Everything will be back at its own place.

That's what Chaeyoung thought would happen when Mina returned. Except that it didn't exactly. The day Mina came back with her warm smile and eyes turning into half-moons, Chaeyoung felt how things around her remained the same but somehow, something inside of her didn't.

They're all eating burritos, fries, and tacos while watching a horror movie currently from the only netflix account they have- and yes, their oldest unnie, Nayeon, is paying for it every month. Jeongyeon, Mina, Jihyo and Momo are in the couch while Nayeon, Chaeyoung, Dahyun, Sana and Dahyun are in front of the TV sitting on the floor.

Nayeon is all covered in Blanket grumbling about how much she hates horror movies. Mina never liked Horror movies too which is why she is squeaking with every jump scares in the movie cuddled up with- Jeongyeon.

Chaeyoung could only bit her lip and look away at this scene. There's this sudden throbbing ache on her chest she wishes she did not notice.

'I'm not jealous' She says to herself. 'We're all heteroual here'

But somehow, her mind is floating elsewhere. She finds herself looking back at Jeongyeon & Mina cuddled up on the couch who are both behind her.

"ahh!" Mina screams at the scary scene and followed by laughter realizing she poured down the popcorn to Chaeyoung & Dahyun who's sitting on the floor.

Chaeyoung blinked realizing there is popcorn on her shoulders. There is more popcorn on her compared to Dahyun. Dahyun laughs as she cleaned herself from the little bits of popcorn on her shoulder.

"Sorry!" Mina immediately apologized letting out a soft chuckle.

Mina helped Dahyun got the popcorn out of them while giggling. Chaeyoung looked for a moment at the two of them as she cleans her shoulders from the popcorn- and she might've showed her emotion more than she lets because suddenly, Mina took her by surprise.

Mina pulled the pouting Chaeyoung into a back hug, her arms around the younger's shoulder, "Don't be angry okay changie? unnie's sorry."

'If you hug me like that then I could say being covered in popcorn is worth it' Chaeyoung thought. Now, Chaeyoung could only look down to hide the shy smile on her face.

She then looked around and saw, Nayeon on her blanket, smirking at her. and Chaeyoung could only shake her head.

After that, More than an hour passed by when they finished the movie. Chaeyoung finds it satisfactory ending and it has more depth in its story than she thought.

"I swear my eardrums are now shattered," Jeongyeon says looking at Jihyo who's scream was the loudest.

"It's your movie choice, don't blame it on us," Nayeon interrupts looking at her who somehow looks pissed. Chaeyoung wonders what's gotten into the oldest for her to be in such a bad mood. Maybe because of the movie?

"someone's in a bad mood, "Jeongyeon said, "did you piss yourself with that movie Im Nayeon?"

Nayeon looked back at Jeongyeon, her eyes traveled to Mina beside her briefly as she mumbled, "It's not that scary."

Jeongyeon could only laugh at Nayeon. Because she knows Nayeon was scared. And it some angles, Jeongyeon could admit, it's one of the adorable things about Nayeon.

"I can't believe Sana-unnie fell asleep," Dahyun laughs looking at the woman now snoring softly.

"It's her turn to do the dishes!" Jihyo says, "I can't believe her."

"I'll do the dishes, for now, I'm due tomorrow, maybe we can switch," Mina says.

"that's our mina for you," Jeongyeon says smiling proudly as she puts her hand around the woman, which made chaeyoung only look away.

After a few minutes, everyone got up and went to their room to rest leaving Mina to the sink to wash the dishes. Well, not chaeyoung too of course. She stood up and stand beside Mina who looks at her curiously.

"Chaeng?" Mina looked at her.

"I'm gonna pretend I'm jeongyeon-unnie and wash the dishes because I'm bored," Chaeyoung says which made Mina cracked up.They all know Jeongyeon's hobby when she gets bored is to clean, wash the dishes or to vacuum.

"So you'll help me?" Mina says smiling ear to ear. Pleasant at the help the younger is offering her.

Chaeyoung just smiled and pulled one of the sponges and started washing a plate as well. Mina couldn't help but smile more.

"Thanks Chaengie," Mina said, "Even though I poured my popcorn on you,"

"Well," Chaeyoung said, "If you're sorry then maybe you need to mix coffee for me later."

Coffee before bed, as weird as it sounds, are one of the things they enjoy a lot. They talk a lot or sometime in silence at the dinner table enjoying a peaceful quiet moment when the others are busy.

"mm," Mina bit her lip, "How about.. I treat you to a coffee date next week?"

Chaeyoung almost jumped with that word, took her seconds to realize that her favourite unnie is talking about a friendly date- not that she wants to pass it up.

"Keep it a secret from the others," Mina winked at her.

Chaeyoung felt her cheeks flushed, her stomach twisting at the thrill of all these. Like a secret date, only for the two of them.

"I-I'll take that." Chaeyoung looked down, hiding the small smile forming on her lips.

"Well-so are we gonna watch a movie this weekend?" Yeri smiles at her on her phone screen, "a new romance movie is showing on the cinemas!"

Yeri & Somi's faces are on the screen. They're both on a video call with Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung is sitting in their bedroom while the rest of twice are chattering in the living area.

Chaeyoung looks down, "Sorry guys, I-I have plans this weekend."

Remembering her plan with Mina makes her feel excited- not that they see each other everyday, Being with Mina alone just feels like it'll be entirely different.

"what plans?" Somi asked squinting her eyes curiously.

"I'm planning to have coffee with another," Chaeyoung says.

"Is that a date?!" Yeri squeled, "OMG WHO'S THE GUY!"

"It's not a guy!" Chaeyoung says in defense.

"what? You didn't tell me that's your preference! I did not expect this" Somi asked, panicking.

"Well I did, she kinda look like she's been flirting with that girl from black pink," Yeri giggled, "that one with the same real name as her!"

"wha- I'm not flirting with Rose!" Chaeyoung says.

"I saw you giving that 'call me' hand gesture on Gaon music awards," Yeri laughed.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS SON CHAEYOUNG" Somi asked aggressively.

"Calm down," Chaeyoung put her hand on her forehead, "It's not a guy and it's not a date. AND I DON'T LIKE ROSE!"

"you sure?" Yeri asked suspiciously.

"Yes, I'm-" chaeyoung gulped. "It's just a coffee with Mina-unnie," Chaeyoung says voice softer than usual.

Yeri and Somi both stopped for a second- as if they're realizing something about their friend. They just both shut their mouth and nodded.

"Listen, it's not what you think, Mina-unnie will just treat me to coffee because she felt bad she accidentally poured popcorn on me- and I helped her with the dishes,"

"ohhh" Yeri says.

"you should've said so," Somi said.

"Just enjoy yourself," Yeri said, "we could hang out next week."

"Thanks guys," Chaeyoung sighs ffinally rrelieved that the two finally understood.

"oh, I'm gonna sleep, it's getting late guys," Somi says.

"me too, I'm gonna hang up. Wendy-unnie bought us burgers!" Yeri grins, "byeeee~"

"Bye you two!" Chaeyoung smiles.

"ENJOY YOUR DATE!" Somi laughs.

"YA!!"

"Eat." Nayeon stopped when suddenly a platter of carbonara is placed in front of her. She looked up to see the person who cooked it- Jeongyeon.

It's Sunday once again, and they're the only two people left to stay on their day-off. Momo is out with Sana to go the movies watching some romantic movie. Jihyo dragged Tzuyu along with her to visit her mom's house.

"you cooked this?" Nayeon asked- amused.

"I don't know since we're the only two people here-- maybe a ghost did!," Jeongyeon sneered as she answered sarcastically.

She sat in front of Nayeon on the dining table, starting to eat her carbonara as well. Nayeon just rolled her eyes but still smiled at Jeongyeon, "Thanks Casper,"

"Welcome, Nabongs." Jeongyeon smiles softly.

"Where is everyone, it's so quiet," Nayeon says munching on her carbonara.

"Jihyo visited her mother with Tzuyu. Jihyo, Sana and momo went to the movies. And Chaeyoung asked Mina to accompany her to get a new pair of glases."

Nayeon's eyebrows furrowed, "Mina doesn't have a bad eyesight."

"now that you say that," Jeongyeon looked up thinking.

"Maybe they went on a date," Nayeon said smirking.

"ya, those two wouldn't go to a double date without letting us know," Jeongyeon says innocently- completely different from what nayeon is implying.

"I didn't say 'double' but I guess you can leave it like that," Nayeon mumbled and Jeongyeon did not have a single clue on what she had said. Not like she would discuss to anyone about Chaeyoung's obvious crush on Mina.

"but it's still nice having a quiet peace around finally without Jihyo's loud voice," Jeongyeon laughs, "I've had enough of it when we watched that horror movie last Thursday night."

"and It feels good eating this all by myself without Momo eating my part," Nayeon says chuckling.

"I bet she's eating more than what we're eating now," Jeongyeon says, "can't believe her. But of course, that makes her cute."

Nayeon nods then pouted looking at Jeongyeon.

"what? What's with that pouty face," Jeongyeon's eyebrows raised.

"what about me?" Nayeon says putting her hands on her chin, "Am I cute?"

Jeongyeon turned bright red by the older's sudden question. She scoffed, "Nabong! You're so annoying!"

"ya!" Nayeon furrowed her eyebrows, "You call everyone cute except for me! Do you have some sort of grudge with me- "

"hey stop nagging- fine," Jeongyeon says then her voice shifts in a tone more softly than normal, "I do find you cute."

And that was it. Nayeon's lips turned into a wide smile.

"If you tell anyone, I'll hit you with the vacuum," Jeongyeon says and Nayeon just chuckled- contented at the latter's answer.

At times like this, Nayeon thought how Jeongyeon can be so annoying - especially when she laughs boisterously with no hint of shame as she teases her. The latter knows how to push her buttons. Everyone loves teasing her- but Jeongyeon is the only one to actually agitate her.

But amidst those, in moments like these. When everyone is away- Jeongyeon would soften from someone with snide remarks about her into someone who actually cooks carbonara for her.

After eating, the two of them decided to sit on the couch, watching television dramas. Jeongyeon rests her head on Nayeon's lap as they talked about their thoughts, their lives and their dreams. These moments like these- It's the ones Nayeon treasures.

From that Jeongyeon who teases and argues with her everytime she got, into this jeongyeon who laid her head into her lap- voice softer than normal.

Like a secret kept between the two of them.

Chaeyoung felt going dry just by looking at the woman in front of her. Mina looks outside the café and the sun rays hits her brown eyes.

It was dark-colored but turns light brown as the sun hits- chocolate color filled with warmth that made Mina's face even more ethereal. Chaeyoung had always knew this, always admired this beauty- but somehow this felt like a whole new level of admiration. She looked away and swallowed.

'Okay, maybe I'm having a tiny bit of crush with Mina-unnie' she tells herself. 'But who wouldn't, right? We all go through this phase,'

Her thoughts were stopped when the waiter finally brought their order. Chaeyoung smiles looking at the cake Mina ordered for her. It was her favorite.

"Thanks for treating me this," Chaeyoung says looking at her macchiato and strawberry shortcake on the side.

"What treat?" Mina teases, "You're the one who's going to treat me. Why did you think I told you to keep this a secret?"

Chaeyoung laughs and pouted, "Don't you think this is a crime unnie?"

"Just kidding Chaeng," Mina smiles, "order as much strawberry as you like."

Mina nodded showing her gummy smile and chaeyoung could only smile back.

"you brought your notebook, huh?" Mina observed the little brown notebook beside chaeyoung. Of course she knew, it's chaeyoung's notebook for her thoughts, her doodle.

"Yeah, you never know when an idea strikes you," Chaeyoung says.

"that sounds really like you," Mina says. Chaeyoung smiles. When all of twice makes fun of her 'sappy' poetries and lyrics, Mina's the one who reads it genuinely- and it's one of the things, Chaeyoung appreciates about her.

"you know I wish I could have more artistic talent like you," Mina says.

"you do though," Chaeyoung says, "Maybe just a need a bit of practice."

"my drawing is bad!" Mina said in grimace.

"it's better than momo-unnie's" Chaeyoung laughs remembering that one time she drew Nayeon and it just cracked her up.

Mina squinted her eyes looking at chaeyoung, "If you really think that then let me draw-"

"oh here in my notebook?" chaeyoung asked.

"no!" Mina says sternly as she pulled Chaeyoung's wrist which made the younger almost stop with breathing. "I'm drawing it here."

"w-why on my wrist unnie?" Chaeyoung asked stumbling with words.

"To prove that you don't think my drawing is bad," Mina grins.

The minute mina took up holding on chaeyoung's wrist drawing something on it is also the amount of time chaeyoung almost couldn't breathe.

Mina let go and chaeyoung finally saw what the latter was sketching. A cute one but a poorly drawn one.

but still cute for Chaeyoung.

"Is this a duck?" Chaeyoung's lips turned into a upward smile.

"ya! It's a penguin." Mina says pouting.

"well, It's cute," Chaeyoung says.

"Just like me?" Mina grins.

"Yeah, just like you." Chaeyoung finds herself admitting.

and that sweet compliment was rewarded by a sweet smile from Mina as well. She looks at the drawing and snorted. She wouldn't want to erase something like this even though it's not really a well-drawn one. Chaeyoung could always find herself smiling at Mina's unexpected playfulness and mischievousness.

After eating in the café, both of them window shopped and relaxed at the nearby park. The day ended with them walking back to their apartment.

The air is cold and as usual, Chaeyoung gave Mina her Jacket. Mina smiles at her and thanks her like she usually does.

"The view here is beautiful," Chaeyoung says looking at the night lights. The sun is almost down yet it's not completely dark. Twilight- you could say and for Chaeyoung, It's one of the most beautiful times of the day.

Mina could only smile, "It makes me feel like I'm in a romantic movie,"

Chaeyoung nods agreeing, the view is just romantic and breath-taking.

"you know chaeng, the real reason I treat you today was that.. I wanted to thank you," Mina starts, "I mean for all the times, you were there for me when I had anxiety. I never got to say how much I'm grateful."

"I don't know why, I just always happen to be there," Chaeyoung says. Mina knew better though- that even if another twice member comes, Chaeyoung is different. She comforts her in a way as if it's natural for her.

Mina didn't say anything and just suddenly held her hand- as if the world stopped, Chaeyoung was in a daze for a second. Her hand, in between Mina's as they walk in the street.

"Holding your hand makes me happy," Mina says looking down with a voice even more softly than normal, "It's as if I always have your hands to hold no matter how life is hard."

Mina looked at her- with eyes grinning into half-moons showing off her gummy smile, innocent like a child and there it is, she's speechless once again. Like a deer on headlights, thousand emotions playing on her chest.

"When I was away, that's when I realized how your presence alone helped me.Every time you just stay beside me whenever I wake up late at night, sometimes not talking. Or When you would calm me down whenever I have my panic attacks. Or when you rubbed my shoulder whenever you know something had upset me. You don't ask me- you don't say much but you were always there-and I guess, that was the comfort that helped me a lot. "

The words the latter spoke just went through her heart- deeper than Mina intended. Mina was not smiling at her again, but there is a certain vulnerability to it, a certain shyness that made Chaeyoung's heart melt. Not a lot of people got to see this side of Mina.

Cheyoung's mouth suddenly felt dry- but her face was hot. That smile and that warmth in between their hands holding she couldn't think of anything else. She swallowed as if there is an aftertaste of the strawberry cake she ate earlier- This feeling in her chest is just too blissful,

Too sweet.

Too endearing.

This sweet fruit she ate without protest.

And of course, right now, Chaeyoung finally realizes-

She's already in love

even before she tried not to.
