in and she gladly leaned in. When her lips touched Byul’s she couldn’t help but be captivated by the kiss; couldn’t help but deepen it, as if she’d done it before. They were in sync, like they’d done it a thousand times, even though it was Wheein's first kiss.
