Daniel/ Jihyo -Things you said when it was over  

The phone call comes unexpectedly and it doesn’t last long. His voice is cranky, unstable, and he laughs a lot even as he says, “How could you leave me? How…was I not good enough?” 

What was she supposed to answer? No one ever prepared her for this part of a breakup. The aftermath. Was there a manual she forgot to read in the midst of her love? Did she miss something?

And Daniel continues on and on. Asking why she left, was she crying like he was? He wrote a song for he and deleted it because it… just didn’t fit. 

“Do you miss me, Jihyo-a?” He breaths heavy, waits, for the first time since the call. 

Jihyo lays back in bed, stares at the dark ceiling and ponders, “Do I miss him?”

She doesn’t answer, he’s still on the line, no words from him. 

“I guess you don’t.”

The line goes dead and Jihyo muffles her cries.
