3 hours passed by, mostly watching TV, eating some crisps and strumming on Dad's guitar.

I was playing one of my Mom's favourite melodies. She hated the fact that every melody was on an organ or a piano of some sort. She wanted to take it to the next level. She taught me how to play the melody when I was nine. Back then, I never knew that she'd disappear from my life 4 years later.

~Flashback~

''..No, love. You put the fingers there.'' Mom went in her gentle tone. She took my hand from the 5th string of the guitar and placed them on the 1st. ''Now slide your fingertips down''

I did as she told and it resulted in a huge orchestra-like sound to come out of the guitar.

She clapped. But somehow it felt like as if a whole audience was clapping for me.

''You did great!'' she hugged me and I leaned into her warmth. The moment was absolutely perfect.

~End of flashback~

It was only when Dad took the guitar away from me that I noticed I was crying. He brushed my tears away and kissed my head. ''Don't cry, love.''

I nodded and hugged him tight. Even though I missed Mom, I still had Dad. And I was really grateful for that.

''Go get dressed. You're going to be late for dance practice''

~

''VIC-DONGSAENG!'' Sungmin yelled. He came running up to me, but was stopped by Heechul. 

''Why are you late?'' 

''I..uh..Mom'' I said looking down. 

I heard everyone in the room sigh. ''It's okay Vic.'' Heechul patted my back and even offered to carry my bag to the bleacher-like things at the far corner of  the room.

Sungmin tugged at my hand, and I let him drag me all over the room. He planted my feet on the second row and skipped to the front row with Heechul. 

I chuckled. Aish.. Sungmin.

Suddently the door burst open and someone came into the room. He looked strangely familiar, with black hair and sort-of baggy clothes. He was wearing a couple of shades and he had a duffel bag slung over his right shoulder. 

I watched him take off his shades and run a hand through his hair. 

Oh .

It's Nichkhun.

I started panicking and glanced from him to Heechul from time to time. Then I noticed that the girl next to me was wearing a cap. 

Eureka!

''Uhm.. Jess? Could I borrow that for a while?'' I said pointing at her cap. She nodded and took the hat off her head and handed it to me. I took it gratefully and put it on, making sure to hide my face just a bit.

I tilted the cap down a bit, and brushed my bangs on my forehead. Perfect~

''Everyone! I would like you all to meet Nichkhun. He will be with us for the rest of the year.'' Heechul's voice boomed. Nickhun flashed a smile at everyone and I grinned.

''So.. Nichkhun... Ah! Why don't you go next to Victoria?''

I looked up and found Nichkhun asking Heechul something. He replied with a confident, ''Yes.''

A smile was forming on his face and Jessica's hat was off my head in a blink. I looked up and found Nichkhun gazing at me, Jessica's hat on his HUGE head.

''Uh.. hi?'' 

He smiled wide and poked my cheek. I smiled and started doing the steps that Heechul had started to do. 

Swiftly of course.

Turn...spin...tap foot three times and spin again-

''Ooof!'' I bumped against something.

I looked up, yet again, and found myself face to face with Nichkhun. ''I.. uh..mianhae'' I said standing up straight. 

He chuckled at my expression and I shrugged it off by glancing at the clock. It had only been half an hour since we started. 

''Okay everyone! Outside for a break!'' Heechul announced.

I sat on the ground and motioned Heechul to come to me. He had a bit of difficulty, because everyone was going out of the room. ''Chullie, can I use the stereo for a while?'' 

''For what exactly?'' Heechul asked concerned. He had saved up for MONTHS for that stereo and didn't want even a scratch on it.

''Just wanted to play these tunes to get me in the mood. I played one of Mom's melodies and.. yeah. I haven't been up today ever since.'' I handed him a CD from my jacket's pocket. It was labeled, ''Latin''

He patted my back understandingly and placed the CD in the stereo. He pressed Play andwalked out the door.

The first tune was Dad's favourite. It was ballroom type of tune, with a lot of clicks and drums in the background. I bobbed my heat the beat of the drum, and smoothed my shorts. 

Sooner or later, the second tune started playing. I smiled at the sound of the first few beats. Tango and VE~RY dancy music.

*Knock knock*

My head turned and I saw Nichkhun, leaning against the door. He walked over to me and and listened to the music. ''Nice choice. You know the steps?'' he asked.

I nodded.

Taking the most of this opportunity, he offered me his hand. ''May I have this dance?''

I hesitated, for a while but took it anyway. He walked me over to the center of the room and placed one hand on my waist, and took my hand in the other. When it was over, I heard a round of applause from behind us. Both of us turned and smiled at Heechul and the other dancers. When I turned to face Nichkhun again, his face leaned closer to mine and he whispered, ''You're a great dancer, you know that?''

''T-thanks''

He kissed my cheek and took my hand again. 

''You're welcome''
