The camera blitz were flashing everywhere in SM photo studio. A girl with long hair were busy taking photos for new SM artist. Kim Rei is her name. She was one of photographer in SM. While she was taking photos,a boy with blonde hair looked at her with lovely and admiration gaze. His name is Lee Taemin. The great dancer from a popular boyband,Shinee. He sighed over and over again as he bit his lower lips,try to avoid temptation to confess his feelings to her. *I wish I am just a normal boy.* he thought. As he looked at her,his mind run to when they first met with each other.

 ----- flashback------

"hyung! I can't believe SM will change our photographer again!" 18 years old Taemin pouted to his hyungs

"Just follow it. You know what will happen to you if you're not following it." Key adviced him

"arasso..." Taemin gave up and obey his 'umma' advice

 "here it is." they stopped infront of a room. SM studio Onew opened the door and greet all the staff that presence there. The other member followed what Onew did. Taemin was bowing to the staff when he saw a beautiful girl with long black hair smile to him. *isn't she the same age as me?* Taemin thought while bowing to her. Soon, the photoshoot begin. To their supraise a girl that they met before is actually their new photographer.

 "annyeonghaseyo!" she approached Shinee

"annyeonghaseyo! So, you're our new photographer?" Onew asked

 "nde. My name is Kim Rei. I am 18 years old. Nice to meet you Onew-ssi." she bowed

"you should call us oppa then!" Jonghyun beamed " what month are you?"

"I'm younger than Taemin oppa." Taemin was blushing hard but he try to hide it. Rei invited them to take a look at the results of the photoshoot.

"Whoa! Your picture looks like a pro!" Key complimented

"thank you Key oppa."

 "isn't her skills great Taemin?" Minho asked Taemin

"ye-yeah..." Taemin mumbled

"are you blushing maknae?" Key

"Ani! Who said that?" Taemin denied

"Relax maknae... I was just kidding..." Rei chuckled when she saw Taemin deny Key's question. *she looks cute..* Taemin thought

"Taemin oppa!" Rei smile as she saw him

"Hey!" Taemin smile back and approach her

 "you don't have any schedule today?" She asked while editing her pictures that she took earlier

 "No. Can you... Accompany me to grab a banana milk?"

"sure. Let's go!" Rei left her works to her assistant.

Rei and Taemin went to SM small store that locate below the practice room. Mostly staff were the on who are eating there. Taemin bought a banana milk and Rei have a bottle of mineral water. They sat in the corner of the store.

 "where are the others oppa?" Rei asked as she tried to open the water bottle

 "They have their own schedule." Taemin replied as he opened the water bottle cap for Rei

"thank you oppa." Rei said as Taemin handed her back her bottle

"Do you have anything to talk?"

"Rei,do you want to be a superstar girlfriend?" Taemin sudden question make Rei choke

 "superstar as in superstar like Rain?"

 "not Rain,but quite famous boy."

"maybe."

"Do you want to be my girlfriend then?" Taemin bluntly asked Rei blinked her eyes several times. She didn't believe what Taemin has just said

 "what?"

"To tell the truth," Taemin sighed "I like you since the first time I saw you." he confessed

"Me too..." she mumbled

 "Wh-what?"

"I like you too pabo!" Rei stuck her tongue out and run away from the store

 "Yah! Wait!" Taemin ran and catch her. She was about to protest when Taemin kissed her cheek " I like you the most my VIU" Rei was blushing like crazy when Taemin said that

" I like you the most too oppa."

"Shall we go for date then?"

 "I can't.." Rei pouted " I still have some more works to do."

 "Too bad... But that's okay. I will call you later then." Taemin smile and plant another kiss on her cheek Rei walked happily to SM photo studio when she received a text message

 "Hyung!!!" Taemin hugged Key,his first hyung he saw when he came back

"Yah,what's wrong with you?" He frowned and feel weird with Shinee maknae behavior

"I have a girlfriend~" He sang

 "You what!?" Key asked in high pitch tone

"are you trying to make me retire as a singer faster?" Taemin complained

 "Nope if you didn't give me a shocking news like that. Who is she? Your schoolmate?"

"she's Rei." Taemin said proudly

 "Taemin.." Key sighed " do you know that you'll end both your career and her career if you're dating her?"

"But I love her!" Taemin protested

"Taemin,just at least try not to get caught." Key advised "Not like Jonghyun." Key glared as Jonghyun entered the dorm

"What?" Jonghyun asked cluelessly

"Nothing." Key put a fake smile "you can promise me that right?"

 "Yeah." Taemin noded

Unknowingly,Mr.Lee who was going to TVXQ’s dorm listen clearly all conversation between Key and Taemin. He hate it when one of his artist date like what Jonghyun used to do. It created so much scandals and antis. He smirked as he picked up his phone “Call Shinee manager, Inform him that I want to meet with Taemin next week.”

------- A week later ------

Taemin smile as he received a text message from Rei. They’ll have their 2^nd date today. They couldn’t go on date like usual couple because of their works and status.

“Is it Rei?” Key asked as he hand him a towel

“Yeah.” Taemin beamed “I’ll go on date tonight?”

“So far so good huh?” Minho chuckled

“Not like me,I’ve to spread false rumours about breaking u with Se Kyung.” Jonghyun sighed “Lucky you.”

“It’s not only Lucky hyung.” Taemin sat beside Jonghyun “It’s about technique.” He grinned

“Stop talking about technique and get your up from the floor because our Japanese debut will be only 6 month away.” Key nagged them

“Argh..” They groaned and complain

They decided to practice their debut song in Japanese language again. They were practicing when their manager came up with a bottle of sodas.

“Take a break guys.” He clapped his hand “Taemin,Mr.Lee wants to see you in his office.” He informed

“Me?” Taemin pointed to himself

“Yeah.” He noded “The rest you can take a break.”

Taemin left the room and go to Mr.Lee office. He didn’t know what plan Mr.Lee has in his mind at the moment.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

“Come in.” He yelled from inside

Taemin came in and bow to him “Good afternoon Mr.Lee.”

“Take a sit Taemin.” Mr.Lee pointed to the seat infront of him

Taemin sat infront of him with a nervous feelings “So… what do you want to know Mr.Lee?”

“Break up with her.” Mr.Lee said straight to the point

“Wh-what?” Taemin stammered

“Break up with Kim Rei.” He folded his arms infront of his chest “Easy right?”

“But I love her!” He protest

“Fine.” Mr.Lee sighed. He dialed a number “Hello,can you tell Avex that Shinee debut in Japan will be next week and they’re going to Japan tonight? Thank you.”

Taemin couldn’t believe what Mr.Lee has just said “Sir, you can’t do this to me.” He said

“I can. Now go.” Mr.Lee said firmly

Taemin clenched his fist tight and go out from Mr.Lee’s office. He couldn’t decide between Shinee and Rei. He loved both of them so much. *What should I do?* Taemin thought while he was walking back to his practice room.

“Ouch!”

Taemin quickly bowed and help her to get up “Are you okay?”

“Oppa!” It was Rei

“I-I need to go.” Taemin ran back to his practice room and lock the room

“Yah! Why are you locking it?” Key nagged him “Is it….” Key trailed his words

“We’ll go to Japan tomorrow. Our debut will be next week.” Onew sighed

Key noticed Taemin bite his lower lips. Key approached him and hug him “Gwencahana. We’re okay with that. It’s not your fault Taemin.” Key whispered

“Hyung,can I sleep with you later?”

“Nde.” Key noded

Taemin stepped out from the practice room and meet Rei who was infront of practice room since 5 minutes ago. Taemin took a deep breath before he told her his decision

“Let’s break up.” Taemin said while closing his eyes,not want to see her face

“Arasso.” Taemin opened his eyes and look at Rei “Rei..”

“I know it won’t work. I’m sorry oppa.” Rei bowed and leave Taemin there,speechless. *Why Rei?*

Little did taemin know,Rei stay in the photo studio late at night. She cried almost all night. Her eyes were swollen and red. Tears ran through her cheeks everytime she remember about the confession,first date with Taemin and everything she has been through with Taemin as a friend and a lover. *Maybe we’re not meant to be.* She thought. She took her phone and dial a phone number

“Hello,Good to hear you call me Ms.Kim.”

“Sir, i…” She breathed “I will take the prize.”

-------- Next Day ---------

Shinee took their suitcase to the van. Today Shinee would leave Korea to debut in Japan. Key and Onew packed all the things they leave in their dorm. They didn’t know when they’ll come back to Korea and make Korea comeback. It all depended on what Mr.Lee want. Key forced Taemin to say goodbye to Rei. So, here he is,infront of SM Photo studio where Rei spent most of her time. He looked for Rei but he didn’t find her anywhere in the room.

“Excuse me.” Taemin tapped a photographer “Do you know where Rei is?”

“Rei as in Kim Rei?”

“yes.” Taemin noded

“ I also don’t know but she left this. She said to give this to you Taemin-ssi.” He handed Taemin a letter

“Thank you.” Taemin accepted the letter and read it

Dear Taemin,my love and my best friend

When you received this letter means that you want to find me in the photo studio,you might want to say farewell to me… Thank you for everything Taemin oppa. Thank you you’ve been the one that I love the most in my life. You give me a meaning of love,teach me how to love and make me fall for you. Since the first time I accepted your love,I know it will end this way. Do you remember the contest that I joined 3 month ago? I won. I received 1^st place. But… I have to go to US and study photography there. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you earlier. Oppa, if we really meant to be,we’ll meet again someday,when this world allow us to love each other. “Taemin oppa!” Taemin turned back and he saw Sulli there

“Hello Sulli.” He smile “You look beautiful today.” He complimented

“Thank you oppa.” She smile “The exhibition will start soon.”

They made their enterance to the exhibition. Taemin went back to Korea a year after their debut in Japan. Since then,Taemin always attended photography exhibition. Who knew that Taemin might meet Rei again. All people gathered in the main hall to see the most wanted picture.

“So, now, I’ll introduce you,the most wanted picture,place your bits!” The host said as he opened the white curtain that cover the picture

People started to place their bits while Taemin looked at the picture without even blink. Sulli glanced to Taemin and glance back to the picture.

“Oppa, isn’t that…” She pointed to the picture “You?”

Taemin raised his hand high “$10.000” Taemin said

“Stop. Mr.Lee got this picture for $10.000!” The host said

“He’s not only get the picture.” A woman with long black dress and long black hair appeard “Because that’s my heart.” She smile

Taemin lips curled into a smile. 2 hearts that couldn’t get together for 5 years,finally meet again,find their own way,and draw their own story
