Jonghyun`s POV

The whole time we were practicing I couldn`t concentrate. I kept thinking of signs that maybe meant that she liked me. I screwed up a lot so I just called a break and walked out of the dance room alone. I went up on the roof to think, this was my favorite place to go because I can see the beautiful scenery of Seoul.

``I`m sorry.`` I suddenly heard a familiar female voice say from behind me.

Did she know that I was thinking about what she said?

``I`m sorry I`ve been such a bad friend to you. I`ve been selfish all this time. There`s obviously something borhtering you and I don`t even know what it is as your best friend because all I do is think about Hae Oppa. You always listen to my rants about him and Yoona but lately I haven`t been paying enough attention to you. I`m sorry``

Of course she doesn`t know whats going on. And I actually thought she knew what I wanted her to apologize for. But I really couldn`t blame her. Not like I confessed to her or anything. In fact I barely even know if i like her yet how was she suppose to know?

``It`s ok. You don`t need to apoligze Sica. You didn`t do anything wrong and I`m okay.`` I said and smiled.

``Don`t lie to me. There`s domething wrong, Why don`t you just tell me?`` She retorted.

``Seriously. Nothing`s wrong. Your were just overthinking.`` I denied.

``Stop being so stubborn and just tell me. It`s obvious something`s wrong. Your dance moves were dull and you kept messing up too.`` I still didn`t say anything so she continued.``Cummon you`ve been there for me all this time and I haven`t done anyth-``

``You wanna know what`s my problem?! There`s a girl that I think I like but she`s still in love with her ex even though he already moved on. And she always cries about him and it hurts me seeing her like that..`` I finally exploded and told her, but even with all the upset feelings welled up inside of me I still didn`t have the courage to tell her that the girl I was talking about was her.

Jessica`s POV

Was he talking about me? He didn`t say the name of the girl but it sounded a lot like our relationship. If the girl was me, would I accept him if he confessed?Do I even like him or do I just pity him?I decided to ask more questions before I jump to conclusions.

``Why don`t you confess to her?``

``She wouldn`t say yes right now. She`s too upset about her ex. I wouldn`t blame her though. Her ex is so much better looking, more talented, smarter and overall just better than me anyways.`` He replied sadly.

``That`s not true.. Jonghyun, your near perfect. You can sing, dance you sweet, funny and just wonderful. You`re a great guy and any girl would be lucky to have you. And maybe you can help that girl forget about her ex.`` I know I was leading him on by saying this but I just wanted to make him feel better.. And maybe I like him too?

``Thanks. We should go back down before they start worrying.`` He said. I linked arms with him and we walked down slowly in silence.

As we entered the dance room I could see taeyeon mouthe the words we need to talk. I just nodded and walked to my spot with Jonghyun..

Back at Home

While I was reading Romeo and Juliette for about the tenth time Taeyeon just suddenly barged into my room and locked the door behind her and plopped on my bed.

Before I could even process what was going on she spoke up ``I think I like Onew!``

I was silent for a moment before I realized what she said and suddenly I freaked out like her. ``OH MY GOD! YOU LIKE ON-`` Before I could finish my sentence she covered my mouth muffling my words.

``SHHHH! Don`t tell any of the other girls I don`t want anyone else to know yet since it`s just a small crush.``

``Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my go-``

``Yah stop saying that. It`s not that big of a deal anyways.`` Typical of taeyeon to try to avoid talking about her feelings.

``Aww cummon why can`t we just talk about it for a while?`` I begged with a bit of aegyo `` Plus it`s cute.``

`` Fine just for a bit.`` She gave up and let me annoy her with loads and loads of questions.

We talked about her little crush and laughed at things that could happen if they started dating. Until she asked ``So what did you and Jonghyun talk about up on the roof?``

I looked at her in suprise `` Well I could tell he was sad about something so I went up talk to him and well he said he was upset about a girl that he liked and he isn`t planning on asking her out because she`s probably still upset about her ex. And I think that girl is me because he also sad she cried about him a lot and  then it got me thinking. maybe It`s time for me to find someone to take my mind off Hae Oppa. But I think he might still care about me.``

``What do you mean?``

Then I told her about what Heechul Oppa said and how Jonghyun reactted she was suprised then made a simple statement that made my stomach flip a little. `` He likes you.`` The thought of him possibly liking me was enough to make me happy for the rest of the year. But why am I so happy if he`s just my friend? Unless...

``Taeyeon-ah. I think.... I like him too...`` Taeyeon`s jaw dropped and then she smiled.

``I knew it. Of course you would. He`s good looking and a great personality too. Why wouldn`t you like him? But how are you going to tell him if he`s not going to properly confess to you?`` I gave her a questioning look. What did she mean by properly confess? `` Aww cummon. You didn`t think he just accidentally spilled all of that out to you did you? He obviously said what he said on the roof because he wanted to get some of it out but couldn`t tell you all of it because he was afraid of your rejection. He wants to be with you but he doesn`t want to rush it with you because he knows your not over Donghae yet. I mean it was just yesterday you were crying over him.``

`` Heheh. Actually I was crying about Jonghyun.`` I said shyly. ``You know how he`s always said that the actress Shin Sekyung was really pretty and a great actress? Well she was at Music Bank yesterday and I saw her and Jonghyun flirting like crazy and she was even holding onto his arms! And I guess I was just afraid that he would replace me like Hae Oppa did. So I ran away and cried in the change room. I honestly didn`t know why I cared so much about him getting a girlfriend until now.``

Taeyeon just stared at me then she spoke up. ``But what about the things you said to Jonghyun yesterday about Hae Oppa. And the worst part is now Hae Oppa heard you guys talking abou how hurt you were by him.``

`` Well I was sad about Hae oppa and Yoona yesterday because I saw them making out in Suju`s dressing room that`s why I wanted to talk to Jonghyun. But when I saw he was occupied with Sekyung I just cried alone. And then when he took me home I had a dream that Hae Oppa and Yoona were at our dorm and they were watching a movie and when I asked what they were doing holding each other when Hae was with me. Hae Oppa just laughed at me and said they were together now and I have always just been a piece of trash to him. Useless, in the way and just a baggage he had to comfort and take care of. Then he started fading away. So I screamed his name and woke up crying and I didn`t know what the dream meant until this morning. Donghae and Yoona being together was like Jonghyun and sekyung together. And then when Donghae said those harsh words to me was just like when he abandoned me and I was afraid Jonghyun would do that to me too. At first I really thought it meant I still wasn`t over Hae Oppa yet but now I know that dream was just symbolic for my fear of Jonghyun leaving for Sekyung.`` I finished.

``But what about Hae Oppa now? He thinks your still upset by him`` Taeyeon asked.

``Maybe what Jonghyun said was true. Maybe he just doesnt like seeing me be happy without him. Jonghyun`s right about him not being sincerely sorry to me because if he was he would do something to make it less painful for me, but he just let me suffer. Alone.`` I replied coldly.

Gahh I`m making this story move faster than I had originally planned but I didn`t want to bore you guys with the same things over and over again so Jongsica might actually get together soon. Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed!
