Hyukjae is now on the way down the elevator to go back to his hotel. He was from a meeting in with the production crew who were staying at an apartment where he is now. His phone rang. It was the manager whom he is with and drove him there.

“Oh Jaehyuk-ah” He answered as he went in to the elevator and pressed the button to the lobby.

“I—sdf—saw—skjedln – here—Hae”

“huh? Jaehyuk you’re breaking up. I’m inside the elevator” He reached the lobby and the elevator door opens up.

“Are you done?”

“Yeah, I’m on my way now back to the hotel.”

It's been a while, I didn't mean to stare.

As he was going out of the elevator, he saw a man standing waiting by the elevator. Groceries on his both hands, bucket hat, face mask. But he saw his eyes. Those eyes. The eyes that he has known for more than 20 years. He couldn’t be mistaken. That is Lee Donghae. In flesh. In front of him. Their eyes have met but the other looked away instantly. He was already outside the elevator and the other hurriedly went inside. All he could do was stare at the man in the elevator. The man he hasn’t seen for more than a year. The man who said he needed time and will come back but never did. As the doors are closing, Donghae looked back at his surprised face. When their eyes met again, he didn’t know what to feel. The doors closed, and just like that, he is gone again.

“Hello? Eunhyuk hyung? Are you there?” He suddenly remembered he was on the phone with Jaehyuk.

“O-oh. Jaehyuk. Sorry. I was just—I saw Donghae” He was still frozen in place. He wasn’t sure if he was waiting for something or someone.

“That’s what I was telling you earlier. I think I saw him enter the building earlier”

“Well… we saw each other.” He started walking towards the exit to where Jaehyuk is parked at.

“Did you talk?”

“No. He was in a hurry and I… was in shock. The elevator was already closing when I realized that it was him. All I could do was look at him.”

“Are you going to talk to him?”

“The question is if he will talk to me. Anyways, we have a packed schedule tomorrow. I’m almost there. Let’s just talk when I get there.”

Hyuk arrived at the car and got in. Jaehyuk started driving and they talked about their schedule tomorrow and the filming sites that they are gonna go to. Hyukjae is in Mokpo to shoot for the travel show that he is in. He is there with some other celebrities and tonight they had a briefing at one of the producer’s accommodation, where apparently Donghae was residing in as well.

He knew Donghae is in Mokpo, b
