Hangeng paid a visit to his youngest member. It was short and likely unscheduled but Henry welcomed him with all due respect.

“gege.. I didn’t expect you to come.”

“I know.. I don’t want you to prepare either.”

Hangeng said as he sat on the sofa.

“coffee?”

Henry offered but Hangeng refused and motioned for Henry to sit.

“I wanted to talk to you..”

“is this about ryeowook-hyung?”

Hangeng nodded.

“that’s why I don’t want to say I was coming today.”

“I understand..”

“I want to know the reason Henry..”

Henry was welling up with tears as Hangeng spoke.

“you know, back then, I made a decision that changed everything.. it was a hard one and believe me, it broke my heart leaving heechul.”

“I know Hyung..”

Henry was now silently crying.

“I made a decision to leave.. I did.. but before I did.. I explained to heechul and he understood why I wanted to do so.. He was there to support me with my decision, he was there when I said goodbye.. he knew the reason why I had to do it..”

Hangeng was cut short when Henry suddenly stood up, walked out and returned minutes later with a letter at hand.

“this was my reason hyung..”

Henry handed him the letter and Hangeng read it in silence:

Henry,

Although we value your talent and you as a person, the company is forced to make a decision; we needed you to “disappear” from the public’s eyes. The threats of the withdrawal of sponsors have been very great since the SJ13 propaganda had already heightened. It is to much of our dismay that we are making such decision: this is to save Super Junior. And this includes breaking up with Ryeowook. We know that it’ll be hard on your part, but you are doing Ryeowook a favor.

We will still hold you in contract and have plans for your solo debut but now, we need you to work on Zhang Zi Yin’s comeback album. We’ll keep you posted
